This place has got it going on. They even blended me a cider combo that was really great, peach and cherry. Another note, they make effort to locally source apples, which is awesome. Cheers!

Friends. This is not a review. This is a love story. How do you tell people about the happiness a restaurant brought you when it was ALLOFTHEHAPPINESS? How can I begin to express my feelings that this was in fact, more than a restaurant. This was where I wanted to spend MYLIFE. Forget men. If I lived in a town with a cidery, nay, with THIS cidery, there would never be a question of if I would die happy. I would die the most giddy, gleeful, charmed girl, because THISWASMYSPOT. Firstly, as I’ve already expressed, cider is my favorite. It’s basically alcoholic apple juice. What’s not to like. Secondly, everything on their menu looked amazing and I wanted all of it in my belly. Thirdly, everyone working there was decidedly bearded and, well, HAWTAF. I came in a few days ago with my girl friend, a beer drinker, and one of the bartenders laughed and made jokes about my obvious excitement. And when I found out the flight of cider contains all of the cider listed(not just four like most breweries and cideries), I nearly fell over. He watched in amusement, and I swooned as he poured my drinks. My friend got the lavender blueberry, but we knew I’d be drinking most of it because she would be driving back to Denver when we finished, and she’s very responsible. And it was LOVELY. Just a hint of lavender, and more so in the smell. It was thick and beautiful nectar of the gods. No wait. The apple strudel was the nectar of the gods. At more than 6%, I wasn’t expecting anything to be particularly sweet. But if you like sweet cider, the apple strudel thing was absolute perfection. It tastes like Apple pie, heaven, and thanksgiving. I always want this cider close at hand, to quench my thirst and hold me when I feel sorrow. Also my favorites were the pine one – a bit of a bite, but the best kind you want; the kind that leaves you breathless. I must check the menu to recall each ciders included, but if you’ll just take a moment to trust, they will bring you joy. And go ahead and try them all, and get a pint of your favorite. You’ll want it. I didn’t talk about the food. But it is all AMAZING.

Wow, the new Scrumpy’s. Don’t be fooled by their past — they have lots of beer now. And food. And still have ciders. Really great interior now, lots of different places to sit. I’m going to try to bring groups of friends here for gathering or maybe board games. My only complaint is that the sandwich I got was $ 11 and pretty small really. Ingredients were adequate, but $ 11 seemed excessive. Maybe the food costs are high on purpose to take advantage of us while we are drinking. I don’t recommend this place as a lunch spot because of it though.

First time in since Scrumpy’s remodeled and the place looks amazing. The bartender/manager at the bar was extremely polite, outgoing, and helpful. He let us sample at least five different ciders until we found the one we wanted to order. The flights are a great deal! These are hands-down some of the best ciders I’ve ever had. The place had an open and positive environment. I’ve heard the sandwiches are amazing; can’t wait to try them next time!

I came in with some coworkers for lunch. Their sandwich offerings are interesting and unique. Everyone was able to find something regardless of diets and restrictions. Paired with that, are good beers that could also be enjoyed. Despite it being pretty empty, the wait was a bit longer than anticipated(but well worth it). It’s a bit pricey but worth a visit every so often. Also, they can seat 10 people for lunch no problem without any planning.

We love this place. A great cidery with super nice sandwiches. The ambience holds a little of the old Crankenstein and we miss that place so much! They have live music on the weekends and we hope to go back and do a slot dance(West Coast Swing) on the great wooden floor,(if possible!), while enjoying one of their ciders or a beer on tap. You don’t have to do a lot. But what you do, do well. This place does that.

The cidar was really good otherwise I wouldn’t even give a star — had the apple strudel. However… the first waitress bartender said hi and was very friendly, then came my bartender. I know we all have bad days but she was grumpy and rude. I was casually dressed(jeans and a button down) clean cut… Not homeless looking(sorry to stereo type) Prior to even pouring my drink she very snarly asked me to pay. ok benefit of the doubt maybe they’ve been ripped off before no problem at all. Right after that someone else comes in sits down and gets a drink and doesn’t pay prior. Not sure what the deal was and not to be bitchy it REALLY annoyed me. Won’t be back. Talking to some locals after that, I’ve learned that’s where you go for horrible grumpy service.

Came here for some much needed cider! Wow what a selection! My friend and I enjoyed a flight so we could enjoy the multiple choices of cider. They were all really good and wish I had enough room to bring some growlers back of some cider. The staff were all very nice and friendly giving us recommendations of other breweries to try out! If you are looking to drink some delicious cider come here!!!

They have such a cool selection of ciders! They aren’t afraid to try new things and new flavors. They’ve also expanded out their building, so there are so much more room for activities!

Scrumpy’s is named after the scrumptious cider it’s known for but you can also enjoy this neighborhood bar while downing your favorite local brews and spirits. The friendly owners have gone to great lengths to make this a fun place yet unique place to visit. One entire side of tables is made up of old church pews while snugs on the other side are surmounted by stained glass. Plenty of board games are on tap to keep both kids and adults entertained. Scrumpy’s proudly brews, serves and locally distributes its own cider, along with some of the best names from around the world. I know this sounds like a press release but my husband and I are just big fans.

