KFC

Food was what I expected, but restaurant was a mess, non-​functional bathroom and ice machine, and certain areas of service needed improvement. Had to wait 10 mins to get service, while the female employee at the cash register carried on a conversation with some guy sitting by the window, that had nothing to do with any order. There were 2 or 3 clear plastic bags of garbage on the floor of the dining area that sat there for ten mins before they were removed. Some of the table tops were obviously not wiped clean. The ice component of the soft drink dispensing machine was broken, so the staff person said «Oh we don’t have any ice right now.» How can you operate a restaurant without ice? Also, the men’s bathroom was out of order (health code violation?), something wrong with the toilet, and staff were working on it with the bathroom door wide open, so everybody sitting at dining tables could eat their meals while staring into the bathroom at a (clogged?) toilet. Made the food extra appetizing. And then you had your Fort Lee teenagers coming in to take turns using the women’s bathroom (no purchase, of course). Won’t go back to this restaurant again. Definitely a badly managed KFC and very unpleasant dining experience.

I have been here about 5 times or so. Pretty good tasty junk food but my body is not digging the greasy cholesterol attacks anymore. At our recent and possibly last visit, my wife found not 1 but 3 pieces of hair in the chicken without even trying to look. Imagine how many we did not find?..

I’ve lived in fort Lee for most of my life and I ate KFC here ever since I became a resident. I’ve seen the workers here come and go but one worker named Kyra is the worst thing that happened to this place. I understand that KFC would hire pretty much anyone but how the fuck do you expect me to communicate with someone who look high all the time and cannot speak English. This chick mumbled a paragraph and I still didn’t know what the fuck she was talking about. I’m not trying to be a mean guy but KFC you really need to choose your workers more wisely.

This place is horrid. Grease was still dripping from chicken that soomed fried hours ago. Stay away from this place.

Worst JFC/​Taco Bell I’ve ever been to since I was a kid. They charge you to swap beef for beans, when no other TB has before in the county. The staff is rude, unhygienic, rude, and «Ratchet». No one is trained and cares for swift «FAST FOOD». They did not have forks or utensils out, so I got up to ask for one and was told to wait really loudly and harshly in front of a long lunch line of customers. The staff was giving away free food to their relatives. There was cheese everywhere, on tables and the floor.
They do not properly make the good according to Franchise foodchain recipes, and do not know their own menu. Not clean.
Do not go. Don’t waste your money.

This review is AFTER they took down the place for a renovation, and completely gutted the place after decades. ABOUT TIME! There used to be R… ches in the pictures!
Did they fix the place and make it look nice? CHECK
Did they RETRAIN THE STAFF or hire more faster staff? NEGATIVE
Did they IMPROVE WAIT TIMES? NEGATIVE
Can they get a 2 pc chicken order or a SINGLE taco order out right or quickly? NEGATIVE
I’ve given the place some slack, since it was old and I felt it had to build on the moral of the staff working there. But this place is BRAND NEW, rebuilt. The people should have been RETRAINED. If you have EVER been to this KFC, especially at DINNER time, you can WAIT 30 MINUTES ! (NO LIE) for your order to be given to you. Tonight was no different. There was literally 10 couples waiting 20+ mins. I literally saw one lady with her KFC chicken ready wait for 35+ mins, while she waited on ONE TACO and not until 35 mins later did the manager scream in the back to get the one taco to her was she «GIVEN THE RIGHT TO LEAVE!»
There was another customer who was waiting on 2 simple tacos, and he waited 15+ mins. Another customer complained his order was not done for 20+ mins, his chicken was ready but there was NO COLE SLAW to give him!
They have these nice tables and cubby holes for sauces and the like for Taco Bell, but guess what, THEY DONT HAVE ANY SAUCES because they NEVER ORDERED IT! All the cubby holes are EMPTY. You can have your take at free napkins to wipe your tears while you wait and wait and wait (JUST LIKE OLD TIMES EH?)
The new «IMPROVED» section which holds the chicken was not well though out enough or they just didnt have enough chicken, because they had to constantly refill it, and then it was empty again. Have you ever see the Popeyes on teaneck road? Have you see the spread and the length and width they hold their chicken?
They also put this round table for standing room directly behind the cash registers where the line USED to wrap. So this monster is completely in the way now and there is no way for a line to form properly. The tables in there was also literred with Taco meat and chesse and no one cleaned it.
Also, while this entire fiasco was going on with people working. A single worker (manager?) was standing in the back watching the whole entire thing blowing ballons up (for what?) — why not get behing the counter while it is busy and lend a hand.
I never understood who owned this place, if they really care, do they care. But they must care a little because they renovated the place and invested the money into that. NOW RETRAIN YOUR STAFF or HIRE COMPLETELY NEW STAFF. They are inefficient, lazy or at worse, not trained. If you don’t believe this review, review your video footage of around 7 – 8:30 pm today and see if ANY of your customers DID NOT LEAVE WITH A FRUSTRATED and ANGRY face tonight. Its been this way at this establishment for years, WAIT WAIT WAIT, WRONG, and more WAITING. and nothing has changed.

We all know how the food tastes like. This is your typical place except the restaurant is dingier and service here is extremely slow. If the managers are around, this place is better run.
Unfortunately, this place is the only one around.

I love fried chicken, but my appetite disappears when I think about going to this KFC. The last time I went, I made the mistake of using the rest room. I almost threw up my meal. I will spare you by not going into detail, but it was the worst (#1 on my list) in terms of dirtiest restaurants I’ve ever been to… and I’ve been to some dirty restaurants.
Also, on top of this, my kid was given an expired string cheese in his kids’ meal. When I approached an employee to point it out, they had the gall to claim that the date on the package was the manufacture date. It wasn’t.
I will never go back to this establishment again.

although I agree for the most part with the other reviewers I’ve had great chicken here and I also did have some bad experience as well but I had one great experience. So yes it is a hit or miss but when i do get a craving for kfc it hits the spot finger licking good

I give this place two stars only because the guy taking my order was really nice. The food is what you would expect from any other chain. I would only come here out of convenience.

This KFC also includes a Taco Bell which doesn’t help the fact this place is so bad. The food is what you would expect since it is a franchise with all your Taco Bell and KFC favorites.
What you wouldn’t expect is how unsanitary this place is. I would go as far to sat that this is the dirtiest restaurant in all of Fort Lee.
During one visit, we saw the roof was leaking right in front of the soda dispenser! Two words can describe this, annoying and gross! Gave the place a second chance and as we sat down to eat, I saw a small bug crawling on my friend’s hard taco wrapper. Fortunately he finished his meal but who knows if one of those little buggers slipped by in to his taco.
The staff is hit or miss. I personally believe that they realize what a dump this place has become and wonder why people would eat here.
Until there are drastic changes, I highly advise not coming here even if that means an extra 10 minutes of driving to somewhere else.
By the way, there is no drive-​thru!
