So we order 3 burger and fries last night on our way to go out to the movie. We order it to go. And when we went to eat our burgers they had mushrooms on them all of them. Checked the receipt did not have mushrooms on the order. Seeing how we all HATE mushrooms burgers they went in the trash. $ 30 for an order of fries was all we ate. Very disappointed i DON’T think i will go here again. Just don’t understand how we all got the nasty mushrooms on our burgers.

This is one of the best five guys I have been to. The food was excellent and the service was great. I love that I can get hot sauce on my burger. Also love their drink machine with tons of options. Great French fries and an amazing burger. Want more can you ask.

How many burger joints does Hulen need? You got Red Robin across the street, Kincaids, In & Out, and Fuddruckers around the corner. Another quick and simple meal. They have little burgers and burgers. The little has one patty and the burgers have two. It’s a decent burger, however they need to acquire some swiss or pepperjack cheese besides American… or maybe it’s cheddar? They have plenty of toppings for free to choose from, but I rather have swiss cheese with my mushroom on a burger. My kids love the cheese dogs. They are pretty good. They also have cajun fries and regular fries. Eat some peanuts while you wait.

Awesome burger just how I wanted it :-) tender juicy and flavorful. This is a bit pricey but worth it.

I really don’t understand the hype over this place they don’t have the best burger or fries and the prices are very steep. I mean you can get better and cheaper food in the dfw area just about anywhere else.

It doesn’t look much from the outside, and the way your meal is packaged is quite sloppy, but all that aside, it’s a good burger. I do think it’s a little pricey for what it is though, two burgers, two fries and two small drinks came to over $ 30. I’d come back here, but with that kind of price tag, there are better places out there.

Just like the one in downtown Fort Worth, great food and atmosphere. I can see me getting fat now, ugh. This place is way to close home.

Food taste pretty good. Let me just mainly list the cons of this place. –food: Bun is not warmmed or toasted and seems to be a bit old(dried out). –Price is a bit steep for the overall meal(burger, fries, drink) –They package your food in a sloppy way. Would I go back… maybe. But only if someone else I was with wanted to try it… me going there by myself, on my own accord, no.

holy crap i love five guys and this one is no exception! (lol, this would have been in all caps but somehow Unilocal has a way to undo that which i guess makes sense on their part.)

Great burger but priced a little high. Charlie’s old fashioned burgers for a better deal.

I’d rather have Red Robin. So much more appetizing than shoving the sloppy Five Guys down my throat. Bun was soggy. Fries were soggy. Kind of weird that they’d make me wait ten minutes to cook it up, and then give it to me limp. Apparently it got that way from the sauce. Sorry, but I don’t need five guys. I just need one guy… to do it correctly… please.

I love burgers!!! I mean who doesn’t right? well I guess vegetarians are out on that one lol. I like to try different places in town because I have been searching for a place that has really good burgers. I like home style taste and it’s hard to find. I make a really good burger at home but it’s nice to go somewhere and just grab one. The staff is always friendly and fast. I love the fact that you can get A1 sauce. The burger is really good and with that being said I have one complaint. I take my burger to go and they wrap it in foil. That is a no no as far as I am concerned. The foil makes the bread soggy!!! Why why do they use foil? Oh and the fries are good homemade taste. I think next time I will just request that they wrap it in paper. :)

Five guys is a real gem in the quick serve category. Their«little» cheeseburger is a full meal. If you come with somebody be sure to split an order of their amazing fries. Huge wedges of potato greatness. The small order can easily feed a medium sized family. This location has the fancy coke fountain machine with like 9,000 potential drinks. Bottom line: Great burgers and fries.

Pretty legit place. Loved them when I lived Austin. My co– worker, John Dorian thinks they’re bland; this coming from a guy that hates recycling and that oil is going to be here forever.

I find that burger places all seem to have their own qualities. It just depends on what you are looking for. I general don’t go into restaurants and compare them with other restaurants. This is not burger King, it’s not Sonic and it’s not In N Out. They they don’t used processed meats with God knows what else mixed in with it, they cut and fry real potatoes they don’t buy tons of frozen processed potatoes dipped in formaldehyde and sugar to make them crisp and brown. They don’t slap frozen rounds of mystery meat onto the grill but rather hand make their hamburger patties fresh with real beef. Those who make their comparisons to other fast food places have grown up with the over seasoned, fat & chemical laden mystery meat and say that real food has no flavor. I hate putting chemicals in my body and refuse for the most part to eat processed foods so my burger today actually tasted like a burger should, rather than what you can get at other fast food places. I love that they have malt vinegar for the fries. I think it would help their fries if they didn’t put them into a bag right away, maybe have trays for people eating inside so we could really enjoy the fries when they come right out of the fryer. I also appreciate that they use peanut oil and not canola oil which is a made up name for rapeseed oil and oil known to strip the shield off your nerves. Most of the fast food places use canola. In addition, each person working there took the time to say hello and engage me in conversation. Having come from San Diego three years ago, I couldn’t wait for In N Out to open last year, but in the mean time someone introduced me to 5 Guys and I was in heaven. I do on occasion enjoy an In N Out burger, and they are definitely cheaper, but with 5 Guys they’ve met their match cost not considered.

