Terrible. Food was gross and menus was very small. Husbands clam chowder had a shell in it. Place was very dirty and staff was inattentive.

Tonight we went here, left very disappointed. Cost $ 80+ for two adults and 2 children to eat dinner!!! Seriously? We had an appetizer, 2 small hamburgers($ 7.75 ea for a tiny hamburger– no cheese, no frills and it came with a bag of fritos??) My husband ordered fish and chips, I ordered treasure chest… neither of our fish was crispy. My seafood was crammed into a smallish basket(no plate?) with a lot of grease at the bottom. Felt very sad inside when I left that I didn’t endure the 40 min wait for Silvers on the Warf. Very, very overpriced and lacking.

This place has been a destination while visiting Fort Bragg for over 16 years now. It’s basic fare that is exceptionally done. The fish is great, the fries(chips) are great and the view is fun with the boats coming and going from the harbor.

Horrible! In the 90’s I went here quite a bit. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I was so excited to go back last weekend! What a huge disappointment! Food was absolutely terrible and double the price! $ 75 for 3 lunches 2 sodas and a water! Made us all sick to our stomachs from too much grease. Will NEVER go back. Oh and the picture of the menu on here is outdated… We paid $ 17 for the treasure chest.

We give this review a low 3. Staff was nice and place was clean enough. It was a total let down to be at the harbor and to be served frozen fish. I don’t even think the batter was made fresh. Missed opportunity on their part. We won’t be back.

This is more of a lunch spot… don’t expect top quality seafood or anything… It’s more of a seafood«burger joint» style and is a bit pricey for being such a place. The treasure chest is pretty good.

Don’t waste your time. EVERYTHING on menu is deep fried. We ordered a draft beer and one of the special wine cocktails and a shrimp cocktail. The beer wasn’t cold, the wine cocktail was box wine with a splash of sprite and the shrimp cocktail was tiny salad shrimps in a paper cup with a plastic spoon. We had planned on and was really looking forward to a great seafood meal. We ended up just leaving and going somewhere else. We will never give this place a second chance. I don’t know how they stay open.

I have been going here for about 26 years. My wife worked here when she was in high school, and her mom worked here for about 25 years. In the beginning, the food was awesome, the clam chowder couldn’t be beat, plus the prices were reasonable. The view out of the west side is awesome. Although I only come here 2 to 3 times a year now, I am losing interest in coming here. The fish was soggy, the glass of iced tea is only big enough for a child, and the prices are too much. We had a Treasure chest, and a shrimp and chips meal, 2 beers and an iced tea. $ 49.00!!! are you kidding me ?? The service and staff are A+, In the past, if you ordered a meal and didn’t want the 3 fried oysters that came with your meal, they let you substitute items. I always asked for the wonton’s because they are awesome they would give you 3 wontons. However, this time I was given only one wonton. If I wanted more, they cost $ 1.50 each. I don’t think I will be racing back soon, as I used to crave going here. It’s sad to see the decline of this place.

Not impressed at all. Fish n chips were not very good, really bland! $ 15 for a small basket! Paid way too much for a tiny basket it was really frustrating. The service is mediocre, and the décor is… interesting and dusty. Wont come back unfortunately.

We came here after checking on Unilocal, seemed like it would be decent after seeing some pics but it turned out to be not good at all. The fish was poorly breaded and the chicken strips were beyond too greasy, I couldn’t even eat a couple bites. Kinda pricey for the low quality too. Very disappointing.

Great service however the fries were stale and the fish was over cooked and tasteless. Will most likely never go back again. Cash only no credit cards :( Over priced

Bleah. Captain Flint needs to walk the plank. The food is bland, stale, over-priced. The fish sandwich(How do you eff up a fish sandwich?) Was inedible. Seriously, I got two bites in and begged for mercy. At least the fries were hot?

Overall a lackluster experience. Service was pretty good. The décor seemed a little outdated but charming. I really wished this place accepted credit or debit cards. Food was pricey for the small amount you received. It seems you’re paying more for the nice view of the harbor than for the food. My squid and chips was decent, but the squid was cut into even little rectangular slices — essentially looking like more chips. It gave me the feeling they were overly processed. My boyfriend got the fish and chips. He said the fish tasted a bit bland and piled sauces and seasoning on it. For these two entrees alone, it was $ 32 total. Both of us were still hungry afterwards. There are other restaurants nearby that would be more worth your time.

I just picked up food from there to eat in my hotel room. Place was hooky, the girl that took my order was nice. Smelled of grease. I get back to my room, take out food, I got the shrimp wontons that so many ranted and raved over. Uck! Greasy tasting. No flavor. Comes with salsa, of all things, to dip. And hecka nasty Cole slaw I picked as my side. Cost me $ 16 and change for this nasty thing. Save your money!
