The garlic rolls are amazing! We’ve ordered twice this week from here and have a mixed review. The meatballs are great and huge, and 2 of them for $ 5 isn’t bad. The white pizza was expensive. The crust was good but the pizza itself had very little flavor. The baked ziti was great but not well done enough. The mozzarella sticks had no flavor and were over fried. The chicken fettuccini Alfredo was great but the sauce wasn’t thick enough. Overall, we may order from here again but will be very selective with our choices. Delivery using GrubHub is pretty on point with time. Delivery has taken about an hour both times. Delivery guys are courteous.

This was a very big disappointment. I ordered takeout and it took them 15 mins to heat up two slices of pizza.(I was the only one in the restaurant). Then when I proceeded to sit down to eat he said you cannot take out and then sit down so they took away my box and replaced it with two plates. The pizza was good so I’m giving it two stars but the service was very shitty the man was very rude and paid no attention. Also the prices were way to much for sub-par pizza, $ 8 for 2 slices of pizza!!! Are you fricken serious!!! And the pizza was just sub-par with shitty service and a very rude, obnoxious, waste of space waiter. When I was going to leave I was only going to give a small tip because one I was supposed to take out and two it was shitty pizza and bad service. Then the man goes, «it’s rude to tip her that little, just so you know she only gets paid $ 2 per hour». I felt a little guilty but didn’t want to give any more of my money to this over expensive piece of crap pizza place. The only reason I’m not giving this 1 star is because the pizza was ok and it was in a decent location. If you have the option between this and dog shit, definitely go with the dog shit(you’ll thank me after you try this place)

i have been ordering for over 2 years. Usually i get take out. I get pizza and the greek salad. I love the food. Always fresh and to me, it taste like NY pizza. I don’t say that about any place really so to me that is a plus! I do wish they had the Italian wedding soup more often than not. It is delicious! Going there and eating outside is not to shabby either. A slice and a beer:)

While I have not physically been to the location, I recently ordered delivery via the Unilocal App(Eat 24). The order process was easy and my order was delivered in time. I remember ordering here ages ago when I worked at Amex and it was called Poppy’s. I’m not sure why they changed because Amex employees kept them very busy but I digress! Picture it: Italy 1920 something. A poor peasant girl learning to make fine Southern Italian food. That girl was my grandma and of course I compare most dishes I order to her amazing recipes! I started with fried zucchini. My grandmother makes mean fried zucchini. I haven’t mastered it yet. The order was a nice size. It was served with red sauce on the side. The only thing it was missing was grated parmesan cheese on top. I added that and it was delicious. I had a side salad. It was fresh and crisp. Then I tried their eggplant parm especially after reading Michelle C’s review. Please note it is breaded and fried but in the traditional Southern Italian way. It is sliced very thin, breaded with flour and lightly fried. It definitely makes a difference vs other restaurants that leave the skin on, cut thick slices, and use breadcrumbs. While they use the same method my grandma and I use, it was lacking seasoning– specifically salt but it was still good. We also ordered a chicken parm sub. It was done nicely and the sauce was on the chicken vs bread, which can sometimes lead to a soggy sub. Lastly, we indulged in some zeppolis. Simply put– fried dough loaded with powdered sugar. It was absolutely unhealthy and we loved it! Overall, the food was good and worth trying more…

Most times this is great New York style pizza. This time it was not so good. Our pie was loaded heavily with excessive cheese and short on marinara sauce. We had it boxed and my lunch partner took it home to her kids. Grande Pizza Co. serves other favorite Italian dishes, as well as pizza, so we ordered two Lasagna Lunch Specials. This time they got it right! Very good lasagna. Baked and served perfectly. Yummy. Even though we did not enjoy our pizza, the consensus was, we will not allow this to put us off Grand Pizza. These things happen.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant off and on for maybe 7 years. The food is very good. I enjoy their pizzas, the pastas are delicious. The garlic rolls have a bit too much garlic for my taste. I’ve also had their calzones and soups. Everything I’ve ever eaten from this restaurant has been made to order, very well seasoned, and delicious.

