Visited Fort Collins in 2013, found this bar and enjoyed it a lot. Was passing through again before Christmas, tried it again and it didn’t disappoint. Great place to get some beers on and food is good as well. Best thing about Lucky Joe’s, is the staff, good people. Hopefully I’ll get back there again in the future.

First time here in Fort Collins! Loved this bar and its energy. Bartender was such a doll, gave me a Green Lucky Joes t shirt! Love the ambiance and the music. It’s chill and casual. Would love to be here for Saint Patrick’s Day! I’m sure it would be a blast.

Great place to go late night for a snack and a couple pints of Guiness. Irish and folk bands have been performing the few times I’ve been there. Great service and a unique vibe… A blend of an old western tavern with a hint of a Boston Pub. Peanuts on the Floor. Date of visit: February 102016.

If you’re not much of the slamming Irish car bombs type, please don’t worry. Sit and enjoy the most enjoyable Irish coffee you have ever had.

Love this place, it was my second home while I was in college in Ft. Collins. Owners are awesome, Barkeeps are friendly and they never run out of alcohol no matter how much you drink!

I thought the selection was great for appeasing a large group of people, and the prices were a good value. We were surprised by how many families were there, which was great for the atmosphere. The music and restaurant gets a little louder as it gets later, but still a relaxed atmosphere.

Waitress was GENUINELY friendly and seemed to care about us and her job. Love it when you get service from these types of people! Food was 9 out of 10 and beer was cheap($ 2 each). What else do you want out of your restaurant?

I was looking for a bar with food and I strolled into Lucky Joes. This was the best place I could have stumbled into. I sat down at the bar and Kevin made me feel right at home. It happened to be a monday night, so micro brews were $ 2.50. Jack pot! I was there from about 7pm until midnight. I met some locals, a guy from another country and just had a great time. The beer selection is great. I found one(or so) that was to my liking. I was having such a good time I forgot to order food. Oh well, the next time I’m in town(which will be sooner than later) I’ll give the food a try.

This place is always on the top of my list to visit when I hit up my old stomping grounds of Foco. Many many good nights here, how do I summarize them all in one review? Part of the reason I love this place is that I am a fan of live music. They always have someone on stage playing for the crowd and they are always really good. No one sounds like a screeching cat while they sing which means there are always people dancing. Who doesn’t like to watch drunk people attempt to swing each other around? The drinks are relatively cheap(get the Dublin mule if you know whats good for you). I have had the food a few times(get the mini corn dogs if you know whats good for you). Overall the food isn’t the best thing in the world but honestly who goes to a bar for the food. There are also buckets of peanuts so don’t go if you are going to break out in hives from peanut dust. Also don’t throw them at people or you get yelled at, learned that the hard way. This place is hard to get into at night because it’s so popular so expect to wait in line. Also the door people are pros at spotting fake IDs so don’t even try it.

This is a pretty decent place. Not really one of my regular places but sometimes they’ve got some really good deals. Atmosphere is very quaint and relaxing, it can get crowded on weekends but I prefer it during the week.

Lucky Joe’s is exactly what you’d expect out of a saloon. Average food, cold beers and perhaps some good conversation. This mid-afternoon visit had all but the good conversation. It’s a traditional bar menu, with burgers and sides aplenty. There is a good selection of beers, but if my memory serves me, it was limited for being in the hometown of so many good breweries like New Belgium and Odell’s. The atmosphere was just average with limited outside seating and an interior that will remind you of, well, a saloon. As you can tell, I wasn’t that excited about Lucky Joe’s. I’m sure this would be a great place to watch a game on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, but it is just not a destination spot for any other purpose.

It felt a little more like UN-Lucky Joe’s for our visit… I order the mac & cheese and The Guy ordered a buffalo burger. Service was flighty, burger overcooked, and I sent the lukewarm pasta back… twice. The flavor was decent but there was shredded, unmelted cheese thrown on top indicating the un-hotness of the pasta. The waitress said the kitchen was backed up when she first brought our food so I’m assuming something was a little off considering Joe’s stellar Unilocal reviews. Maybe it was a fluke but we probably won’t be back.

Definitely a top three bar on Fort Collins. Everything about it is good. It’s friendly, fast and attentive servers, Irish bar theme, can make any mixed drink and have a good selection of beers, and my favorite the live music. Food is good if you come for lunch. On Sunday nights there is open mic night. Lots of talent and more relaxed than other nights. Only negative is that the music can be a little loud, except for Sundays, and the white boys, some lacking dance moves. Overall a very fun bar.

This place feels more like a pub to me than a saloon, but for the purposes of alliteration I get why they named it what they did. This place feels old with the peanut shells on the floor, the big, clunky wooden chairs and tables and the Irish themed memorabilia on the walls. But, surprisingly this place ended up being a pretty cool little hang out spot. Our drinks were really good. I went with the hot chocolate and peppermint liquer which was absolutely delicious! Also, we had a round of Irish Car Bombs because, when you are in an Irish bar, you just have to! There were alos some Guinesses floating around our table which is yet another Irish pub staple. Our service was great. We didn’t order food, so I can’t speak to that. But, the atmosphere made for an overall pleasant experience.
