I don’t know if the person who is taking my order knows English or not but every time I go there my food is always messed up. I now have to them repeat back my order to me just so I don’t have to deal with their incompetence

I have wanted to try Charley’s for years, but was very disappointed after we finally stopped by for dinner. It was slow, slow, slow, our order was wrong, the burger greasy & over priced, and the customer service was horrible. We won’t be going back. If you want a great burger, go to Kincaids!

A great hole in the wall burger place! I came across this through a Google search for a good burger place and was not disappointed! I got the Avocado burger and my friend got the Tobasco one. Both were delicious! I also loved the set up of it all. A must if you’re ever in the area.

Been eating here for 24 years… always amazing and consistent. Little pricey but im willing to pay if that means keeping this place around.

Holy mother of God. This place is expensive, and not worth the money. Over $ 10 for a cheeseburger basket and drink at a hole in the wall? The fries were bland, and kind of reminded me of the greasy fries at Five Guys. The burger was okay. They also forgot to put cheese on my CHEESEburger, and when I told the lady at the counter this, she acted like I was lying to her. Over a piece of cheese. Won’t be back.

Great old fashioned American Burgers in an funky little shack. This is the original location and a true institution of FW. Seating inside is limited, additional seating is available outside at a picnic table. The fries and the onion rings are both fresh, NOT frozen. My favorite are the onion rings! The last time I was there I had the patty melt. I was looking to try something new off the menu and I was pleased. I usually get the cheese burger basket with sweet tea.

Wow! Super good burger! I literally am just now sitting down from devouring a burger from Charley’s. It was perfect. The beef is fantastic, the bun is sweet and doughy, and of course, the bacon brought it all home! It’s one of those burgers that is so good that it melts… yet somehow stays together, and isn’t messy or soggy at all. Not only does it defy physics, it also happens to be incredibly delicious. I can say that I will 100% be back to have myself some Charley’s. Thoroughly impressed and very satisfied.

Cool little hole in the wall with both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the family special of four burgers, a family-size fries, and four beverages. Everything was fresh and tasty. I don’t normally care for fresh-cut fries but these were pretty good. I forgot to say no mayo on the burgers but they didn’t put a ton on so it worked out ok anyway. The burgers had fresh lettuce, tomato, and chopped onion, were seasoned with a little bit of pepper. They had a little grease but not an excessive amount. It took a few minutes because everything was made-to-order. Next time I want to try a patty melt. It’s kind of far from where we live but if we’re in the neighborhood we’d definitely come back.

HOLYCOW this place is expensive. $ 11.04 for a cheese burger, tots, and a small no-refill drink. I’ve been driving by this place for almost 20 years and finally decided to stop in. Teeny tiny little burger joint that you order outside at the window. The lady at the window was nice. It took over 20 minutes to get my order(way to long for a work day lunch) but it was a nice day so I sat at the outside table and watched the world go by. The burger and tots were good not great. I would have been just as happy with a Sonic or What-A-Burger for about half of the price. The only saving grace for this place was my small no-refill drink was a Big Red. I have not had one in ages.

Good and tasty! Super greasy though! I wish they use a different type of bun, the kind that doesn’t go soggy. mine got all soggy from the grease. Good food overall though.

Want the kind of burger you’d consider as your final meal on death row? Stop here. Add a chocolate malt because you only live once.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside, Charley’s looks like another dingy little burger stand. But it’s surprisingly delicious. The only complaint I have is the seating. Most of it is outside as the inside is very very tiny.

Charley’s – the food and the joint itself – is not fancy by any means, but who needs fanciness for a burger? Smallish inside seating area, while outside there are picnic tables for larger groups. Ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and was not disappointed. Nothing fancy shmancy about the burger – in a world where«gourmet burger» joints are popping up, this place makes a basic cheeseburger(1⁄3 pound burger with cheese, bun, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato) and wrapped in paper ala any fast food place. It’s really juicy, cooked on the stove(not grilled) so it retains a lot of the fat and juices and stays soft rather than hard and slightly charred. I definitely enjoyed it; gonna come back in the future and bring some peeps, perhaps when it’s less hot outside. Hooray Charley’s!

Old school. They hand squeeze each cup of lemonade and grill their burgers to perfection. This place has been consistently good for the past 15 years. Must try in Fort Worth!

Good but not great. Tried the Great Burger at this tiny burger dive place, double patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and bacon or so I thought. It also had several slices of ham like meat, which added nothing to flavor except more sodium. Just the burger, cup of water at lunch, no fries and the tab is $ 11.50? Nope. Not worth it. Better burgers for much less at other places.

Do not underestimate the place by its looks! Bcuz the burgers and fries are awesome ! We ordered double burger and hamburger with french fries. The burgers: meats are well marinated, fresh vegetables and tasty bread. French fry was soft and big! I am sure I will come back again.

We love it! Been by this place several times and today was the day we finally made a point to check them out… Glad we did. Food was excellent. Service was on point; personable. We practically had the joint to ourselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Love«hole in the wall» places. You can go to a chain anytime. Want a good homemade burger, fries /onion rings with fresh ingredients? Check out Charley’s! Will be back again. We ordered: Corn nuggets X Project with extra hot anything and blue cheese; double meet /onion rings Cheeseburger with all the toppings, fries hand cut Yum!!! Don’t wait. Give them a try.
