Wow, what a great beer selection. Even had some local brews from our area in Michigan. Waitstaff was friendly and very helpful with the large number and variety of beverages. We shared some sushi, cheese covered fries, Asian calamari, wontons, and Mahi nuggets, they all were great. Seating is good with bar stools, high and low tables. Not a huge place but didn’t have to wait for seating.

I was walking by and one of the workers yelled outside the door and said«don’t go out to eat if you can’t tip» Probably not the best reaction if a customer does that…

Great Brew! Great Burgers! and More If you go here for the beer selection, you won’t be disappointed. With over 50 craft beers on tap(a list that changes every so often to keep things interesting) any serious beer connoisseur will have a field day! Not sure which one to have with dinner? The friendly and knowledgeable staff(shout-out particularly to Marisa) will let you try s few contenders so you can pick your favorite. The biggest surprise here is the food! The House of Brewz is worth coming to just for the moist and mouth-watering Bar-burgers and the unique Hellbound Cheese Fries — Perfectly done fries topped with Hellbound Beer Cheese, jalapenos, bacon, scallions and ranch dressing. These fries alone are«Food-Channel-Worthy» However, Surprise! Surprise! This place is not simply the best bar fare that my wife and I tried while we were down here in lovely Fort Myers Beach. The House of Brewz shares space with one of the best Sushi restaurants I have ever been to: Zushi Zushi. Therefore you also have access to another great type of beer-friendly cuisine. I don’t know who thought of combining these two exciting restaurants… but it was genius!

Nice little pit stop at the beach. Excellent and vast selection of brews, I recommend the kentucky bourbon barrel ale! They ran out of bread bowls for the spinach artichoke dip, but it was still tasty. Fun and quirky atmosphere!

So glad we found this place! Great beer selection and super friendly service. The beer fondue fries are above and beyond and you absolutely have to order them. My fish and chips were perfect, as were the sides. The husband loved the tuna poke, although the presentation made it a bit challenging to eat. Let’s hope that we will be coming here for years to come.

While on vacation, we came in for sushi lunch, but were pleasantly surprised to find the brewery attached. We were told sit on either side and order from either menu. We were greeted shortly after by the bartender Birch(like the tree). We quickly found that his attention to detail with each of his customers was worth any wait a customer may have. He asked a few questions regarding types of beers we typically liked, then made a couple recommendations of choices for us to try. Each of us really enjoyed the beers we selected. For sushi he told us about his favorites and customer faves as well. We tried several of the sushi rolls, and loved every single one of them. I loved the dangoon roll! We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night as well for more beers! We followed many of Birch’s recommendations and were not at all disappointed! We also had the fondue in a bread bowl. It was a tasty treat. I’ve got to admit though, we have a pretty high expectation for service(having previously worked in the service/bar industry for several years) and this was one of the few times I was actually amazed by the quality of service we received(specifically from Birch). If you’re looking for great beers, quality service, and good food… go see Birch. Don’t go in a hurry, you’ll only be doing yourself a disservice as his service is well worth taking your time! The quality of care he gives the customers he’s helping, he’ll give that to you too! I only wish I lived closer, I’d definitely frequent it more often– maybe I’ll move there! :)

Very cool place. We stayed directly behind the bar at the Shipwreck motel and walked here. They have an excellent selection of beers. I tried a couple of the samplers which consists of three 8oz brews. We ordered the Asian calamari which was excellent. We also got a sushi lobster roll which was also excellent. The brewery has a great menu and you can also order from the Sushi restaurant which shares the building. We would definitely go back.

The place to go if you want something other than Bud Light, Miller Lite etc. Extensive Draft selection, even more extensive bottle selection. Full liquor shelf also and I did spy a bottle of McCallan 12 year if yer into that kinda thing.;)

I had the caprese salad. One of the best I’ve ever had! I even went back the next day for more! Cordial staff. Helpful and courteous. I don’t drink it I saw a lot of different beers available. Many many different beers. Great place!

