The ramen is pretty good. The décor is pretty chill, the service is decent, not much to complain about. The tonkatsu ramen is probably the best thing you should get from here.

Came here last Sunday. The ramen was ok. Broth was good. I had the Spicy Miso Ramen. Charsiu was good. The menu has more options for appetizers than ramen. Options for flat or curly noodles — which seemed the same to me since my friend went for the flat ones and I chose the curly ones. There’s an option charsiu, beef or tofu on your ramen. They look like they have a few deals for food here. The place is small. The staff could have been a little bit more attentive because there was only one more party was there.

Arrived on a Thursday night and was a bit surprised how busy this place was. Wait was about 10mins or so. Spicy Miso Ramen w/pork(charsiu) Was surprisingly pleased with the quality of the broth and charsiu.(Order extra charsiu for $ 3!) comparably good to some of the other places I’ve tried in the city. Portion size is a bit small considering the local location, but still overall good. No menu for additional toppings, must ask waiter for prices and availability of extra meat, egg, etc needs to be ordered. Croquettes — these arrived hot and crispy, overall was only ok. $ 6 for 4 halves(2 full pcs) wasn’t anything special, will try something else next time. Dish arrived after our entrée, waiter was very apologetic and offered us a dessert for the misunderstanding. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, also resolved a possible issue very quickly and with a positive attitude. Had an overall good experience and would come back again.

A mid-scale, good quality ramen establishment with a solid menu of tasty ramen and Japanese dishes in the Queens area! First things first, the ramen is above average. May not be super traditional, but it’s still enjoyable to eat. The noodles are nice and bouncy. The egg is very rich and flavorful, cooked just right. They gave 4 – 5 slices of cha shu! Not very fatty but still tender. The broth was a little on the watery side. We also got the karaage deep fried chicken! It was juicy and very flavorful, and came with a little mustard on the side. The décor is a simplistic and contemporary Japanese vibe with light jazz in the background. I would definitely come back once in a while for good food and some sake~

great food selection. Had the jello shot which was cute. nice décor. service is not bad. I tried their ramen and it is pretty on par. Also tried the cheese okonomiyaki and the mentaiko rice(it’s one of those specials on the wall).I also ordered a mentaiko pasta to go. The only complaint I have is that they are sooooo slowwwww. I was also in a hurry so that wasn’t good. They came out with the ramen first. We finished and had to wait. the other two came out together. I purposedly ordered the mentaiko pasta when the latter dishes came out. I still had to wait when I was ready to leave. That’s why the 4 stars. I know it wouldn’t have been an issue if I wasn’t in a hurry but it still takes longer than it should as I overheard our neighbor asking the waitress to check on their order. Free appetizer if you show them your already written review, which means on your second visit. kinda weird. overall the food is great and selection is awesome. I can see myself coming with a big group and have fun.

Decent ramen place that doesn’t require me to go to Astoria, Manhattan or Mitsuwa. Ordered the tonakatsu ramen, spicy miso ramen(my favorite ramen) and yaki soba. Overall for the ramen, great broth and meh noodles. The tonakatsu broth here is pretty good! Not too salty. The spicy miso ramen was way too spicy to enjoy the broth. Next time I’ll have to try just the miso ramen. The pork is so soft! The yaki soba was also pretty good. Expensive coming in at $ 12, though for the quantity. Like other reviewers said, the«curly» ramen noodles is average, clumping together in some areas. But the broth is legit. Service was nice. I’ll be back.

Went here cause I wanted to try something new. Friends recommended it as there was no other ramen spots in the area other than Ajisen in flushing. Service was good and décor was very nice. Parking wasn’t an issue as it’s free street parking outside after 7PM. I ordered the spicy beef ramen with«curly noodles». They gave me the option to choose between curly or straight. Straight has a more smoother texture and curly is more chewy. Prices were kind of high for queens. Was $ 13 for a bowl of Ramen. Also, I would suggest ordering an appetizer as well cause that one bowl of ramen barely filled me up. Overall, place isn’t that bad. I would probably come back if I was in queens and in the mood for ramen.

