I have been a loyal customer for over 30 Years, and I will not go back. What Happened? Did they change hands when they moved??? Even the bread was different… OLD. Truly of waste of money. Very Very Sad…

I order 2 sandwiches for me and my pregnant wife, drive out of our way to pick them up, guy says yes original location, which is boarded up. We then start to drive to NEW location and he says closing but no problem he will be there for half hour. Get in front of place and he answers phone with bunch of people in background laughing and cannot give sandwiches for cash as he closed register. We were there 15 min before he told us he was leaving. We drove wrong direction to do right by this guy and got screwed. Lost a customer and clearly this biz has gone south since expanding and relocating.

The best sub’s in Florida… no doubt! Great value as well. Make sure you call and place your order prior to arriving or you will be on line for 15 – 25 minutes.

Overrated in my opinion. I like lots of toppings and they don’t have many choices. But if you like a meat stacked sandwich I’m sure you will love it.

Soft. Ample. Meaty. La Spada means«Sword» in Italian. Interestly, Game of Thrones is actually called«Throne of Swords» in Italy. But I digress… This was my first visit to this fabulous deli. So, I flinched whenever any meat flew thru the air. Yes, it’s that kinda place. I had the small italian on white, which is plenty for an adult. The kids in front of me… kids as in skinny preteens, begged for the large but the smart mom denied their requests. Kids like this place for some reason. I like it, too. The bread was so soft, packed with everything I requested, expertly crafted before my eyes, then lovingly«tucked in» with an extra layer of meat before being served. It was delicious and satisfying. Definitely a unique and tasty experience.

I am back in Fort Lauderdale for the day and this is the only place I want to go. Seriously, the best sub I have ever had. I dream about the days when La Spada was a short 10 minute drive from my abode… The service is lightning quick. Forget Subway, these guys are true sandwich artistes. The way they send meat flying through the air… Fun to watch at the very least. The sandwiches are enormous, inexpensive, and delicious. Get the sweet and hot peppers. Do it. You won’t regret it. Oh, and they serve Zapp’s, the best chips ever.
