Cruising around super late at night, on the hunt for the next, right spot – my friend and I decided to stop in. We passed it and decided to make a u-​turn. We were looking for a chill spot with the right vibe that wasn’t too crowded.
It was a good move that we made because this place is a gem.
Our coffee was great, the hookah was great, the music was great, the crowd was cool and the service was EXCELLENT.
We were greeted with such kindness upon walking in. This was exactly the place we were looking for.
I had a vanilla cappuccino – yummy
I had the server’s hookah recommendation – mint, something, something (a custom, delicious combo) – we did the ice handle and the pineapple head. – PERFECTLY, smooth and delicious; great quality.
This place is under new ownership/​management since March. My friend and I were speaking with the owner a bit. He was a very nice gentleman and you could tell that he took pride in his business. We complimented him on everything from the hookah to the servers and the crowd.
We couldn’t stay as long as we wanted because of how late it was and how early our morning was supposed to start – BUT WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

It’s so awesome to randomly walk into a new place and walk out patting yourself on the back because you found yourself a new spot to frequent.
Silk Hookah Lounge and Grill; you just found yourself a couple of new regulars and yes… we will be back to try those kabobs!

They recently hired new staff. Great service. Speedy. Just a bit pricey but in flushing I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Excellent service, fantastic food, phenomenal service from staff, great quality shisha. Very chill atmosphere with televisions. If you’re looking for a good time with a group of friends, definitely come here. Play dominoes or cards with buddies. Or reserve a party for any occasion. Also a good spot to bring your date. Best hookah lounge I’ve been to in NYC so far.

I dont know what type of lounge this is. It’s terrible even with the new management. Same old crappy hookah and crappy food. Hours are deceiving. Gave it a few tries since I live by here but deff not coming beck

From Maryland where there Aren’t many hookah lounges but this one is my favorite after going to all of the ones in Astoria. Better hookah, great service, and good company. If you’re in the area, no need to go to Astoria anymore.

It’s under new ownership and management now. The new owner Bobby is the best. And Deepak the manager as well as the employees are all amazing. John is a sweetheart. And the customer service is spectacular.
The hookah is great and lasts for hours. I can sit here for hours with my friends comfortably and it’s not a problem. The food and tea are great and the prices are reasonable as well. I love coming here and it’s my new hangout place for sure.
Most places you have to wait forever for a coal change but these guys are on point. Love this place!

Went here the other night with two friends. Service was exceptional and I had an amazing time. A really great guy, not sure how to spell his name, Deepaq constantly checked on our table and ensured our hookah was making insane clouds the entire night. Met the owner as well that night, another great guy. I have been to several hookah bars and this is my new favorite. Will be a regular here for sure.

I’ve only been to this spot once, and my experience wasn’t good enough to wanna go back.
HOOKAH: For starters, the hookah here sucks! I went here on a Monday night with a group of my friends and we got 4 hookahs in total (don’t remember the names) and none of them were good. The flavors sucked, even though they sounded good, and the pull was awful. The hookah wasn’t smooth at all and you could barely get enough smoke. I’ve been smoking hookah for about 4 years now, and I regularly go to the lounges on steinway. This place isn’t even close to comparable to the worst hookah lounge on steinway.
SERVICE: The service was horrible. It was a Monday night and only 3 other tables were occupied leaving ours and we still had to work to get our servers attention. The lady on the floor was slow and wouldn’t even change the music as per our request.
FOOD: I can’t say much about the food since I didn’t have any, except that the food menu looked pretty good.
All in all I don’t recommend this place to anyone, unless you’re a local and steinway is too far for you. Silk is a stretch for me anyways, and it’s definitely not worth making the trip to.