Yay! Love having a ramen spot that’s somewhat close to where I live! Okay, so I’ve been here a few times and my first time was actually back when they opened last year. My first couple experiences were so-so. I wasn’t all too impressed with the ramen, but it was good enough if you had a craving for a nice bowl of ramen noodles in a yummy broth. One of my other favorite things to get from here is the grilled salmon onigiri(NOMZ so good!). I recently went back a few weeks ago and I’m not sure what changed, but I thought my spicy miso ramen was like 10x better than I remembered! Either they stepped up their game or I was just really in the mood for ramen lol. Regardless, I was very impressed and satisfied with my meal. A few things to add: The service is good, but not great. Nothing to get worked up about though. They serve sushi only on the weekends. They have specials and added menu items shown on the wall. Prices are fair. Overall, a quality ramen place on Northern Blvd without a 2 – 3 hour wait and convenient location!

Great place in flushing if you have a hankering for ramen. The tonkatsu ramen is my favorite. I heard the spicy miso ramen is super super spicy, but I might try it one of these days. The place is small but I think they might have seating in the back. Service is pretty quick and attentive.

Delicious! I had the miso and soy ramen with ground beef and my sister had the tonkatsu. I like how the broth to the miso and soy is very savory and slightly sweet. Also loved the bamboo, corn, and beef. Perfect hearty meal for a cold winter’s day. Also got takoyaki — nice and creamy on in the inside with a chewy piece of octopus. A little small but still yummy. Cons are that it’s pretty pricey for flushing and the portions, although filling, are relatively small for ramen bowls. But the pros, of it being deeeelicious, totally outweigh the price!

Very decent spot for Ramen; this would be my second time here! The staff there is always friendly and attentive. I ordered the Miso Ramen, which also comes in spicy for only a dollar more. They’ll ask you if you want your ramen curly or straight. The ramen has a great flavorful miso broth but the noodles were a bit hard. Sushi was pretty decent as well! I would recommend if you’re around the neighborhood!

I don’t see the hype. Service was okay, food took about 45 min to come out during lunch. Spicy Miso ramen wasn’t all that great. Tonkatsu Ramen was good and flavorful. Onikiyaki pancake was good and green tea rice was not bad. Also not sure what they’re trying to make with the green tea tiramisu. It wasn’t all that great, it was like frozen cream and bread. I have had better ramen and dessert elsewhere. All in all, I wouldn’t immediate choose to go here… Ever… but would give it another try if I had to…

I’ve only been to one other ramen place, but Hashi was more my taste than the other one. The shop is small and kind of oddly shaped but for a ramen shop to even exist in eastern Queens is already a blessing. The ramen broth was flavorful, and noodles were bouncy. I tried the spicy miso one but tonkatsu was wayyy better imo. Spicy miso had a woody, smokey flavor if you are into that. The tables were full as we sat down but that doesnt excuse the 25 min wait for our dishes, we didn’t order any appetizers and ended up sitting there for longer than I wanted. Besides that, I would return if I am looking for a simple meal in the neighborhood.