Surprised to see the reviews here. They literally are all over the place. Many are from many years ago so not sure if they have possibly changed owners, management or staff but I do know I am very happy with this restaurant. We have been here at least five times now, twice we dined inside and the rest we did take out. Honestly it is more of a three star restaurant but the service and consistency of the food is solid so I bumped it up by one star. It is very small inside, although they are remodeling right now as they took over the space next door. I know the staff are looking forward to their expansion. They do have around ten tables or so inside and some outside as well. When you walk in there is a counter with the pizza oven right in front. The staff are always so friendly and give excellent service. The name of this establishment does not do it justice. They offer a fairly large menu with salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and other entrée’s. They make excellent soup here. Hubby had the Italian wedding soup last week and he loved it. We have never tried the pizza here but I have seen fresh pie’s come out to other patrons and it looks very good. They have amazing garlic rolls, just as I like them, fresh, tons of oil and garlic and very addicting. My favorite dish here is the Eggplant Parmesan. I am super picky with eggplant. I do not like my eggplant breaded and fried. This dish comes with soup or salad, choice of side pasta and two garlic rolls for under $ 15. This eggplant is not breaded or fried, the sauce is very good, not sweet at all. Very nice flavor on the marinara which is used over your choice of pasta as well. Then the fresh mozzarella cheese drizzled over the top makes this dish so good. Baked to perfection! Location is in my neighborhood making it very convenient. I am super stoked to have found a place where I love a dish so much, it will have me return often. Great find as most of their pasta dishes are better than some other Italian places in the area for much more money. Very casual, great service, very reasonable prices! Ciao, see you soon!

I have been ordering from here for a year. Last two orders were wrong. I order thru grub hub. So I called and spoke with Nicole supposedly the manager. If she is she should be fired. Told he if I want my order right to call not go online and could care less about a long time customer. Something on grub hub app went wrong. Her logic not out problem. Last week I was charged .50 for something nooner offered. Girl to me she can’t credit I have to call grub hub. Grub hub said the restaurant has to do it. They are tripping people off be cautious plus food gets here cold.

I came for lunch with a few friends from work, this is a small local Pizza shop offering several lunch combo specials. The Pizza is very mediocre, sauce was meh, ingredients tasted processed and not fresh and crust was nothing special, service was friendly but not very attentive.

So i went here for my daughters vpk graduation dinner with her grandparents, my mom, husband, and two other kids, at first it seemed ok for service, but once i put in the pizza order, the waitress i guess assumed that was all we were eating. so while me and my kids got my food, the rest of the family had to wait almost a half an hour for theirs. It was really embarrassing considering we were one of two tables in the whole restraunt. And do u think our troubles were comforted by anytype of managment? no! the lady at the register just keep shaking her head towards the waitress(who didnt seem all there) and did not offer any help. its ashame to see such unprofessionalism. The food was good. But the environment was depressing.

Have ordered from here in the past without problems. But the last two experiences leaves me not to go back for a third. Not sure what is going on here, but definately a change in business practice has occurred. I ordered a large pizza and half doxen rolls on Thursday march 13 at 809pm. by 9pm we still had no delivery and we live less than 5 minutes from the store. I called at 917pm and a loud voiced woman answered and then put the phone down, by the time she came back on the line and i heard all the conversations in the background going on, the delivery man was at the door. So I said, Okay, the delivery just arrived while I was waiting for you to return to the phone”. To which she responded to me «well its only been 2 minutes over an hour anyway» O_o What type of response is that and it was more than 2 minutes over an hour. But i just overlooked it and said Thank you. My sons opened the pizza and it was stone cold and so were the rolls. everything had to go in the oven to heat it up. I didn’t bother to even call since the first call did not evoke such a great response. So $ 30 for cold pizza and rolls we waited over an hour and 15 minutes to have delivered and then had to use my oven and energy to re-heat it. There is a definite change to the bad going on at this place.

Skip this place. They use to be great, I’m not sure what happened. The pizza is either perfect or undercooked and runny. Their delivery from grub hub takes easily OVERANHOUR. It literally took 90 minutes.

We found this place on grubhub. Next time I order from this place, I’m going to call because it took grubhub a while to send the order. It took about an hour and 20 minutes to get my order because of the grubhub delay. The delivery guy was super nice. And our food was hot! I got the chicken gyro with fries and my boyfriend got the chicken parm sub. There was SO much food we couldn’t finish(leftovers)! It was amazing! They even got our modifications correct! Going to order from them again SOON!!!

