If you like to be ignored and treated like an employee, come down to Tilly’s!
I have been a huge fan of this skating/surf company. And i happened to have 150 $ in my pocket ready to spend on some dope clothing i might like. But it wasnt the clothing or buisness that bothered me(in fact if you want to look cool anytime and shop in a very clean store my go to, is tillys) which is why i gave it two stars instead of one. Tillys in Elk Grove is almost an exact copy of this one. and it makes me feel at home because I skate and its a skate shop. my problem was from the lack of welcomeness. When I stepped foot in there. I was looked at by this skinny guy named Edward who gave me a look of disgust and crept away from me into the clothing lines like he didnt want to deal with me. I blew him off and just started looking for some clothes. A few minutes later he tapped me on the shoulder and said, «you want something?» i was put off by this question and just said«no im just looking at the clothes» he rolled his eyes and sorta played with his finger nails. i also blew this off and noticed he was wearing this neff paradise shirt that i also had bought because i liked it alot in the spring time and still wear it to this day and trying to start conversation i said, «nice shirt i have one just like it!» he looked at it and said, «oh this gross shirt. all my clothes were dirty so i threw this on.» i was grossed out so i moved away and looked at the shoes. he left and i grabbed a few shirts. later he was talking way too much with these older ladies and noticed i had waited for at least 10 minutes to get a room. Once he got to me he said, «how many…» with an apathetic tone and before i could say fou…(four) HELITTERALYSNATCHEDTHEMOUTOFMYHANDS, COUNTEDTHEMANDTHREWTHEMONTOTHEBENCH! I tried all of the clothes on and wasnt feeling them. the only nice thing Edward did was knock on the door to see if I was alright(he probabbly thought i was trying to steal something) i said, «im good». later i walked out with my four clothes. and Edward was still talking to the old women and I asked where i should put these and he nodded at the table and said,” put them there.” So i put them on the table next to the fitting room. I then tried on two jogger shorts and still wasnt feeling them. when i walked out Edward was around doing his thing at the table and i put the two on the table and said i wasnt feeling them either. He said, thats a shame. here. put these back where they belong.”(with a gruff voice) he had a batch of clothes i tried on and gave them to me… I was steaming with anger. I thought to myself, «i am being ordered by this worker to put back clothes and I dont even work here!» I asked for his name he said, «Edward». I threw the clothes on the table and said, «Yeah. I dont think im gonna do that Edward. You do them.» he scuffed* and i walked out the door pissed off. I have never been treated more disrespectfull by a worker in all my days. i can get better service at the oldnavy down the street. Tillys needs to train this guy because he does not respect the brand i know and love and I cant shop at this store again and i will take my buisness elswhere.

There is a manager, of course they don’t wear name tags, I asked another employee her name, mohagany is her name. She is not very nice and it’s pretty obvious she hates people! ! No smile no hi how are you just a scowl. She didn’t thank me for shopping nothing… rude and disrespectful. Not shopping there again ever!!!

In response to Paula’s comment… I shop here a lot and I know exactly who your talking about, because Abby actually went out of her way to help me find something one time. I thought she was great.
