The atmosphere of the Bagel Shop was great, good music and plenty of seating and a friendly staff. If the order was simple they are happy to work on it even if the crew is busy and working away at other orders. The bagels and spreads are delicious, a little on the salty side(we got the spice girl) and a bit greasier than expected. All in all its a decent bagel shop minus some of the CISCO truck ingredients.

Service was truly bad. I was in early on a weekend…4 employees and me. They got my simple order wrong(all I wanted was a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted and plain)…after returning from the parking lot they apologized and claimed that I asked for crème cheese. Then they made me another, but when I got to the car, it was a different type of bagel. Clearly the 4 employees were more interested in chatting with each other than paying attention to their customer. I did not go back in a third time… nor will I again.

This was my first time at RMGW. The service was friendly, but slow to respond to a long line that formed. My bagel tasted pretty good, but it was hard and my jaw hurt by the time I finished eating. My hot chocolate was downright gross, and I ended up throwing it away after a couple sips. The redeeming quality for this place is that it’s cheap. My meal was about $ 5. Not a terrible place if you’re short on cash and don’t have time to make yourself a bagel.

Very friendly. Bagels are dense but good. They freeze really well but don’t stay stable in the fridge which made getting a bunch of bagels a little inconvenient but hey, fresh bagels are better than grocery store bagels any day!

Ordered an everything bagel with expectations of flavors bouncing off my pallet. Unfortunately that was not the case, very little flavor from the bagel and the cream cheese.

This place seems to be a place for the locals and has seen some time… something about it seems old. Quite warm in here on a summer day. Breakfast bagels and lunch bagels, there is quite a variety to choose from.

RMBW is the Einsteins of CSU. They have a vast bagel selection with many spread options to boot. They also have breakfast bagel options with eggs, bacon, and cheeses all stacked like a sandwich. My classic in particular was alright but the egg had that McDonalds pre shaped look and didn’t taste that great. In fact, I found myself picking a lot of the excess egg off. All in all though, this is a neat little bagel shop to check out if you are around CSU.

Rocky Mountain Bagel Works offers one of many items within which college students begin to see a need for more artisan approaches. Here are those items: craft beer, Thai food, and bagels. College students have long imbibed in Keystone, stuck to microwavable(in Styrofoam no less) ramen, and bought the local store value pack of bagged bagels. And this institution has put a stop to the corporate carbs. At this local joint, you will find bagels with Mexican chiles blended in, enormous breakfast sandwiches with decent ingredients, and cream cheese with walnuts folded in. Yes, at its core, it still offers flour, water, and cream cheese… but doing it at a local level makes all the difference. Staff try their best… but I will say that they are somewhat slow on the ball. On a recent Saturday morning, the guy at the cash register was backlogged 6 coffee beverages. Perhaps they should cut out the whole mocha/espresso drink program that they are trying to pull off. Look at efficient donut stores! For a carb fix(much needed when adjusting to altitude changes – beer helps too!), RMBW affords visitors and locals alike with a fantastic option, rooted in Northeastern heritage.

Rocky Mountain Bagel Works had become my last choice for a fast breakfast in campus west. I have eaten there maybe ten times and %25 of the time it works out. Today was the third visit in a row that my order has been messed up. The last time i was there i was sitting at a table for 20 minutes before the kid making bagels saw me and asked me what i had ordered… The place gets one star for the one or two bagels i have enjoyed, but along with the best western buffet vibe, constantly dirty tables, consistently bad service, and silently enjoying food i didnt order, there are three or four better options for a quick breakfast within walking distance.(Qudoba, mo mo lo lo, starbucks, or fuzzys, just off the top of my head)

RMBW is terrific, the staff is always friendly, and their firebomb bagel is terrific, I’m a weekly visitor and won’t stop soon

Ordered a bagel… it was so small and tasted terrible. I was recommended the chocolate chip bagel, all it taste like is burnt cardboard. I am not a picky eater at all, but it was bad enough for me to feel the urge to write a review. I paid extra to get a flavored cream cheese and it barely covered my bagel. I haven’t tried anything else from this place, maybe next time… if there is a next time.

My girlfriend and I had a great brunch time snack here. The staff we worked with helped us come up with the best bagel choices available. There was a short supply available but it seems like they are popular for a reason.

The bagels themselves are good, but the breakfast sandwiches(tried the Ram and the Veggie) were gross, especially the sausage and bacon. Coffee Isn’t good either.

I’m not a huge sandwich person, but I got the Green Eggs and Ham bagel sandwich, and I thought it was amazing! It has spinach artichoke cream cheese, egg, and ham(I actually replaced it with turkey, and I loved it). I still like Gib’s Bagel more. Probably because of location being easier to get to, so I go there more often.

Had these guys for the first time ever today, and, albeit, I was quite hungry, I’d have to say that the Green Eggs and Ham bagel sandwich is absolutely the best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had. They have delivery, which is AWESOME on a snowy day. They offer a good selection of sandwiches, bagel flavors, spreads, beverages. I’ll definitely be frequenting this place in the future. I can’t compare prices, because it’s been a long time since I’ve been to an Einstein’s, but it certainly didn’t break the bank.

RMBW is a tell-tale close-to-campus food stop. Utilitarian seating/décor and nothing is more than $ 5. Bagels and bagel sandwiches do what they’re called to do. You pretty much can’t argue with anything that is hot and loaded with eggs, cheese, bacon, chile, etc… on a cool early morning. The coffee is convenience store quality, but I scored a free one when I showed they guy working that the other RMBW location was offering a free drink for check-ins. I would still eat here before going to Einstein’s any day.

This place is great especially in a pinch for time! The bagels and bagel sandwiches are great! Though they got rid of my favorite sandwich, the Green Eggs and Ham!!! So this last time, I ended up getting some rocket sandwich, which was spicy and tasty!!! My gf got a basic bacon, egg, and cheese, and said it was one of the best bagel sandwiches she has had in a very long time! So all in all this place was very good. And it is all very affordable as well.

The great thing about many of the local gems in Ft. Collins is that they don’t look too flashy, gimmicky, or flamboyant to draw their customers in. Those that know — go! It’s simple. If you produce a great product at a reasonable price you will earn your mark in the business landscape. As for the bagel business, these guys deliver the goods. They have a lot of bagel choices, which also make your creating of a bagel sandwich exponentially interesting. While they provide a menu to help assist with slimming down the possibilities, they will be happy to help you decide how to build your perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch bagel sandwich. Of course, you have your traditional bagel + spread, which they have a ton of options for as well. The service is not over-the-top, but congenial. Every time I go in, it appears that they enjoy their work and I’m happy to reciprocate my gratitude. Bagel shops like Einstein and others like it turn me off mainly because there seems to be some image or brand that you as a customer are literally buying into while not getting a fraction of the service you would expect at a local joint like Rocky Mountain Bagel Works. Give this place a try and you’ll understand why I call this a local gem and a place that I whole heartedly support.

Pretty good… the egg on my bagel sandwich was a little weird… Laid back establishment. Nothing to really rave about.