There weren’t exactly five guys from what I could tell, more like just a couple, and they each seemed dialed into the same idea: churn out some made to order but tall by way of smallish circumference burgers with fresh fixins, keep the line moving, speak to each patron personally. And let me go on record as noting that I really love the latter on that list. They do a fine job here of engaging with their clientele, and they want you to know who they are, that they’re accessible. It’s a nod to the age we’re in, and I seems to me Five Guys has embraced that ethos full bore As has no doubt been reported, Five Guys doesn’t charge for fixins and you get the chance to choose from the pouperie as result. Fries come steaming off the fryalator and can be rather dangerous as they first hit the table. Be aware. But ultimately, they do a reasonably job of responding to the marketplace. It’s not a perfect situation, but it’s it’s a start. And in the interim I’m not a stranger to not having everything sorted just yet. And this is where it helps to have work assembling quick gift bags. Check it you haven’t been in in a pinch recently. They’re likely ready.

Consistently a great burger… probably one of the best for fast food. Be warned that the regular burger is a double and the fries are enough for two people. All of the toppings are free and the p

Is this place supposed to be famous? The burgers are mediocre, tasting just like a regular old burger slapped together from anywhere, except that it costs $ 10. You can put whatever you want on it, but it’s all the usual suspects, onion, pickles, tomatoes, grilled mushrooms. And the fries… taste awful. Undercooked, and tasteless. Whoever made them doesn’t understand that fries need salt. And they need to be FRIED. The fries I received were soggy and overseasoned with cajun seasoning. It smelled really good, but had zero taste. Until you pick one up that was overseasoned, then it was like eating a can of cajun seasoning with a wet, soggy, limp potato middle. Definitely not impressed.

I’m probably in the minority here. But Five Guys Burgers being good has been in hot contention within my circle of friends now a days. Looks like they’ve expanded throughout the country, as they just opened a few in my hometown in Southern California. I couldn’t pass up the chance to try Five Guys since I’ve been told its beaten my hometown favorite In N Out in some surveys. Well In N Out it isn’t. Be warned that a «regular» hamburger or cheeseburger is actually a «double», with double the meat. I should have gone with a «little cheeseburger», which I would assume is a single. Fair enough, wish it had said that somewhere. I got it «all the way» with: mayo, relish, onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard. Extras upon request are: Jalapeño Peppers, green peppers, A-1 Sauce, BBQ sauce or hot sauce. I asked about the fries and the friendly cashier said I should try their cajun fries that have a kick, but are«so good». After paying almost $ 9 for a meal without a soda, I was thinking to myself that this better be good!!! But sadly I was disappointed. All I could taste in the burger was cheap cheese. I was excited for the grilled onions and mushrooms… I love me some grilled onions… and mushrooms?!! That should be a bonus. But I could hardly taste them… again, the cheese was just that overwhelming. The fries were so salty I couldn’t even finish them. I could swear I heard or read a Five Guys catch phrase«Five Guys knows fries» Are they frozen? Because they were soggy and weren’t cooked all the way through. So disappointed. I don’t think they’re that… bad. I’m almost inclined to think it fell short of my expectations, because I love In N Out that much. Why the comparison I have no clue. The burger tasted like an over-glorified burger from Wendy’s. *shrugs* I might be back to try a hot dog.

I kept hearing about this place from my little cousin. I dont know if you can imagine an 8 year old rambling about a burger place like it was the new Chuck E. Cheese. So I tried it out after work one day and since it was new in town, I believe I wasn’t the only curious person as it was pretty busy. It’s pretty fast paced inside. The employees were constantly moving around as busy as it was they weren’t rude what so ever. I did order just a Cheeseburger with BBQ sauce but they forgot to put any on my burger :(. Its cool though Maybe it wasn’t in my cards for that day, it was a sign I’m sure. The burger was a double patty(which is default here) and a bit greasy but it was still good. I’d go back again
