Blanck’s Lake Aire Supper Club

This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had along with atrocious service.
First, we ordered drinks and they didn’t come out until the meal came out. We had appetizers and salad bar in between. We asked THREE TIMES for our drinks. We finally get the drinks, which were supposed to be sweet old fashioneds. They had no fruit in them. It was a crappy mix with brandy that tasted like it had gone bad. No garnish like we asked. No muddled fruit. Worst old fashioned I’ve ever had.
Next, my wife and I get our food. She said our daughters food would be there right behind it. FIFTEEN minutes later, it comes out, with the wrong side, no less. Not to mention the Mac n cheese had a skin on it from sitting under a heat lamp.
Did I mention my meal? I got the haddock Winnebago. This was an abomination of seafood so overcooked, you could not chew it. Seriously. No exaggeration. The asparagus was still half raw and almost to seed it was so tough. The «béarnaise» was some kind of watery onion mess that tasted like it was tossed with boones farm.
We didn’t finish the drinks, my daughter took two bites and wouldn’t eat it, and I took one bite. I refused to pay for my meal, my daughters meal and our drinks. It took another 15 minutes to get the bill and they still put the items on it. They finally came back and apologized and removed them.
Did I mention the dining room was half empty at 6pm? That should’ve been the sign right then. This was single-​handedly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had at a supper club. I am amazed this place exists. Awful, awful, awful.

6 of our group in for dinner tonite. Really good food items and service. Seems to be a fav stop for the retirement-​age groups. Prob would not return however.

As supper club afficianados, gotta give a gold star. Bartender made experience. Friendly, welcoming. Wait staff attentive. Good Lake Winnabago view in dining room. i

Live this place! Best steak in the area, and the fish and salad bar are amazing as well. Great little get away with a beautiful view of the lake and a huge bar. My husband and I love to dine here. A must for any Steak fan!

A Wisconsin supper club at it’s best… I think. I can’t speak from experience, because this was my first trip to a supper club, but it’s exactly how I imagined it. A large, open, awkward room. Salad and soup bar. Old fashioned bar. People eating way too much fried food. Menu chock full of steaks, fish, and steak and fish combos.
I had the middle sized fried perch dinner and it was an insane amount of food. Eight (8) pieces of fried perch, a giant baked potato, mixed veggies doused in butter, and some fried green beans shared with my coworker. The fish was very good, but everything else cafeteria quality and overcooked. Prices were rather high, but I guess they’re in line with the enormous portions.
