Great beer, tasty sandwiches! We got an Oatmeal Porter and a Red Ale — both were just the way they should be. I had their Reuben; their in-house sauce totally makes the sandwich. Hubby got their chicken club, which he was pretty happy with. More people needed at this establishment!

This is a very surprising place. Joe and Mary run the place like a neighborhood pub, with food that is out of this world. The sandwiches are a little expensive, but only the best ingredients go into them. Their beers are really old school. They have guest taps, but the brews they make there are delicious, creamy and smooth. I’ve been in several times, but when I visited with my family, we were made to feel like their family. The whole staff is great. With so many places to choose from, in Fort Collins, this one is a must visit.

I finally was able to sit down for a drink last night, and it was awesome! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the woman who ended up serving us. She asked us if we were familiar with cask brewing then gave us the background information. It was short, sweet and to the point! I ordered the ale on the cask brewing tap. It was smooth and full of great flavors. I love the full-bar, visitor taps, and food options. The place was clean and the lighting was great. There are tv’s for sports fans & giant windows for anyone else. Our server was awesome and genuinely interested in chatting with us. She was funny, the service was awesome, prices are reasonable, and I will definitely be back!

Great family run business so you can trust that they take pride in their craft. Great service. I tried the Sweet&Sassy Turkey Artisan sandwich and the Cadillac Classic club. They were both amazing. The price is well worth the amount of sandwich on the plate. I recommend this place to anyone in the Fort Collins area.

The bartender Clyde welcomed me instantly and recommended a solid sandwich and beer. GREAT service. The sandwich was absolutely INCREDIBLE ! I had the Cadillac Club and the focaccia bread was by far the some of the best bread I’ve ever tried! I tried the Kilt Tilter cask ale and it went down way too smooth. Also tried the Cask Porter was deliciously smooth as well. This place deserves to be in everyone’s weekly rotation!!!

Been here twice now, once with the wife to share an appetizer and a pre-dinner drink, once on a Wednesday afternoon to get some work done«in the office». Really enjoy their food — stuffed pretzel is a go to, but ask for it a bit extra toasty. Sandwiches are made with top notch ingredients and can likely be split by couples, or consumed in full by hungry teenagers and linebackers. House beers are unique — all are naturally carbonated and served out of the cask, hand pumped. The Red/Amber is a knockout, the Stout is solid, and I’m not too big a fan of the naturally carbonated, overhopped IPA. But hey, that’s my pallet and your mileage may vary. Great Wi-Fi, which is a big deal to me. Solid lineup of local guest taps means you’ll always find something you like, and, on the rare chance you don’t, a well stocked bar can find your fancy. Great collection of TV’s as well, and it appears they have premier league soccer(football?) and NFL packages. Welcome to Choice City, McClellans. Good to see someone trying to differentiate themselves in a sea of craft beer.

Over priced @ $ 5 a pint, beer is mediocre … Sandwiches are even more pricey … Slow service and NO cooperation between the Bartender and the sandwich guy who I believe to be the owners’ son … there are 17 other Brew pubs in Fort Collins this one is near the bottom of my list

Such a fun place with delicious brew and tasty sandwiches! They were out of the cask IPA, but I was not disappointed with the IPA I got(can’t remember the name). And I ordered the vegetarian sandwich which exceeded my expectations — PHENOMENAL! I went with a party of 7 and everyone had good things to say about their meal(1 Colorado sandwich and a couple Cadillac Clubs were shared). The owner/brewer even personally greeted us as we were leaving! Will definitely be back when I’m in town!

Was really excited to see this place, as it is now the closest brewery in town to my house. Went on a Friday after work, so it wasn’t exactly the slowest time to visit. But there were multiple things that happened that indicated to me that they were very understaffed and underprepared for a busy Friday night in a beer town. Being a small brewery, they only had 2 of their own beers on tap. This is common, and at least they had other taps. Of course I tried the two — the IPA I personally did not like at all, but the scottish ale was very good on cask. Then they ran out of the cask, but mentioned they did have the beer on CO2, but in my opinion should not have been served because it was being pushed with CO2 but obvious to me as a homebrewer that it had not been carbonated yet. At least they have out of house beers to offer. We had the prime rib sandwich and one of the cheese plates, and both were fantastic. Unfortunately, it was one of the few highlights we had. As our group grew, we moved to take over a larger table. Waitress had trouble remembering who was drinking what, skipped over people needing drinks for over 20 minutes, etc. Part of it was that they were understaffed, but she was also underprepared to handle that kind of crowd. Couldn’t split our bill correctly, so my friend just paid for it all to avoid further confusion. Lots of little things happened too — there were not enough menus in the place, for example, so tables and servers kept stealing their menus from each other. One of the main servers behind the bar brought out my taster tray and had to ask the head brewer(heading out the door) which one was the IPA, so he could correctly identify the beers he had just poured. 3 out of 4 people in this town could have identified the IPA by color alone, in a taster full of otherwise dark beers. I think there’s a lot of potential for this place. I will go back when it isn’t so busy and share some of these details if they are(hopefully) willing to listen. My wife has spent a lot of time in the restaurant industry, and I doubt she would be willing to go back anytime soon.

I nearly rated them 3 stars, but gave them the benefit of the doubt since they are newly opened and hopefully will work things out. On first short visit, the brew pub appeared to be a great addition to the northwest side of town and the Fort Collins brew pub scene. They are brewing Celtic types of ales, and also have an excellent selection of local ales on tap. I appreciate that they include maltier brews for us non-hopheads. Their menu includes appetizers, meat and/or cheese boards, and artisan sandwiches. The décor is very nice and above average — not cheap by any means, but not comfy. Had time a few days later to stop by and try their cask conditioned Scottish ale which was very good but could have had more body for my taste. This weekend went for lunch with my wife. The price range for brews and sandwiches is on a par with places like Austin’s and The Mainline. We had the imported cheese board which had three cheeses some dried apricots, small au jus cups of spicy olives and chutney, and a few crackers which complimented each other very nicely, but the portions were appallingly small for the price. They say it serves 2 – 3. On strict diets, maybe — I’d say maybe 2 if you’re not hungry. We split a pastrami sandwich and a bag of chips. The sandwich bread was toasted, but it was not hot. We sent it back, but it came back hot, with melted cheese, but crushed. Tasted fine though. Overall, the food was good, but not great for the price. Brew prices are at the upper end. I can’t help but wonder how familiar they really are with their competition like Horse and Dragon and Equinox. Seems like they didn’t research the market adequately.

I happened to walk by as the owners were finishing the construction to prepare to open this weekend. Rather than send me away they invited me in to sample beer and sandwiches. It appears my friend and I were the first two non-friends and family to try the place. The sandwiches are great and the beer is a refreshing touch to a brewery scene in Fort Collins.
