Bonefish Grill

I’ve been going to Bonefish Grille in Fort Lauderdale for about 7 years. Tonight I was beyond disappointed. The food is now average. Not good… just average. My tablemate ordered the sirloin and crab cake dinner. It was pathetic. Crab cake was the size of a 50 cent piece. Barely a scoop of potatoes au gratin. I ordered Lily’s Chicken… usually very good. Again, just average. Sides… au gratin and jasmine rice that had no flavor and was crunchy. Rick, what happened to your restaurant???

Amazing cocktails! The food is equally as great fresh seafood steaks and much more. Casual environment friendly and attentive wait staff. This place is much better than your normal chains like Red Lobster or Joe’s Crab Shack. Medium to higher prices but it is well worth it

Very good food. Especially the garlic mashed potatoes as a side. Quick and friendly service

We go for the tuna sashimi it is as good as you will find in south Florida. Service is good. Calamari is very good, i recommend this chain.

The ambience here is very nice however the prices ar higher than portion size.
I completely recommend lilies chicken as a dish
And a bonefish pomegranate martini as starter cocktail
Over all dinner was prepared correctly and the taste was out of this world
Recommendation: call a head to reserve before you sit when dealing with table size more than 6 people
The wait time was not bad

Love this place specially now that in Tuesdays they have 3 course meals for less than $ 21. It includes a salad, an entrée and even a dessert. This place has great food, prices and service. I’ve never had any problems with this restaurant and always recommend it to everyone I know. Thanks Bonefish Grill!!!

Bonefish grill is one of our favorite restaurant here in south Florida. It’s great food, great prices and always great service. It happens to be the place where we make a lot of life choices too. We always order the bang bang shrimp because it’s the best in town. We also always order the shrimp and scallop dinner. Now on Tuesdays they have 3 course meals for less than $ 21. You get a salad, an entrée and a dessert. Love it! This might just be our new every Tuesday dinner kind of restaurant.

The drinks were sooo good I had to come back and have the blood orange Paloma and try the sidecar. I also was dying for the fried calamari my friend Marian got a dirty martini and the coconut shrimp. She said the shrimp are delicious my calamari is really good too. The coconut shrimp is not spicy but does have a kick to it. I was informed about a situation with a sticky stall. had I experience that problem last night when I used the facilities I would have reported back but I guess all hell breaks loose on Saturday night. Again a very reasonable bill $ 40 in and out the door 3 drinks and two appetizers later and I’m headed home that’s what I call my Saturday night

This place was so much better than expected.
I had the grouper with crab fried rice with a watermelon martini and ended dinner with the brownie for dessert.
The service was great as was the food. Definitely worth a visit if in the area

Great service with great food. We were celebrating my Mom’s bday this past Monday and we had a very nice server and had the Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Pork Chops, Shrimp & Scallops. The food was great, except the Jasmine rice was very dry so we had to exchange them for garlic mashed potatoes, and the mango salsa was served in a Barbie size container and didn’t even taste like mango?!

Another exceptional experience and meal. Service has definitely been restored to high levels and last night it’s was both noticeable and appreciated. Our server Melissa was prompt to take our drink orders and mentioned some specialty cocktail specials of the evening.
We perused the menu and made some decisions while awaiting our drinks. The restaurant was busy again and there were several groups around the bar and restaurant enjoying their night and happily sharing stories amongst their groups.
We avoided the appetizers and just ordered entrees. Bay Boat Scallops served over a bed of Risotto, Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout, Shrimp and Scallops and lastly Lollipop Lambchops.
Melissa checked up on us often while our meals were being prepared. Once the food was served we found everything to be on point and delicious. Melissa continued to check up on us and kept our cocktails filled. We opted to skip the dessert and wrap up our evening.

This somewhat hard to find Bonefish Grill was an excellent choice for an early dinner. With decent happy hour specials and quality food… I was overall pleasantly surprised from this chain restaurant. The Tuna entrée was exceptionally done, and the Bang Bang shrimp, although somewhat unhealthy, was really tasty.

Excellent for a chain restaurant, professional service, a nice list of specialty cocktails and a great menu that includes a large selection of small plates to share. The food is excellent, everything is prepared fresh, quality is consistent which is key as to why Bonefish grill is such a great restaurant.
This Fort Lauderdale location is a lot larger inside than what it appears, there is a large dining room, a large bar and bar tables/​lounge area. We like to seat at the bar, and all of the bartenders are friendly and attentive. The only issue I have with the bar is that the wood covering most of the bar back wall makes it look very outdated, they should really invest in a renovation to make it more modern.
I love the variety of the small plates on the new Bar menu, the Rockefeller are delicious with a beautiful presentation as the oysters are placed on a bowl of rock salt, the pork Dim Sum Style Slider Buns are delicious and the Ocean Trust Tropic Heat Martini specialty cocktail (vodka house-​infused with pineapples, freshly muddled mango, lemon juice + a thin slice of jalapeño) is by far my favorite plus if you order it they donate $ 1 for each drink to an Ocean Trust foundation, It thought that was very cool.

