Andy’s Shoe Repair

I usually support local Korean businesses being a Korean myself. But this place is ridiculous in their pricing model. I brought a pair of $ 400 Frye boots to be cleaned and to repair the heel, which is priced at $ 40. I also wanted them to clean my Tory Burch bag, which she quoted me $ 50! And this bag is cheaper than my boots! They were only going to clean the outside, but she didn’t bother to explain why and was rude about it when I inquired further.
This place lacks pleasant customer service and have no etiquette. They seem to rest on their laurels and think they have enough customers to scorn on newer customers. Move on and find a better place!

I actually had a pretty good experience at Andy’s. I was hesitant to try them after such bad reviews — but the location is really convenient for me & I finally started using them.
In the past month he has reheeled & resoled about 20 pairs of shoes for me & they all came out ok. The prices are decent. The turnaround time is pretty quick & they were always nice enough.
I will keep using them based on my experiences so far.

Do NOT go! I have been going to this shoe repair place for almost 20 years. I have no idea why except that I was too lazy to find a new one. It’s on and off so I guess I would forget how unpleasant the owner and workers are, but this last experience is undoubtedly my last experience at this dump. The curly haired owner is not just unfriendly but downright rude. I have brought over fifty pairs of shoes there and several bags to fix over the many years I’ve been a customer, yet not once has he mustered a smile or a hello. He messed up by changing perfectly fine heels on my boots instead of the front worn out part, but neither apologized or cared when I told him. I didn’t even ask him to fix it (they charge an arm and a leg by the way for subpar service), so an apology would have been nice. He has this slightly younger sidekick underling that works for him and I guess he only learns from the best because he has a dirty attitude too. He yelled at me because I asked if he gave me my credit card back before he was ready to fling it on the counter. Ridiculous. They are nasty, over-​priced, and untalented at best. I repeat do NOT go…

Very nasty place. I will never recommend this place to anyone. period
