Very friendly and helpful staff. tipped them! If you can though I suggest coming early to avoid any rush near closing time and it’ll be a win-​win for everybody.

This review is pretty much moot since there are no other options that I can find in Folsom or El Dorado Hills — but I felt like I had to write it anyway. Selling recycling to Replanet in Folsom feels unsafe and, at the very least, unpleasant. Besides the clientele bordering on aggressive, the employee (s) are universally rude. Arriving at 4:30 today, the employee yelled «sir, we are no longer accepting customers after 4:30». Nice. There was a hand written sign on cardboard above the door «no glass». The whole experience made me thing one overriding thought — «this is not worth it.» So, from this point forward, El Dorado Disposal will get my glass, plastic and aluminum for free instead of me selling it to this horrible operation.

RePlanet Recycling rocks, staff is friendly upbeat and helpful. You can bring even non-​CRV plastic and glass here. You can leave the caps on the bottles unlike the recycle center in El Dorado Hills.
If you are going to recycle, and you should, and this is the place to do it.

First time at a recycling center that has an employee with a great attitude. I tipped the guy for the extra effort.

As far as recycling centers go, this one is as good as one CAN be – I mean, it’s not the most glamorous of activities – and it tends to draw an interesting crowd (!) I find a mix of transients and soccer moms here – which always cracks me up – I mean, how many places have that mix of clientele! The staff here are remarkably friendly considering everything… I went there today and I saw they were cleaning those garbage bins – good thing – they look desperate for a good scrubbing. I could do without that stale beer smell – but, come on – it’s not exactly Nordstrom’s we’re dealing with here – it’s basically par for the course!
