Food was ok. Environment is definitely not kid friendly. Was unaware that it was primarily a bar. Fish sandwich was a bit dry.

The food is great. Home cook type. Can be noisy and crowded but will seat quickly. Food comes hot. Large menu choices. Lots of regulars there.

Hubby & I came here for on a Saturday night ‘date’ in an attempt to get away from the usual PSL nightlife. By 10 p.m. it was definitely ‘locals only’. Not a bad place. Cute little neighborhood«Florida Cracker/Key West» type dive… I mean that in the nicest way. Definitely a hang out for the older crowd & it seemed like everybody knew everybody. Very casual laid back kinda place. Pretty small place with 6 tables for 4 and 3 tables for 6 and 2 pool tables. Service was good, food was the typical fried fare or raw bar or sandwiches & wings. Great choice of appetizers with 18 to choose from! Yeah, we’ll come back.

SUMMATION: Seems like a famous, local eatery for the mature set. However, it is very friendly with very good service and food at reasonable prices. The décor is entertaining. We decided to drop in on a whim as we hadn’t been here in over a decade and recently moved around the corner from it. We came in on a busy Thursday which is open mic night and the place was packed. Aside from an overworked server and not being able to converse due to the volume of the band, everything else was pretty enjoyable.

Read all of the reviews and thought we would try it matter where you come from it is a drive to get there, what a waste of time for us! We decided to try them and it was before the dinner crowd and after the lunch crowd. i wish I could tell you we nailed it. We walked in, no one greeted us and they seems like they could care less. We seated ourselves ten minutes lasted a waitress came over and took our drink orders. We waited and waited and still our waitress never came back, she seem preoccupied with the computer register and doing other things. After waiting at least 10 minutes more and other customers come in and and get waited on by another waitress we left and went to Tillmans down the road, which by the way was excellent *******! I do hope the owner of Joe’s reads this and takes appropriate action otherwise they will not only be there another 23 years they won’t be around next year when we come back.

I went to high school in Vero and this place stands alone as my #1 favorite hideout whenever I visit. I always order conch chowder, it is served in a red sauce, is a little spicy and so die-for delicious. I then order hot wings, a crispy and delicious favorite. And one must ALWAYS enjoy pineapple fritters for dessert. Dont waste time debating this, just do it. I cant wait for my next visit home just to stop in here.

This place is special. Pineapple fritters are to die for, and I haven’t been there in a minute, but if Cajun chicken pasta is on the menu, order it! Also, the wings are on point. I really love the atmosphere of this place, something about it just makes me… Happy, warm and gooey. The pool tables are a plus as well. I wish I didn’t live so far away, I’d return often.

Not bad, not bad. Interesting little place. Small dining area with full bar and get this: two pool tables.(who knew?) I had the fried mahi sandwich and it was HUGE. Three huge pieces of mahi with lettuce and tomato and served with tartar sauce. Pitcher of beer was equally as good and was $ 8.00.

Great little dive on US1 if you’re not looking for anything fancy. The specials are pretty good and the appetizers are well above average. Otherwise kind of bar food.

Live real close and never even really noticed Pineapple Joes one day my wife and I decided to stop in for a bite and wow! Okay, yes the wait it long sometimes but man it is worth it! The staff is über friendly and the food is great, might I suggest the Ruben or burger! And those homemade potato chips are the best I have ever had hands down, no questions asked! Say to Mabel for me!

Spent New Years here. Great drinks, fun, party favors, all wonderful. Snacks were fine, food not great… edible, inexpensive. Check it out, usually busy, local crowd mostly.

Ok so this is not my «cup of tea» but I really cant complain about the service. It’s a little old and dark, the menu is limited but the pineapple fritters were very good. I’m not a Karaoki fan so I guess walking in on this didnt help but some of them could really sing!

Cheap drinks. There’s a regular live band that is pretty decent. 2 pool tables. Food is OK, mostly apps and seafood though.

Went here with my son and his girlfriend who live in the area — we were vacationing here. The atmosphere was fun and casual and service friendly and efficient. The food was excellent — my husband had grilled catfish, which he really enjoyed and I had blackened tilapia which was excellent. My son is a regular here and both he and his girlfriend had something I’ve forgotten but they both loved it. Highly recommend this kind of off the beaten path restaurant.

My husband and I went in for dinner. The wait for the service was EXTREMELY long, but SOOOO worth it. My husband has eaten there many times for lunch with co-workers and said that the long wait is mostly normal. I had home made Shepard’s Pie and my husband had his usual, the wings. The food was fantastic and the service was very friendly. there was a three piece band playing 60’s and 70’s covers and I have to say they were the best cover band I have heard in a long time! I recommend Pineapple Joe’s to everyone and we will be going back soon.