Yum! I’m a fan of the ciders. Anyone who knows me, knows that I get a little obsessive about pumpkin beers in the fall. Last year I was slowing down and this year, pumpkin beers are definitely out and ciders are so IN! I was trying some bottles here and there on my own, but they always ended up being so sweet and gross. Despite my failure to locate a good cider, I kept hearing so many people say that in fact good ciders really do exist! Enter Scrumpy’s. We did a flight. I honestly had no idea what I was in for. I didn’t even know that many ciders existed, let alone existed all in one place and on tap. I’m sure we’re all familiar with seeing ciders as just an afterthought, maybe 1 on tap and a few bottled options. The bartender was so friendly, he asked us what we liked, he described all the ciders in front of us. There were definitely some that were over the top. I now know that I am not a fan of chocolate tootsie roll flavored or fruit flavored ciders, but it’s good to check those off and get them out of the way forever. Then we had some sips that changed the way I look at ciders. I’m just a newbie, but they were crisp, refreshing, and not even close to being overly sweet. He let us work our way up and gave us some tastes of more traditional(«big kid») ciders. Now that I know ciders can be more than just an alcoholic version of Martinelli’s sparkling juice, I find myself craving a cider. Thanks Scrumpy’s for showing me the way. I’ll stop in the next time I’m in town.

My husband and I visited Denver and noticed a distinct lack of hard cider. Being from one of the apple capitals in the US(Michigan), I began to realize we’re spoiled when it comes to hard cider. We stumbled upon this place after visiting New Belgium brewery and I could hardly contain my excitement. Finally, a place with hard cider! We tried the Flight A with a couple substitutions. I am pretty sure my husband and I only enjoyed two of the eight samples. The others were just way too sweet. It’s like they just add pure sugar into the cider without enough alcohol bite to balance the flavor. I’m down with funky flavors, but they were just too much for me. Definitely worth a shot if you’re from Colorado where hard cideries are rare.

Not as good as expected. Chips and salsa were generic, forgettable. Sandwich ingredients were fresh but sandwiches were pretty dry; they could use more dressing, and usually I prefer less dressing. Sprouts overpowered the one I ate, giving it a sort of root-y, woody taste.

This place has it. Amazing beer selection. If you’re a cider lover, you will be in heaven. At first I was worried bc they only had sandwiches, but when we promptly received our sandwiches, I got it. Best sandwich I’ve had since I don’t know when — Normandy. The staff is genuinely friendly and seem like they take pride in their work. We felt lucky to find this place while in Ft Collins!

Loved this place and would 100% come back when I’m in Fort Collins again. I had their Flight A Cider tray and loved most of them. Some were… interesting but there are always going to be a few tastes that are new. Either way, they were still delicious and someone else at the table enjoyed the ones that weren’t exactly for me. Chocolate Tart sample was great to save for last as a dessert. My friend had the Mead flight, which came with 3 types and was pretty yummy! The sandwiches are so good! I was skeptical at first, my friend said he never ate there before, but there sandwiches all had high scores among my group. I personally had the Churchill. The spicy mustard was on point. The sandwich sizes were big enough to fill us but not stuff u swhile drinking but definitely not too small. Bags of chips come with orders. My friend also got the brownie dessert warmed up and it was pretty tasty.

I’ve been into Scrumpy’s a couple times, although I often forget to check in. It’s a very cute little building, the staff is always happy, and the Cider selection is always great. I’ve never had the snacks on offer, but it always looks tasty when it goes by. I most appreciate that they offer other ciders in addition to the varieties made in-house. Being able to try ciders from Europe and other fun locales helps keep visits interesting. I however find myself returning time and time again for their Raspberry Habanero cider. It is tart, spicy, fizzy, sweet, and absolutely wonderful.

I grew up in Fort Collins when there was no Scrumpy’s. Visiting family one time, I found this new«cider bar» and had to check it out. Now, it’s on my must-visit list every time I make a trip home! If you are a cider hound, this is the place to go! They have varieties from sweet to dry, fruity to spicy. They have some permanent standards and also a rotating variety that they make right there in house! If you have a hard time deciding, the server will happily give you suggestions, or you can try one of their cider flights! An added bonus is that they also have a selection of mead. This is amazing because there are VERY few places to buy mead by the glass — and they even have a few options! Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not mention their amazing food. They go far above and beyond your standard bar food. They clearly pay close attention to quality ingredients. Their sandwiches are gourmet quality and they even have gluten-free bread options if you need. I ordered the«Normandy» sandwich. Great combination of flavors and went great with the cider! I also had the cheese/meat plate with rolled mozzarella and prosciutto. Amazing!

I was really excited to try Scrumpy’s because I’m more of a cider person and less of a beer person. My hubby and I came just for a flight of cider; we did not order any food. We came on a Monday afternoon around 5:00 pm. The lady at the bar was friendly and introduced us to the flights currently offered. We grabbed a spot at a booth and settled on the flight which included 8 in-house ciders. They had some interesting options such as a blueberry lavender infused cider. It was unique and the aromas of this cider and the other ciders were what struck me the most. But none of he ciders«wowed» me, hence the 3-star rating. There were none that I felt like grabbing a pint of, although the blueberry lavender one grew on me as I sipped it. I didn’t care for the dry cider. And while I commend them for trying a raspberry habanero cider, this one wasn’t for me or my husband. Too much burn in the throat for my liking. There was an apple pie cider(I forget it’s exact name) that smelled just like a spiced fall treat. :-) We’ll probably give this place another try although I’d probably choose a flight that included outside source ciders.

This place is just FUN. and GOOD. My friends and I each had our own Cider Flight A, and by the time we were done… whoops, I can’t even remember. But everything was DELICIOUS. My favorites were the tart cherry, wild cider berry, and some kind of raspberry jalapeño that was OUT of this world. Jennifer, the owner, was super nice and chatted with us the whole time we were sitting at the bar. Not sure when I’ll make it back out to Colorado, but this will be my first stop when I do!
