It’s Saturday I decided to ride my bike out to the beach and have a beer. So I decided I would stop by Hurricane Tina’s where I have been before as well as some of my local friends. The sign out front said happy hour from 3 – 7 so I asked my waitress what the special was. She told me that all beers were $ 3 except bud it was $ 2. So I said ok great I will have a Kona so after having 2 Konas another girl brought me my tab and it was 11.65 for 2 Konas I said«I thought these were on happy hour» and she said no and I was upset I said that is not what I was told. So I only had $ 11 cash on me and they don’t take cards so she said we have an ATM and guess what there’s a $ 2.99 fee. So what was supposed to be 2 beers for $ 6 turned out being $ 15 all said and done. Guess what… I won’t be back and neither will any of my local friends. It’s a great location but the problem is there’s a bunch of very young girls working there with no management and they have no idea what customer service is. Best of luck to your business and I do know that your business comes from tourists and not us locals

Food was on par with what you’d except from Friendly’s. All waitresses more concerned with their friends visiting than any of the guests, but I guess that is to be expected in a place that hires 18-year-olds in spandex shorts. Only reason for any stars at all is the drink specials.

Good wings. Good burgers. Veggie wrap same price as a shrimp wrap? Veggie wrap not good. French fry overload like most places. Small place with only around 4 parking spots. Bathroom not in service due to spring breakers, as the sign made of toilet paper stated(classy). Canned sodas. Condiments in packets.

Great burgers, very friendly staff. Dogs allowed outside. Right on the beach with table umbrellas for shade. Great beach place!

Worst food on the island. Don’t waste your time stopping here. Not only was the food bad but the drinks were HORRIBLE!!! Don’t be fooled by the beach sitting area… just keep walking.

Lizabell was the best bartender! This place was SO fun and everyone was SO friendly. They were so affordable and inexpensive. Let us control the music and TV. If you wanna have a good time, I recommend coming here!

The awesome looking Bloody Mary in the Unilocal pictures apparently doesn’t exist. Mine had a lemon and two olives. Oh, and the Tropical Storm girls don’t exist either I guess. They do have really loud, crappy country music that drowns out the sound of the waves. So, if you hate good looking ladies, the sound of the ocean, and great Bloody Mary’s then this is your place.

Very disappointing. Hardly any food left in the kitchen And what was left was sad nachos with many of the ingredients missing. Would not recommend this place unless you are just drinking and watching the sunset.

This was the first time and last time I will ever eat there. Service was absolutely horrible, I had to keep reminding the waitress for my drinks. Also the food was not good, worse chicken tacos so far. I had to wait to eat my food because my wife’s buffalo chicken sandwich was ten minutes late to the table.

This was our first time here and it is a great spot on the beach. The best part is that we found a parking spot next to the buiding and were able to bring our dog. We were excited that they are pet friendly! There are about 4 free parking spaces if you are there to eat. There are a few seats on the deck but only a few covered and several picnic tables down on the sand a with umbrellas if needed. We sat for a while before getting service(but that’s normal for beach restaurants unfortunately) and finally went to get our own drinks but no one came by with menus until we asked. That was not a great first impression but once we got the attention of the server he was pretty good, he even brought the dog some water. The kids ordered fish sandwiches and chicken quesadillas which they devoured. The seasoned fries were tasty. We also ordered some hot wings and the sweeter Thai flavored wings. We love wings and are always looking for a wing place so are really happy to have found Hurricane Tina’s. The music was relaxing and not too loud which made for an enjoyable afternoon. There is a buy one get one happy hour 3 – 7 for domestic drafts which made it even better!

The beach location is fanstastic. Very close to the downtown beach, in perfect view of the waves crashing in. The food is decent, the Cat5 nachos are HUGE and really awesome. Most of their portions are large. The biggest problem is that it is a tiny little shack on the beach with no indoor seating and only a 1 man grill. So if there is a crowd(happens often) it takes a long long time for your food and you have to endure the sun and whatever elements are thrown at you. The parking lot in front charges 8 dollars, but if you mention you are going to Hurricane Tinas they generally let you pay only 5.

Pretty okay food for the most part. We got a Groupon deal so it wasn’t a bad experience. This is the only restaurant that had good service while we were here on vacation though so that was a big plus. We got blackened grouper which had no flavor but the texture of the fish was very good. The rum runners were good as well

Great place RIGHT on the beach! The chicken nachos were amazing! I had the shrimp wrap which was wonderful. Our solo waitress did an excellent job. Definitely will return.

Waited over 2 hours for their special $ 2/tacos and drink specials! Terrible service! Watered down frozen sugar drinks and their food will give you gut rot for two days!

Awesome food. We had nachos and fried shrimp. Nachos were huge and the shrimp were great. Big Bang for your buck. Nice waitress also.

I found myself stuck in Ft Myers Beach traffic. I was hungry and tired from a day of travel. I’m used my Unilocal app and tried to steer myself to a good place to stop and eat. To be honest, I never found any of the places I was looking for(I blame a lack of signs on the road…) and I ended up here… Not a bad place to wind up! Beer was 2 for 1, and they had a two-piece band playing! I found a table on the small patio and enjoyed my view of the ocean while I looked over the menu. Of course, I ordered wings. They have several sauces to choose from including the traditional and some not-so-traditional options, like teriyaki, and Thai. I went with the traditional«hot,» as I usually do. The wings were just okay, but I enjoyed myself so much here that I would visit again. P. S. Hurricane Tina’s is pet friendly!

Great wings! The prices were relatively cheap and the service was great! It’s located right on the beach so it ends up being a wonderful pit stop/happy hour place to go!

My husband and I tried several dishes here after not eating for almost 24 hours. We got the mozzarella sticks and buffalo chicken potato skins to start. They were both delicious and full of flavor. They also came out fresh and hot. They have a great happy hour menu with various beers on tap and appetizers for $ 5. My husband ordered the big booty burger(lol), that is a 10 oz burger garnished with onion rings and fried shrimp on it. He also got the curly fries for a $ 1 up charge. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread with fries. The bread was a bit heavy for me so I ended up eating just the tenders, but it still tasted great. We got a beer and water to drink. The water only comes in $ 3 bottles; I’d recommend getting a beer or other beverage instead. We bought a whole case of water for $ 3. As far as service, it was a little slow at times. We didn’t get our bill for a while after we were done eating. Our waitress was very nice though. My favorite thing about this place is the view! You’re sitting right on the beach with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. I couldn’t get over the sun and seagulls, it was so beautiful and relaxing. Also, they only have 4 parking spaces, one of which is handicap parking only. We called ahead to make sure they had spots available, as most people walk there. Overall, we had a great time and will likely come back!

This is a really confusing place. I tried to eat lunch here and was not able to get the job done. I walked up the stairs to an open business with servers. One came up to me and told me they did not open till 4pm. OK but why are all the windows open? Why are all the tables ready and why was the rope that goes across the stairs to signify you are closed not hung up. Why was your portable sign up? Why didn’t you post somewhere you did not open till 4 pm. I don’t even know what type of business you are trying to be. Are you just a bar that only opens at 4? Or are you a burger and wing place? Or just a place to drink. Oh and one final question why did I see all the tables taken at 2:30 and you were closed?