Our server was super friendly and on top of things. We ordered an XL cheese pizza, and two lasagna lunch special that came with garlic rolls. The manager(?) informed the server and us that she was just going to reheat the cheese pizza that was previously made. Um… okay, we’re pretty easy, so okay. Although, I could see where this may make someone upset(just a note: the server hesitated and made sure we were okay with it). The pizza was still good rebaked. The garlic knots were great on top. Evenly browned with ample garlic and parmesan. I wouldn’t recommend eating the bottom unless you want to suffer mild cardio infraction due to the overwhelming amount of oil. The lasagna was sitting in half an inch of greasy water, which leads me to believe that it was previously frozen. It also had a funky taste. Alas, we were hoping for a bit more as we are big supporters of smaller businesses.

We have ordered from here a few times. My husband likes the pizza, but I think it is mediocre at best. Frustrating when you order for pick-up, and arrive to find your pizza has been sitting under a warmer for quite a few minutes. For the price, I think there is much better pizza to be had. And the frying oil tastes off.

I ordered my food through on 1÷8÷13. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sub with onions, peppers and white American cheese. I also ordered fries with ketchup. They were more than 30 minutes early. I ate the fries first, even though they were still pretty hot. They were crispy and very tasty. It’s the way steak fries should taste. I put ketchup on the sub. It was still hot and I enjoyed every bite. Excellent Philly cheesesteak sub. I might just order from them again today!

This is a 2 part review — wanted to use both Groupons before finally committing to [virtual] paper Part 1 — Today, October 30 — great Halloween decorations. Empty when we came in, a few more people came after about half an hour. The server was polite, attentive but I got the feeling that she’d rather not be there. Once she took our order she had to tell the cooks to get back inside … that was a first. I was hoping it would be as good as Esposito’s since they are the same company I guess. So a few comparisons are in order. Anyway, we ordered garlic rolls with cheese and a crusty cheese pizza with mushrooms and onions. The rolls came fairly quickly. Looked like Esposito’s — very good, browned nicely and most important, not dripping oil. I made this observation to the server — at that point I was happy. A bit prematurely, because once I started … well, all the grease was on the bottom. We ordered a dozen because it was only $ 2 more than ordering six. The freezer to the rescue. We each managed to eat two — they were very filling. Just as well because the pizza took a really long time to come. We had ordered the crusty cheese at MH’s request, but once it finally arrived my heart sank, literally. It was crusty, glistening, the way I’m sure it’s supposed to look, but oh my god, so much cheese and oil that all I could think was heart attack. The butter knives provided were not enough to cut that sucker, only with a great deal of force that repeatedly sent the pizza spinning on the plate. Re: toppings, we ordered mushrooms and onions — they didn’t have ground beef, only meatballs. Frankly I was disappointed here too — the quantity of the former was miniscule, maybe half a handful and the onions were chopped(instead of sliced) very fine — barely visible. Last time I pay 2.50 per topping without asking questions first. Re: the leftover pizza. Of the 10 or so pieces we brought home, one was eaten. That one by my husband for lunch one day. Right afterwards he commented on how stuffed he was and fell asleep on the couch for the next 3 – 4 hours. Now while this is not completely unheard of, the speed and duration of the pizza knockout was rare. Incredible energy-sapping powers batman! ok, part 2. This time we resolved to go smarter and only order subs. A good decision. They were good, particularly MH’s steak. Unlike most places where the steak is chopped, this sub had a hearty whole piece on it. My only comment on them is that the prices were high, especially given that the large is a 10(not 12) inch. Our total for 2 subs, a beer and tip was about $ 30 or so. However, the waitress was much nicer, friendly and caring. It was comfortable eating there. I would recommend it, and pizza if you go with a crowd.

I’ve tried most of the pizza places in the area and Grande is a step above chain pizza places like Domino’s and Pizza Hut, but not quite the New York Style I’ve been looking for. The sauce was eh and the crust could have been more crisp. We also ordered the mild wings which were surprisingly bland… seems kinda hard to mess that up. Delivery didn’t take too long, but it’s a bit pricey considering the very average quality and many other options around. It’s worth another shot, but not a place I’d regularly order from.
