My wife and I happened to find this place on accident and we are definitely glad we did. We both ordered the Mixed Grill Plate with Couscous and it was delicious. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. It was just the two of us eating in there with a few customers stopping in for take orders. We tried the Baklava for desert and the mint tea, both were excellent. We will be back for sure to try his Kefta and other dishes.

We’ve gone to this place for falafel probably about six different times. The odd thing about this place is it’s different every time we go. Every time we order falafel pita, and every time it’s prepared and arranged differently. Sometimes with hummus, sometimes white sauce, sometimes open faced, or maybe wrapped. It’s kinda odd, but the food has always been consistently really good so it is what it is.

This is the best panini I’ve ever had. I’ve been on this planet for decades and am just now enjoying the perfect panini! Awesome.

I love this place and I love the owner! He remembers your name after the first time we came(although our cravings led us there a week later) he even remembered our orders. I asked about the dessert and he let me take two home to try, holy sh** they were amazing. I always get falafel and it’s always super fresh. Usually he’s there by himself and sometimes with his wife during the day. This is truly a hidden gem that my bf and I found. He was really busy doing a one man show on a Friday(I think) and it still only took 15 mins top to get our meals to the table.

Not only did they cancel my order 20 minutes after it had been placed, I have to wait up to 5 days for my money to be refunded. The reason they gave for canceling my order? «The restaurant is closing early today.» Placed my order around 7:40p. Place closes normally at 9p. Got my cancelation notification at 8pm. Fool me once. …

Very tasty food, with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The service is good, but if you’re looking for fancy, this is not the place.

Came across this little gem while my mom was having surgery across the street at Holy Cross hospital. The reviews looked amazing, so my and my sis gave it a whirl. First off, the owner was super nice and helpful. It’s a relatively small restaurant. But don’t let its size fool you. It packs a punch. There were dozens of take out orders lined up, but the owner made sure to help us as well(as we were dining in). Let’s get down to food. We ordered grape leaves to start. Comes 4 to an order. Not sure if included, or the owner just felt bad for our tired eyes, but he added some tzatziki, hummus and this amazing homemade hot sauce concoction and pita bread. It was so flavorful. We then shared the lamb and eggplant platter. Comes with salad, pita, tzatziki, hummus and that hot sauce again. The lamb was melt in your mouth amazing. And the eggplant… Let’s talk about this eggplant. If the lamb melted, this just dissolved… Into every little taste bud I have. We loved it so much, we ordered take out the next day! This time I tried their gyro. Just as amazing. And that hot sauce… It’s just scrumptious! Make sure to check this place out ASAP!!!

I lived in Israel 8 years, and this by far is the best Middle Eastern food I have ever eaten in my life. The owner puts his heart and soul and love into every portion of food which she serves. The food is wonderfully seasoned, the falafel are moist, and all I can say is that I am thrilled to have found a place three minutes away from my home. I am vegan and there are several vegan selections on the menu as well as vegetarian so there is something for everyone here.

Returned while visiting family and happy to say this place was as great as the first time. We were in area for several days and ate here twice. Highly recommend the falafel pita and the appetizer sampler — hummos, tzeki(sp?), and stuffed squash were delicious. Also had the baklava for dessert — sweet decadence!

Super friendly and the food is delish. Mostly can only make it for lunch so cannot speak to dinner fare. Overall I enjoy hanging outside to eat but will grab it to go as well. They do offer pick up and delivery.

Horrible! I ordered a falafel platter and got 3 falafels, also they were tiny and not even a snack. How cheap can you be!

Did a quick pit stop one day, I was super hungry but did not have too much time. I ordered their Chicken Kebob Wrap and it was a hit. Fresh, delicious, good price and fast service. Can’t ask for more in this situation! Have go back to try their hummus and other dishes that looked good. I can’t give a 4 or 5 simply because I have not tried their other dishes. But I’m sure I will food looked really good!

We tried this place based on the excellent Unilocal reviews and were delighted with our experience in terms of both food quality and service quality. I ordered a mixed vegetable smoothie to start. It was great. Then I ordered the lamb gyro platter, my wife had the eggplant platter. Both were unique delicious and the portions were perfect. The owner stopped by as well and offered us some baklava to try. Although I typically don’t enjoy baklava I decided to give it a shot and was again pleased with the result. Not too sweet, not too much syrup; this was the best baklava I’ve had!

Food was good but the amount of food on the plate was for a small child. I commented to the waitress and she said maybe I should order dessert. I left there and went to burger fi for a real lunch. Will never return

So good. They prepared a special vegan platter for me after I asked what was vegan on the menu. The falafals are incredibly moist, the grape leaf rolls not too sour or bitter like others I’ve had, and very flavorful hummus. I will be back in no time!

Fresh Fresh Fresh! I wasn’t very hungry and I wanted something light so I opted for the small greek salad with feta and it was awesome. I am so glad that I came. I had lunch with my sister and she had the chicken gyro which was so fresh it melted in my mouth. Food is cooked to order and it came to the table hot out the pan. Service was friendly and pleasant. Great way to end the afternoon.

*Delicious, spicy, flavorful food; heat level adjusted for each individual entrée, by request *Reasonable prices & generous portions *Tender, juicy lamb & homemade hummus *Most scrumptious baba ghanoush in Fort Lauderdale: Smooth & creamy(instead of lumpy) served with high quality olive oil & hot, toasty pita bread *Friendly, accommodating chef, glad to modify each dish to customer’s specifications *One of my favorite sodas, Sanpellegrino Aranciata(so much yummier than Orangina) *Ample parking in private lot

We have it listed as «Pita Café» and indeed that is exactly what the big overhead sign reads on this little strip mall location, but the window sign reads«Paradise Café», others«Pita Paradise Café» or «Paradise Pita Café,» but it’s not confusing and there is no mistaken the place. Though a small«hole in the wall» operation with the wife at the cash register holding the baby and the cook, who I presume to be the proprietor doing the cooking, extremely friendly, easy going and above all helpful with suggestions and most willing to custom prepare anything he has in any fashion or way you might like it done. There are a few tables and chairs inside but two strip mall sidewalk tables and chairs in front which are shaded and since set back from Federal Highway in what is a rather unhurried location, make for a rather surprising pleasant place to eat. The cuisine offered is noted as «Mediterranean» but I find that word alone being rather elusive once you consider not only the number of countries but the vast number of cultures each with various specialized culinary tastes and talents that boarder the Mediterranean. So, ok, Mediterranean yes, but with what I say might be a more definitive Greek touch about it. I had the Greek Salad and the Eggplant special. The Greek Salad came full plate loaded with plenty of fresh crispy to the bite lettuce, good olives, dressing and feta cheese along a good pita bread, a very good hummus and what I think may have been a tzatziki sauce. The Eggplant nicely cooked, smothered in a sauce that, if I’m not mistaken was of a bean origin. All in all a rather decent meal but an experience made so much better by the friendliness of the cook. One thing for sure, I want to go back to try out their lamb. Overall a good solid 3 plus and maybe after I try it a few more times, might be inclined to knock it up to a 4, but with so many very good restaurants in the area serving similar cuisine, the competition out there is rough.