Saturday ²¹⁄₂₀₁₄. Sat at high top. Ordered from new menu. Cup of Lobster Bisque $ 5.20. House salad $ 5.30 really good w/​hearts of of Palm. & there Shrimp Dim Sum $ 8.00. So not Dim Sum, dough more like a empanada but not with that yellow color white & doughty

This location is very quiet. I came on 2pm on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. Me and my mother had a pleasant waiter. He came by after we sat for 5 minutes. Took our order and asked if we wanted some fresh baked bread. The bread and pesto was great. The fried calamari appetizer we had was a bit too oily. I could actually taste the oil in my mouth as I chewed. It was breaded well just too oily it upset my stomach. My mom had lily’s salmon and she said it was very tender. The garlic spinach topping was cooked just right. I had lily’s chicken sandwich. It was a bit bland but I liked it that way. It was a lightly fried shell with melted goat cheese and spinach inside. Overall the waiter and environment was good buy after my oily calamari I felt sick the rest of the time :(

Consistently delicious food and a professional service team. The bang bang shrimp were awesome, creamy and spicy and crispy and piled high (enough for two) and they’ve added a few entrees and sides to their menu, i.e. the lobster grilled cheese sounded like a stand out lunch that I’m going to have to come back to try. I ordered the filet and crab cake dinner with sides of seasonal squash and au gratin potatoes. The meal was delicious — the steak was much rarer than I requested but fantastic nonetheless and complimented by the warm bread and olive oil for dipping, dimly lit lights, and a bottle of wine. Valet or self-​park; there’s always a crowd so I’d recommend a reservation.

My sister, best friend, and aunt came to this location on Wednesday, October 15 for our aunt’s birthday. None of us have ever been to a Bonefish Grill but our aunt wanted to try it for her birthday and we were all impressed.
We had Carlos, who was very patient and helpful with us, and he helped us navigate the menu and told us about the specials. We ended up getting the shrimp and scallops, Parmesan crusted trout, the shrimp pad Thai, and I got one of the specials, the swordfish with pumpkin ravioli and a side house salad. It was all spectacular!
For drinks, we had the sangria (red), pineapple martini, espresso martini, and a dirty martini. All were phenomenal!
The only (small) criticism I had was there was a bit too much oil on the ravioli and the house salad wasn’t as dressed as I would’ve liked, but you better believe the food was so good that we all finished every last bite of it!
Carlos was very attentive and helpful, and although they don’t do anything for birthdays, a manager came over with a small box of chocolates for her. We will definitely be back and we will be telling out family and friends to eat her. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I absolutely love the bonefish grill food chain. I have been coming for years to different locations and had pretty good experiences at this one. Their hostesses are very polite and well mannered, service was good.
To start I always order a pomegranate martini. I have yet to find ones as good as the ones at bonefish grill. The first time I went to this location it was just okay, it wasn’t shaken well and the grapes weren’t frozen like they normally are. The second time I came it was sheer perfection, containing little ice chips and the normal frozen skewered grapes.
The menu seems to have changed recently. I was a little disappointed to see that they took the saucy shrimp off of the appetizer list, but upon asking my waitress about the change she special ordered it for me! I was very pleased with that. Some other great options for appetizers are the mussels Josephine and bang bang shrimp. My entrée choices here always vary but I was pleased with them both times I came here. I look forward to returning and trying out some of their new menu items/​specials.

This is one of the best Bonefish grill restaurants I have ever been to and I have been to quite a few of these restaurants across several states because I like their menu selection and I enjoy their meals. This was actually my second time visiting this location and during both times we had a great time.
I hardly ever mention a waitress in my restaurant reviews, let alone write half the review about her. But we had the pleasure to have Ella as our waitress and she was fabulous. At the end of our dinner I told her how amazing she really was and that she earned this location a five star review and I made sure to let the restaurant manager know that she was the best waitress I’ve seen in a while.
Ella was awesome all around and a good example of a great waitress. She was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of our questions in a polite and professional manner. We simply never had to ask her for anything. Everything we needed, she took care of before we asked. It was as if she was reading our minds.
She brought more bread to the table before we asked her. She refilled our drinks, cleared the table of appetizers plates and checked on us to see how everything was and if we needed anything several time during our dinner.
The food was fresh and delicious, the service was outstanding, the staff were great and very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I’ll surely be returning to this location next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale.

You will always find something you’ll love at this place. The food and drinks are always good and the quality and service is always consistent. Of you’re looking for a great casual night out this is your place. My last visit was for lunch, they have a separate menu for this.
We got the fish sandwich which was very tasty. This came with a cup of their roasted red pepper tomato soup which I have to say I actually liked alot! I’m not a fan of tomato soup at all but the roasted red pepper really enhanced the flavor of the soup.
We also got the ceviche which I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. It had shrimp, avocado, and scallops this was in lime juice and came with a side of tortilla chips. This dish was served in a bowl made of ice which is the most interesting presentation I’ve seen. The only problem is that if you take you’re time to eat the ice will melt into the ceviche and dilute the flavors.
I also ordered potstickers which are my favorite. Even though they weren’t on their lunch menu they were happy to make them for me. You have to try this dish its sweet and spicy and delicious!
