Food is great but the waitress seems to be distracted by her oneself. Worst service by far. Waiting about 20 minutes just to ask for a freaking refill. Smh. Pathetic.

The food here is really good! The service was good too! We went during happy hour. Didn’t try the hooka but I’m planning on going back just to try their hooka!

I have to say 20.00 for a kebab is standard pricing. Though it was one of the most bland plates I have ever seen. When a Lebanese restaurant asked me if I want a side of french fries the 1st red flag went up. The 2nd was when the pita bread is served from inside a plastic bag. This place is going to be skipped whenever I ever come to this neck of the woods again.

I’m Lebanese and I lived in Lebanon for almost 10 years, so I think my opinion here really makes a difference. I love the Kibbi Bil laban and Kibbi Nayye, but honestly those are the only dishes I get when I go because they’re the closest thing to authentic. Other than that nothing really stands out, Fattoush salad is not at all authentic… I do not recommend the Mloukhiye, its actually a big disappointment. Also, this place is very overpriced, due to the fact that it’s pretty much the only Lebanese restaurant in the area.

Fresh and tasty food although the pita could be better, it’s a bit hard and cold. But the humus, falafel, tabouili, babaganoush, and fatayer were delicious. We’ve eaten their several times since they’ve opened and I normally got the chicken Tawook w extra garlic sauce which my son ordered today. He enjoyed his meal. My vegetarian platter was filling, I ended taking leftovers home for later. :) We ate outside since it was nice and breezy. Good service and friendly staff. Recommend.

Very fresh and delicious food. Located in a mall city center so do not expect mind– blowing atmosphere. Service was sweet and accommodating and the flavors were bright and delicious. Would definitely return for the hummus, falafel and pickled vegetables. Yum!

My method of evaluating a Levantine restaurant is the quality of their Shish Tawook pita. When I came and sat down, I asked for a Shish Tawook pita and the waitress told me that they only serve it during a certain period during the day. I understand that a restaurant has to go with efficiency in its operations but not having that meal available all day when It is a staple of the experience was disappointing. Nevertheless, I went there with an open mind and ordered the Chicken Shawarma platter. Unfortunately, more disappointment was imminent. The chicken was way too salty. It had a nice tenderness to it but any other possible flavor(parsley, pepper, oregano) was overpowered by the amount of sodium contained in it. Usually when meat is cooked on a grill, there is this subtle aroma that comes from the grid, that was not there either. I was very surprised. Additionally, I figured that adding some of that garlic sauce to a bite would enhance it. Little that I know, It was even saltier than the chicken. I, then, stopped eating. I did not mind the presentation of the plate, I went there for the food. I will give this establishment the benefit of the doubt(maybe they have tastier options) but my experience left a lot to be desired.

Seriously great food but the restaurant had two large parties going on at the time so we were at a table right between them. This made for a very loud experience. Shishka should invest in some noise baffling technology, like ASAP. Anyway, we had a platter of hummus to start and it was excellent. Lots of tahini in here, it had a great fresh taste and a perfect texture. Simply delicious. I had the chicken shawarma platter, with steamed vegetables and rice. Otherwise, it would have come with fries. Healthier but cauliflower? Anyway, it was cooked perfectly, very delicious. The chicken was nice and tender, quite hot from the donner. The rice was great but the garlic paste sauce stuff(not sure what it’s callled) was so garlicky, it could stop an elephant at ten paces. Not that I’m complaining! Just, wow! The service was good, they have some Lebanese bottled beers and the price was good. What’s not to love? It might be hard to find, but it’s down one of the outside courtyards of the mall, facing Federal Highway.

Lunch today at SHISHKA, We started with the dish of olives and beets, good, then we both had Shish Tawook(marinated grilled chicken) with rice, excellent, but I found the rice although well prepared a bit tasteless and it was served with a piece of Broccoli and a piece of Cauliflower, also tasteless… it needs some different sides… So many Mediterranean side dishes to choose… Broccoli, Cauliflower… please…

Great little Lebanese restaurant just South of the Carousel in the open air mall on the Southeast corner of Copans and US1. The Veggie Combo was an excellent selection of some of their popular appetizers. The Grilled Halloumi Cheese was also delightful. They have inside and outside seating and a nice wine list. Will definitely be back.

I wasn’t all that excited about going to Shiska for lunch as Lebanese cuisine has never been that much of a turn on for me. What’s more is that if there is any background music I do not like it’s that screechy Lebanese noise such restaurants always seem to insist upon playing rather loudly. However, since I was with a group, most being vegetarians I went along with the program and rather glad that I did. The restaurant, unlike most Lebanese restaurants I have been to was spotlessly clean, had a nice modern eye appealing interior décor and no foul kitchen smells. Our service was accommodating, helpful and polite. For our meal we decided to sort of share around so I got to have a wide tasting of a good number of their dishes such as their hummus, a good blend of chick peas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice and olive oil, which turned out to be rich in flavor, creamy in texture and pleasant to the taste. Also their house Shiska salad of extremely find chopped green onion, lettuce, green pepper, tomato and radish with lemon juice and olive oil which turned out to be a really good, refreshing salad combination especially when enjoyed with their pita bread. As for the other dishes I had or tasted, the names and exact ingredients escapes me, but I found them all to be very good and some of the best I’ve ever had at Lebanese or Middle East type restaurants. Also, which was good for me, they kept what is that horrid screechy Lebanese noise they call music in those part of the world to a low; but of course that is merely a personal preference type of opinion.

This restaurant is fantastic to say the least. The service is great and the food is even better. I ordered the shawarma in chicken and beef/lamb. It came with rice and other vegetables. It was very tasty and presentable. We also ordered, among other things, the veggie combo. It came with several different types of food. All of which were delicious. Another person in our party ordered food and it came out as a plate of raw meat. Not exactly what she thought she was ordering. The waitress explained what it was. She talked to the cooks and they took it back and baked it for her. It came back out baked and presentable in a completely different way. The waitress explained that this was the first time she had seen this dish. All the meals were excellent and the staff was very accommodating. The restaurant is very nice and clean. Love this place.
