I like that this store offers a wide selection of brands and has testers available. Unfortunately, many items are very overpriced. They had a lot of products I’ve purchased online, but sometimes for double the price! The worst part about this store is the overbearing service. I first came in with my dad and sisters and was asked by three different employees if I was looking for something. Despite saying no, anytime I picked up a product, they’d rush over to show me how to try it or tell me some fact about it. When I was trying to help my sister pick out sheet masks, they came over and started making all these suggestions, which was overwhelming and unsolicited. We just left without making a purchase. The next time, I came in and was the only person I the store. The whole pack of workers moved to the front where I was browsing and one girl in particular followed me freaking everywhere. I know a lot of Asian beauty stores try to help out and make suggestions, but this was so weird and uncomfortable. Even after telling her I didn’t need help, she consistently stayed about 5ft from me and literally took a step each time I took a step. If I moved forward, she moved forward. If I took a step back, so did she! Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Was there during the morning of January 7th and I encountered a saleswoman who I’m pretty sure is the manager and she was overall a disgusting person. She has a NASTY attitude and treated the other employees like they were beneath her. She was belittling him(the original salesman that assisted me) in front of me and made him look completely incompetent. Will never be coming back to this store and will be telling everyone to stay away from this store!

I don’t like this store. The sales are not friendly. I hate because I want to ask them about some products but I need to wait a long time. They ignored me. Omg. I never go there forever.

I lurveee this store! Been here about 3 – 5 times since they opened. The salespeople are friendly yet not pushy to sell. The first time I made a purchase, they gifted some face masks along with other samples. The prices are standard for Korean beauty products. They accept CC. Credit card minimum is $ 10.

i was excited to come here because they have a lot of different korean makeup and skincare brands that i havent really seen around here the store also looks very clean and nice however i had THEMOST annoying saleslady ever i know that at many korean places are like this but this lady went hardcore in my book i guess it was more annoying because she wasnt even like one of those salesgirls that at least act like theyre super happy idk but she seemed very forced and not so enthusiastic which is fine when youre not following me everywhere and staring at me and breathing down my neck and forcing me to sample random things and pressuring me to buy all these things idk i felt so pressured and uncomfortable in that store i left without buying anything which is annoying bc they had a lot of cool stuff

I was excited in seeing a new brand that I never heard of come to NY! I was only familiar with The Yeon’s Jeju Hallabong line from Memebox so I couldn’t wait to visit and see what else they carried — and to my surprise they also carried bestsellers from other brands like Innisfree, It’s Skin and Too Cool for School! They had Étude House’s Missin U hand cream in only the Dolphin and Seal. I was hoping that they would have more Étude House items but alas they didn’t! They carried a decent selection of Innisfree’s volcanic line and Green Tea line. I also saw Elizavecca’s Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. I picked up The Yeon’s Jeju Hallabong Peeling Gel($ 32) in the cute(and very realistic) orange-like container. It’s bigger than you think — at 100ml, think of a really big grapefruit. I also bought the It’s Skin Macaron lipbalm in Mint Apple($ 7.50). The Jeju Hallabong line was 20% because of their grand opening sale and everything else in the store was 10% off so I paid $ 25.60 for the peeling gel and $ 6.75 for the lip balm which is comparable to Asia prices or if you were to order online through TesterKorea or KoreaDepart taking into account shipping fees. I would wait next time for their next holiday sales special for further discounts if you don’t need to get anything right away. Very clean and big store and the saleslady was helpful to me although she spoke limited English. Hooked me up with some good samples at the end of the purchase with 1 full sized face mask, some more The Yeon face creams and cleansers. This is where the old Face Shop used to be when you go around the corner where the McDonald’s is on Roosevelt Ave. Looks so much cleaner and less crowded than the old store. The Face Shop moved over to a more prominent spot right on Roosevelt Ave not too far away so it’s around the same vicinity as the newer Skin Food, Nature Republic, Club Clio stores(and Tony Moly if you want to count the new store inside New World Mall). I know these salesladies are taught to «follow you» around the store to make suggestions but I kindly let her know that if I had questions, I would let her know and she let me browse at my leisure the rest of the time. I would definitely come back next time I’m due for new skincare items!
