RePlanet Recycling

Located in the VICS IGA grocery store parking lot, this is a hidden gem. I was excited to try this recycling place because it has the «self service» machines. Basically, you feed each recyclable into a hole in the machine and it counts it for you. There is also a man there if you would prefer the old «weigh» method. I thought the self service was kind of fun at first, but then it got old really quick, especially when my hands started getting sticky with soda. Also, the machine will NOT accept any crushed cans, so it can get frustrating if all the recyclables are not «whole». Regardless, I liked it and will be back again. It is nice that this location is off the beaten path so its not as crowded… at least when i was there anyway.
