Got food poisoning from this place! The meals were super overpriced for no reason and it wasn’t enough food anyway. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You could eat a lot better at any place for way cheaper.

Tonight was my first time coming to the steakhouse. It was for an Ameri prise financial event. I order the 6 ounce filet mignon which came with mashed potatoes and green beans. I ordered my filet medium rare I received it medium I did not send it back since it was an event. I will say this even though it was an event for a large party of at least 40 people the servers were tentative which would be expected with a party that large or even a party of 2 or 4. I am glad that I attended this event tonight it was a free event but I do not think I would come here and pay out of my pocket. The quality of the meat was fine but somewhat flavorless. It was an average steakhouse mashed potatoes green beans and steak definitely not worthy of their exuberant $$$$ in my opinion. I have had a better steak at J Alexanders. Now don’t get me wrong it was not horrible it was just average, if I were paying out of pocket $ 45 and up for a meal out I expect quality.

We had a great experience here. Our table was ready when we arrived and was immediately greeted by our server. Our appetizers were brought out quickly aling with our soup and salad. The main courses were cooked to perfection and delicious. I am extremely happy with my dining experience and would recommend anyone check out Morton’s.

We had a great experience here. It’s expensive so don’t go here unless you’re prepared to spend a few bucks. Our waiter couldn’t have been any better. He was very knowledgable about every item on the menu and gave us great suggestions about everything we inquired about. I wish I knew his name as they didn’t wear name tags. Crab cake was delicious as were my wife’s shrimp. We both got a steak with the Oscar add on, crab meat and bearnaise sauce, it was amazing. First class service, no complaints.

New Years Eve at Morton’s was very nice!. Salad, entrée and bread were delicious… definitely can share the salad. Although, I cannot believe with a fine restaurant like this I had to sweep off the crumbs from my chair before I sat… Oversight… I also did not like that we had to butter our bread with a steak knife… I think you can spring for butter knives… A steak knife is large and clunky making it difficult to maneuver with butter and bread… the food was all good and served hot. The molten dessert was excellent and the free champaign and New Years hat made for a festive dinner. Overall would return. Expensive but good …

The food is okay, you are much, much, better off for the price at a place like Capital Grille. The staff here is inattentive, and the general manager seems unapologetic when made aware to restaurant deficiencies. I went through my beer and the glass of water and was dry for half of my visit. Go somewhere else.

GREATSTEAKSELECTION. Without question. Random ‘corporate’ atmosphere…(Reminded me of where I took my boss back in the day) and it hasn’t changed in years. Wine Stew was AMAZING and super friendly. Waiter was like a machine without the personality chip. As they say… You want great steak, go to a steak house… This is exactly that. The stars are for the food and Olga

I love the Morton’s in Boca and I used to go there every year for my birthday! We moved to Broward and wanted to try the Summer Deal for $ 35 per person. The meal was disgusting, it was the worst steak I have ever tried. The mashed potatoes were bland and cold. The dessert at the end was not good. I left there with a tummy ache. I wasn’t going to write a bad review because I always praised Morton’s in Boca but my in-laws were telling me they went the other day to the same restaurant and had the same experience so I had to share.

It was ok, I have had a much better steak dinner for a lot less money. If ya don’t mind a mediocre dinner and ehh experience at $$$$ this Morton’s is for you.

First visit to Morton’s last night for the Dining Out Fort Lauderdale special. Easy to park with the free valet parkig. Nice bar and happy hour specials before we sat down. Some hit and misses with the food. Great service. They bring you decent onion bread to start with. Ordered off the special menu, and had the tuna tower(awesome), 6 oz. filet(cooked perfectly and good) and cheesecake(excellent). Side was the lyonnaise potatoes(way too many onions). They also brought us the prosciutto appetizer and it was really good. So, the misses: told there was no more chocolate mousse when we ordered and saw other table later being served it, the potatoes, both the lyonaisse and mashed were just very average. Having just been to a Ruth Chris to compare this too, I have to say that Ruth Chris was better. Now, I have to termper that for the $ 35 price fix dining out deal, Morton’s was a great bargain.