This place is easy to go to since it’s close to me but is very average. The hookah and food are mediocre, but what really sucks is the service. The woman that works here is ridiculous. A friend of mine, who cannot smoke while on his medication came with us one time. We got the check and they had charged us an extra about $ 10. The woman claimed it was a rule, if you don’t smoke, and just sit there, you have to pay a fee. This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Plus, he had ordered food, but she still insisted. Then after 10 minutes of trying to force us to pay it and PLEADING since her manager would apparently fire her on the spot, she retreated. My friend left the $ 10 or so to make her feel like crap and we were on our way out. She stopped us and decided to interrogate us more about now WHY we were paying her extra fee. Just take it and shut up.
This woman is always on our case when we go there and I haven’t gone in a while.

Came here late Friday night for the first time and the place was pretty empty. My friends and I were expecting it to be a little more lively, not so much like a party but just more upbeat especially for a weekend.
We kept it simple and ordered grape on an ice bowl, sex on the beach and Watermelon with an ice pipe. We weren’t fans of the watermelon flavor but the other two were good. We also ordered the homemade burger and fries. The food took a while to come out but it was good. They also forgot to give us a milkshake that we ordered, but we just reminded them and they brought it out right away.
The guys checking the coal were on point. They did have some hip-​hop music playing in the background but the music playing didn’t match the music videos on the TVs lol.
Overall, I say this place is ok if you just want to chill with some friends.

Dropped into this little place last night. The service was excellent as were the two hookahs we enjoyed. The ‘Sex on a Beach’ blend was super yummy. The place was clean and not too loud but I’m giving them 4 stars because the atmosphere/​décor could use a little more pizazz.

Dont do the groupon better off taking the Unilocal discount.
I came here on a thursday afternoon, 3pm. I bought the groupon so pretty excited. I walked in and asked to sit on the couch area but COULDN’T because apparently «a party of ⁵⁄₆ people MIGHT COME IN?! SERIOUSLY?! I stayed for 2hrs and only one other guy came in. The Booths are uncomfortable. The service wasn’t impressive either.
The hookah for the regular options you cannot mix but $ 4 extra?!

Wonderful place to hang out with friends! The stuffs are so nice ever since you’ve walked in. Number one for the spot on the Northern blv. 100% recommended for weekend celebration. Plus the prices were very cheap compared to others near by.

I love Silk. My friends and I frequent this joint because you can get the authentic feel of New York hookah without going way out to Astoria or the city. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. On top of all this, the hookah is really well-​made. I love LOVE the ice pipe!!! I haven’t had the liberty of trying it anywhere else before I visited here. Every day is a new experience at Silk. Weekdays, one can expect to come here, relax and enjoy the hookah. On weekends, the liveliness at Silk makes me feel so alive. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to stay close by and enjoy good hookah plus ambiance.

I came here on a cold winter night earlier this year before moving to SF. I had stopped doing hookah years ago but with friends at a new place, why not for old times sake?
We were starving at this point and luckily the food menu was more than just hummus, pita, falafel, and shawarma. They had chicken wings, tenders, samosa, biryani, and kun kabab. We ordered a couple hookah’s, i know one of them was a fresh fruit pineapple which was really good. The food did take some time to come out but then again I would be worried if the food came out within 5 minutes. I love biryani, i would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I’m not saying they had one better than my moms but its definitely flavorful, spicier, and more unique than 90% of the places in NY that «try» to serve it.
I think the hookah and regular food entrees are priced decently but the appetizers could be a bit lower, the food platter should be $ 15 for what you currently get or for $ 20 you should get a bit more. I look forward to coming here next time and trying the newer items that are seen on their Facebook page.

We normally stay in forest hills’s hookah spot. Came here for a change. The disco lights, techno music and hip hop video threw me off. The waitress did try to sell whatever high proced hookahs they had… she tried but she wasnt pushy.
The waitress didn’t know jack sh! t about the menu. Ordered some veggie burger n buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The fries were soggy and full of oil as depicted on my pic.
Overall, it was okay… very pricey compared to most places I’ve been to but okay for the people that live in that neck of woods.
