I dealt the frame and lenses department. Annie and Lesley were very helpful and did a great job for me. I was happy and the speed and quality of my lenses replacement in my existing frames.

Can only speak about the optometrist office. Had an appt today at 4:30. Ran a number of errands and planned my day to get there at 4:30. Made it at 4:15. Filled out info sheet. Admin took my back at 4:30 and did check in test. Pressure, peripheral, etc. asked me to go back out and wait. At 5pm she said they were running behind. «Should be 15 mins more». Finally gave up and left at 6:15. Really! 1 ½ hrs behind? No wonder after 8 yrs of education you end up at Walmart. Poor customer service. What made it worse is I heard the dr talking about the weather etc while the tiny room had 6 people waiting. Terrible. Karma café will take care of things. No wait… it already has. She ended up at Walmart.

I hate Wal-Mart but when you don’t have health insurance and need an eye exam, options are limited. I HATE that I have to say that, even more than I loathe Wal-Mart. The doc is great at this location. I picked up my new glasses today(it’s been 6 years since I got a new rx) and Lesley was a ray of sunshine! I love my glasses. They were cheaper than any of the ones I could find online and I got to try them on first! The selection is pretty crappy at this location but I lucked out. Just due to Wal-Mart association I can’t give more than 3 stars. Now as soon as I stop feeling like I am 60 feet above ground with my new 4 eyes, I’ll be good!

I was at the vision center for 30minutes today. 2-employees were on staff. When I arrived 1 employee was helping a customer, the other seemed to walk in/out of the back room. I took the time to look at frames. After about 5 minutes. The customer left, and I thought I would be next, but the 2employees talked, and then 1 employee left. The other went up to the register and talked with a Walmart employee not associated with the vision center. When she left, the vision center employee got on the phone and chatted it up with what sounded like a friend. In the 30-minutes Neither employee ever ask if they could be of assistance or if I needed any help. I did get 1 pair of prescription glasses and 1 pair of prescription sunglasses today, but not at Walmart.