Our visit to Morton’s left us with the lasting impression that the value for money at this location is not particularly good. Simply put the prices are too high for the quality that you get. They serve an old fashioned menu in an updated interior. The service was good but it was nothing to write home about. The food was good but not nearly as good as comparably priced restaurants we have frequented. The cocktails were good. Overall Morton’s seems to be a stodgy establishment struggling to keep up with the times. In summer, the restaurant is largely empty.

One of our leaders favorite restaurants. It is a very traditional steakhouse in atmosphere and execution. The filet is best and served properly medium rare. Always a nice cut that is delicious and well regarded. The vegetables and potatoes are offered family style in a group setting like ours. The breads are unique and quite tasty also. All is best on someone else’s expense account !!

My issue with Morton’s is the quality of the food. It’s just too damn bland. The service here is excellent, and the décor is what you’d expect, but the meal(despite the hearty portions) fails to deliver, despite the premium cost. It’s basically a fancy Longhorn Steakhouse at this point.

Filet was like«butta» and cooked to perfection; so delicious. Absolutely NEVER order the escargot. It was the world’s worst, and I would strongly suggest they remove it from their menu. Mac-n-Cheese was to die for(had the crunch factor sprinkled within/on top). The bread is not good at all. The onion loaf they bring you seems old and dry. the little bread puffs they put on the escargot were so inappropriate. The reason for bread with escargot is so you can dip in and get the garlic butter sauce; the puffs they put on there fall apart and crumble, resulting in bread crumbs and no ability to dip. Plus the butter on the escargot seemed like it may have been«I can’t believe it’s not butter» or some fake butter. It was sooooooo bad. The place is run down though, only thing classy about it was the prices on the menu. Many guests walking through looked like they stopped in from a dive bar. I was shocked it was allowed and a dress code wasn’t in place. You certainly did not feel like you were at an high end restaurant, but rather at the Outback Steakhouse or below. i wanted GREAT escargot for some reason, and on that note, we should have gone to de Paris. All and all, a great meal and time in spite of this place. next time we’ll go to de Paris for a glass of wine and escargot, then consider Morton’s for the steak. That steak was delicious. The oysters rockefeller was pretty darn good too. Oh and 5 stars for the wait staff/managers. Enjoyed them all. BUT, bottom line; honestly, I’ll never return for a classy dining experience. The place was depressing. When I pay $ 50 for a steak, and I’m paying $ 12.50/glass of wine, etc., I expect more out of the ambiance, which was just a total fail on so many levels. The whole place could use a facelift décor wise. The best thing they had going was the little«piggy» oil candles on the tables.

I celebrated my birthday at Morton’s earlier this month. While I always enjoy the meal, it seemed like the service was better than ever. There were 10 of us. We started with appetizers ranging from the tuna tower(my favorite) to various salads. The tuna is really outstanding. Has a little kick to it, but not overly spivey. The wonton crisps add a texture to the dish that makes it stand out. I was the only non-steak eater. Everyone enjoyed their cuts, with one ordering he peppercorn sauce. I had the crab cakes. I have been eating crab cakes at Morton’s for over 15 years. When they became part of the Landry’s family, they actually improved their already good crab cakes. Mostly lump crab, with very little filling. I had one for dinner and the other crab cake for lunch the next day. Sides are family style. My family loved plaintiff’s the hash browns. It is not my favorite way to have potatoes, so I am not a good judge. The Brussel sprouts and asparagus were well prepared(consistently with previous visits). The mushrooms were delicious. For my birthday, they brought my the hot chocolate cake. What can be bad about hot gooey chocolate with vanilla ice cream? The cake is luscious and not too sweet. Looking forward to our next visit.

