Server didn’t show for over 20 minutes. Shrimp salad was very good, but clam chowder was based on a terrible recipe and chef’s palate. Also ordered swordfish entre, which very ordinary. Very limited in terms of fresh fish selection. Wait staff was very inexperienced and was not supervised or trained.

Silvers gets 3 stars for being on the water, and the friendly staff. The food was ok, the wine selection had a wine we later stopped to on our way out of town. Handeley wines in Anderson Valley. Not worth the price for the portions and taste.

A wonderful place for casual dinning. GREAT view of the Pacific ocean right from your dinning table. Lots of Marin life to watch and boats entering and leaving.

Food was mediocre and way over priced. The view is the best part, but there are other more reasonably priced restaurants near by with the same view.

Nice atmosphere but that was the best aspect. The food was ‘ok’, we had the fish & chips and the crab cakes, along with a bowl of clam chowder(the should change the name to potato chowder). The service was almost too fast, seemed like they wanted turn the tables over almost too quickly.

Pretty good place. Lots of fresh fish, I had the swordfish special last night and it was great. The baked brie is also very good. I have been here a handful of times and it’s always been good. A little pricy but our depends on what you order. Kids are fine there, it’s a family friendly place. Big bar, and nice ocean views.

We came here recommended by a local friend. The restaurant is just below the Noyo bridge. On a nice day the view should be nice since you are looking at the water directly. The day we came it was raining so we couldn’t see much. We orders sea food Cioppino which was in large amount and hard to finish without some serious effort. The mushroom/tomato pasta was alright.

Omg, their oyster dressing was amazing and the crab cakes were as good as proclaimed: award winning. A bit heavy on the lemon side but that’s the way I like it, helps cut down the fry effect. Wonderful views with indoor and outdoor seating. My server was wonderful but the hostess was slow to arrive at the entry to get me seated. I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend. Spacious, so good for bug parties. I was there solo and still felt very comfortable.

Our evening at Silvers at the Wharf was perfect! Drinks at the bar were wonderful, a beer, wine, and a mixed drink all served with care. The mixed drink was vodka & grapefruit and the pink grapefruit juice was potentially freshly squeezed. A true treat after a long day of driving. Shrimp & octopus ceviche was great! Dinner time had us seated at a waterfront window; our waitress,(Maria), was bubbly and friendly. We ordered prime rib(gigantic slab of rare beef); a filet & lobster; & salmon. The lobster meat tasted like butter — it was so tender. Filet was cooked to perfection. I’m only glad that I don’t live here or I’d have to eat at Silvers at the Wharf constantly. GREATFOOD! As an aside, there were families with kids eating there too. It isn’t so upscale that kids are excluded.

Prix corrects. Le service était cordial et efficace.

Not sure what the expectations were of some of the other recent reviewers. This experience was just exactly the beautiful evening we expected! Wharf dining experience with beautiful sunset views, good traditional seafood and well made drinks! Reminded me of many of the seafood dining experiences of my youth growing up in the Bay Area… A bit old school? Yes… But that’s definitely a good thing! Fresh seafood prepared just right while you overlook the fishing boats at sunset returning from their daily haul! Local wildlife watching tip… Keep an eye out for the seal following in the wake of the fishing boats… He or she also knows where to find a good meal!

The food. We both ordered fish tacos, we both were a disappointed. The taco filling was generous however they should be sold as tostadas because they were too large to pick up and eat as a taco. I was disappointed that the fish had little to no seasoning, where the plate failed, the black beans and spanish rice. The beans were bland and the rice was most likely boxed. This plate was $ 14 and this would be the average price for a lunch in the harbor, However I would not order the tacos again I would stick to fish and chips The setting is great, the indoor dining room has excellent harbor views. We were lucky to experience the deck outside and it is protected by sunshades for the occasional warm days the coast can have. They have an outdoor grill setup with an oyster bar and ceviche is available. Dogs are also welcome on the patio. My Mom still swears by the Shrimp Louie, and it is a beautiful setting… but for the money, it was not a great value.

This place was recommended to us to celebrate our anniversary dinner because of the view! Are they kidding? A view of what? An overpass bridge with cars? Seriously? We were sat at a table near the window. The glasses on the table were filthy. We ordered a pinot noir and a cabernet. The wine had to be sitting in the bottle for a couple of weeks, at least. Horrible, vinegar-y wine for $ 9/glass! Needless to say, we felt that if the wine in a fine restaurant was any indication of the food, we had to leave. Never shall we walk in this restaurant again! Don’t waste your time.

The décor of this place is very much like any typical spot in Fort Bragg — a little dated, but cozy and right on the water. On the way out, we saw a great deck that would be perfect to dine on in warmer weather. There’s a full bar and lounge area that is separate from the dining area. We were seated at an amazing window table where the kiddos could watch the boats come in(believe me, we heard about every fishing boat or dinghy as it approached). The reviews weren’t great, so I wasn’t expecting much, but there was a great kids menu as well as an extensive lunch menu. The wine menu was awesome as well. We really had a hard time deciding, so the server had to come back quite a few times and never seemed put out by our indecision. The staff was so attentive! The manager came by after she noticed we hadn’t ordered after being seated for so long(NOT our server’s fault — all our own). She grabbed our orders right before our server made another pass at our table. The kids ordered grilled cheese and a cheese quesadilla while we ordered clam chowder in a garlic bread bowl and fish tacos. The chowder was typical and not super exciting, but mixed with the garlic bread bowl and cheese — so yum! It also had large chunks of clam, so that was great too. My fish tacos tasted very fresh with a sauce, cabbage slaw, and pickled jalapeños on top. I ordered a Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc while he ordered a 20-ounce Pranqster — both very good and similar to what we would usually choose(New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs and wheat beers). Overall, we were happy with our experience. Not sure why the reviews are lacking on Unilocal, but we would definitely come back in the future.

This place was a lot of fun! We had a great table by the window with a view of the water. The food was delicious– on par with the price. Fish is $ 25 – 30 and was fresh with tasty sides. They also $ 10 — 15 plates. The clam chowder was excellent. The bread was fresh and service was good. We waited 15 on a Saturday night at 6:30pm. Tip — ask the waiter/waitress the story behind the bullethole.

We were vacationing up and down the coast and had eaten at many wonderful spots during the week. On this cold winter evening we were ready for something warm as we approached the marina. The festive holiday lights(at the end of December) called out to me so we decided Silver’s was the place to be. Our seat at the window was lovely and at dusk, it was provided a great view of the ships coming back to dock. Our server was experienced and welcoming as we perused the menu. She assured us that the Cioppino was large enough to share and she was correct! It arrived in two bowls filled with tiger prawns, clams, rock cod, mussels & baby shrimp braised in tomato broth, with habanero-basil garlic coulis, asiago cheese & sourdough garlic toast. My half serving was even more than I could eat! Perhaps that was due to Mr. S had ordered garlic bread that was perfect for dipping. This might be one of the best Cioppinos I’ve ever had and I order it often as it is one of my favorite seafood dishes. As we left I realized that the entire place had filled up to capacity, even the bar area. This must be a local watering hole because it was filled with many folks that seemed to know each other. Looked like a fun place to have a drink or two some other time.

Awesome view from all seats of the most glorious sunset seen. Service here is fast and friendly. My server Heather was exceptionally patient with me allowing me time to soak in all here. The menu covers all. I had crab cakes wonderfully prepared with Dungeness crab absolutely fantastic. My complements to this wonderful chef. Tonight it’s wild caught Alaskan Halibut, yum severed with asparagus. The wine, Viognier pares wonderfully with food and this great spot. I have this place bookmarked for the future.