We visited at lunchtime on a Sunday and were pleased to find somewhere that wasn’t teeming with people in swimsuits. The food was surprisingly fresh and tasty! My husband had the pork Cuban, which he enjoyed, but the fries were especially good — I suspect they were beer battered, and maybe fried twice. Yum! I had a Caesar salad, which was fresh and crunchy but not memorable on its own, topped with fried shrimp, which were very flavorful. Service was wonderful — Birch the bartender was attentive and funny, and gave excellent beer recommendations. I would definitely eat here again!

Several of us on vacation visited House of Brewz to celebrate several birthdays. We arrived around 8pm. I admit that our group was large with 17 in attendance, however there was only one other table of patrons in the establishment. The service was extremely slow. While waiting for drinks we would see our waitress behind the bar folding napkins. Heck, it took 30 minutes just to get a water. We ordered several shots and while they were good, it just took too long for them to arrive. To add insult to injury this bar on the beach closed at 10pm.

This review is only for the Fort Myers Beach location. I have separate reviews for the Gulf Coast Town Center Location. Our party of six(plus baby in stroller) arrived at approximately 630pm on a Tuesday night, out of season(July 8– Fourth of July week). We were seated immediately on the left side of the restaurant, which I thought was the sushi side only, but apparently not. The restaurant brags that it has 150 beers on tap. «Flights» are available for $ 8.25 for three large samples. We ordered three flights. The server had to return three times because the beers we ordered weren’t available. She was great, but was getting very frustrated(who could blame her?) and her good attitude began waning. When our beers finally arrived it was a great time. However, they don’t label the flights! She just gave them to us with the ticket. That was incredibly confusing, and when we asked about the beer labels they usually have, the server acted confused and somewhat annoyed. How can a place called«House of Brewz» that advertises 150 beers on draft not understand how flights are served?! Anyways… The beer fondue fries are EPIC. Seriously. Go here just for the beer fondue fries. The other food(onion rings, boneless buffalo wings, spinach artichoke dip) was good, too. Overall, decent service(especially if you don’t order flights), fast seating out of season, and good apps. But they seriously need to work on their beer availability and flight delivery.

Lots of Brewz! Most from Florida breweries. You are able to sample any taps before buying. Lots of bottled selections as well. Bartenders knowledgable on flavors and tastes. Able to find something for everyone! Also served food from both its own menu and the sushi joint next door. Didn’t order but a couple next to us at the bar did and it looked and smelled amaze!!!

Nothing bad to say about this place. It was kinda empty for some reason but the beers were great with a wide selection on tap. Food was beyond good and worth the extra couple minutes it took the kitchen to make. The staff was very helpful and honest about which beers you may or may not enjoy as everyone has different tastes. Perfect first night down here!

Excellent food and great beer, but the lack of adequate service seriously hindered out dining experience. We waited over a half hour for our food, and the server did not ask if we needed anything else. We waited so long on refills that one of us had to get it from the bar — 10 minutes later and even that beer hadn’t been brought. The place was not even very busy.

Visited this place a few weeks back on a Saturday afternoon hunting for a good beer spot on the beach. Bingo! The moment you walk up you realize this place knows its beer, with flyers in the windows advertising the seasons most limited, i.e., BCBS. The interior décor is what you’d expect from a craft beer joint, not a dive but nothing fancy. I opted to sit at the bar and was greeting by what seemed to be the manager or at least head bartender as he was very knowledgable about the beers in stock, of which they had over 50 on draft! Its always great to meet a fellow beer lover and this guy was exactly that, spitting out recommendations left and right based on what I told him to be some personal favorites. The reason this place gets five stars from me was his service as well as the amount of limited beers they had in stock, including draft which is even rarer. I have never been to a craft beer bar with a better selection of beers, from the super limited to the absolutely obscure, and thats saying a lot. I WILLDEFINITELYBEBACK.