I want to start off by mentioning how big of a fan my boyfriend is of Morton’s. He is always telling me that it is his favorite steakhouse. He bragged about how good the food was and the wonderful service he always received. I on the other hand, have never been to a Morton’s. He took me tonight to celebrate my getting into grad school. Maybe it was this location but I just wasn’t impressed. And even he was very disappointed in the service that we received. The restaurant was pretty empty so walking in, we were immediately greeted and found a table to sit at. our orders were taken and a huge onion bread loaf was brought to our table. My boyfriend tells me to prepare myself for some deliciousness… i cut into the bread and put butter on it then take a bite. My shoes weren’t blown away… the bread was not hot seemed to be sitting out for a while. I hoped that this wasn’t going to set the tone for dinner. Minutes go by and our server James was nowhere around. .he took our orders and disappeared. we couldn’t even ask him for fresh bread or even for a drink. To eat we ordered one of the specials, horseradish crusted swordfish topped with greens and a yummy sauce that i can’t remember. We also had 6 oz. Filet Mignon with 3 Grilled Shrimp &2 Bacon Wrapped Scallops. And a side of the broccoli florets. The swordfish was really good and cooked well. Flavors went well together. The steak… scallops. .shrimp and a horseradish marmalade was tasty as well. Then we also had the molten chocolate cake.. I don’t think that i really have to say anything about this. It was awesome! The food, besides the bread was pretty good but I was very disappointed with the service. I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses and fine dining restaurants and this one just didn’t stack up as far as service was concerned. Our server just wasn’t around… not attentive. Only came to drop off food and our check. For an empty restaurant there was no excuse for it.

2 words: HAPPY. HOUR. What a wonderful feeling it was to have a delicious dinner of small bites and drinks at MORTON’S for under $ 50. These high end steak houses are starting to realize there is a HUGE untapped market that they can take advantage of by offering smaller portions at super affordable prices and I am so happy! I came into Morton’s yesterday with my husband(a Monday evening) for their«power hour» which is from 5pm — 630pm and it was delightful. They have a variety of choices on their food and drink menu from the bar and the prices are hard to beat. Of course it is Morton’s bar menu and not their full dinner menu, but I still found it to be a great deal. They have food options ranging from $ 7-$ 17 and drinks from $ 5.50 — $ 8.50. We ordered a bunch of things and they were all delicious. In order from best to still really good: 1. The crab and spinach dip! This was so flavorful and is served with buttered crostinis — great appetizer. 2. Four filet sandwiches — these are like sliders of steak gloriousness. They cook the steak to your preference and its served on 4 mini buns with a mustard aoili type sauce — yum. 3. Three petite filets — again they cook the steaks to your preference and they serve with 3 different sauces. The filets are like the perfect 2-bite size so you can sample all 3 and not be too full to eat other things. 4. The wedge bite salad — this was a favorite for the husband. It was 4 small wedges covered in blue cheese dressing, fresh blue cheese chunks, bacon, egg and tomato. I could have used a little less dressing but it was still really good. The bar area is very nice situated at the front end of the restaurant with floor to ceiling windows. They have high tables as well as stool at the bar itself. Overall I LOVEDIT! I plan to be back for many more power hours!

This is the type of place where you would assume people would at least change out of gym clothes for, right? Not always. There was such a smörgåsbord of people here(it was a Saturday night, but still) from families to old people to a lone biker guy. But I would assume you would want to dress up a little bit. Yet a good amount of people were in what I would wear to the gym. Technically there is no dress code, but come on. Rant over. We had an 8:00 reservation but got in early so we decided to see what the situation was. They have free valet so we parked the car and the hostess had us sit at the bar for a few minutes. I hadn’t even had time to order a glass of wine before she came and got us for our table. Awesome. We sat down and our waitress Nonni was awesome from the get go. She was friendly and helped indecisive me pick out what I wanted from the seemingly endless wine list. We ended up splitting the bacon wrapped mozzarella as an app, had 2 filets and mashed potatoes, and got the molten chocolate cake for dessert. They give you the onion bread as well and even have a special blade thing to get the crumbs off the table. I was mildly impressed when she did it one handed with plates in her other hand. The mozz and prosciutto was incredible and comes over arugula and balsamic. The assistant waiter was also awesome and kept our water refilled the entire time. We never had to ask. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was so tender and juicy it literally was melting in my mouth it was so perfect. No sauce needed. They kind of «get you» to order dessert by asking you if you want to order the cake when you order entrees because it takes 30 minutes to bake. It does, but if you waited until people were done with their entrée to ask for dessert you wouldn’t sell as many since people are so full. Waitress selling tactics; I understand but by that point I didn’t care. It was delicious. Came out with raspberries and ice cream. NOM. Once we got the check it was very smooth and we weren’t kept waiting around at all-a point usually that is annoying to me at most meals. They even have my favorite kind of butter mints and it took all my sanity and politeness not to palm the whole bowl and dump them into my purse.