Came here twice so far because it’s a pretty good alternative for ramen in this area(auburndale), but I wouldn’t order the appetizers. During my last visit, I ordered 3 tonkotsu ramen, gyoza, kani cream croquette, and karaage during dinner hours(8−9pm). Total with tip came out to be $ 68.13… Ramen was good, have had better in the city but honestly this place is a nice alternative. There was a mistake with our order of croquettes and we were given the beef croquette instead of kani cream. But they compensated for the mistake. Our problem is someone in my party had a beef restricted diet and unknowingly ate one. Not really sure about the service that day, we had 2 waitresses going back and forth to our table placing our karaage order on the table, took it back, and placed it again. Not a big deal, but my table had fluctuating anticipation for eating the food and disappointment watching it get whisked away to the kitchen. Although the ramen is good, I can’t really say I was a fan of the appetizers. Two 4 inch diameter croquettes cut in half and a «handful» of 1 inch chicken pieces for $ 7 each isn’t what I would deem justifiable. When my party ate the appetizers they also told me the same, we all thought the price would be justified if the taste was phenomenal but it tasted like stuff I made at home. One thing that I’ll say is that the kani cream croquette is more creamier than the beef, but I didn’t see any kani. If I had to make a choice between the croquettes I’d get the kani cream. My 1st visit here was during lunch hours which was a better experience. I wasn’t expecting a bonito filling for the onigiri(which is my least favorite) and wished I was told about it beforehand(would’ve opted for salad). Overall decent place for ramen and I would come here to satisfy any ramen cravings.

Really a 3.5 stars but I rounded upward for being one of the few ramen places around the Fresh Meadows/Flushing area. It’s not Ippudo-standard, but it’s not bad and I had a fairly good meal here. We ordered the lunch special Tonkotsu Ramen(comes with 3 piece gyoza and squid onigiri or salad) and the Spicy Miso Ramen. Out of the two, I personally liked the Tonkotsu a lot more. The broth is very hearty and it was full of flavor(especially when you add some spicy flakes to it). The fatty pork slices were very tender and almost melted in my mouth. But, you can tell the ramen isn’t freshly made and are packaged but it did have a good chew to it. If there’s one advice I can give you, it’s to skip the onigiri! The rice ball barely had any meat inside and the whole thing was covered in unseasoned rice. I didn’t get to try the gyoza so can’t vouch for it. P. S. Write a review and you get a free appetizer the next time you come in.

Excellent service, great food and nice atmosphere. My friend and I had the spicy miso and tonkatsu. The spice miso is really spicy at first but you just want more. It doesn’t leave the burning numbing sensation in your mouth afterwards. Pork tonkatsu was a little salty but they brought out some more broth for me and diluted it down. Would defiantly come back.

The service and food were both very good. My wife ordered the tonkatsu ramen while I ordered the miso ramen. The tonkatsu ramen was definitely better, while the miso ramen was just good, but not great. They do give you a choice of minced beef or fatty pork, I chose fatty pork, and that was probably the best choice ever! We also ordered 2 appetizers, the fried squid legs and the seafood pancake. While the fried squid legs were great, however, it was a really small portion for the amount that you pay. The seafood pancake was drenched with flavor. There’s extra seating in the back, so just because it might look crowded, don’t be shy and go in to ask if there’s more seating. Highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back here when we have a ramen craving. Update: this is my second time here. Service was fast and we were seated fairly quickly. Parking around the place is plentiful, with street paid street parking and residential parking right around the corner. My wife and I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and their deeped fried ramen. From prior experience the ramen was great, we’re just waiting here now. I hope the ramen is as good as I remembered.

A friend told me there is a ramen place in Queens, and I was like what??? So we decided to go around 9pm. I was very excited to have some ramen since I’ve been craving and my friend was telling me how good it is. There were four different choices of ramen: tonkatsu, shoyu, miso, and spicy miso. My friend said the tonkatsu was really good, so we all decided to get that to try for ourselves. We got the scallops for appetizers and it was pretty good. It smelt delicious when it was served. I must say. I was really disappointed. The broth wasn’t salty(a good thing), but it was flavorless(really sad)… which made the entire bowl of noodle really bland. I was looking around for some flavor to add to my bowl of noodles. and luckily there was some type of spice powder on the table. I added a good amount of the spice, but it still did not really add flavors to the broth. My friend said the last time he came here, the broth was really salty. Hence, they’re not consistent :/The noodles were nothing special either. However, the pork was good. But, that doesn’t cut it for me. I think I would travel elsewhere for better ramen. I guess… If you were really craving for ramen late night, since they close at midnight, this place would be good. I would come back and try the other ones, maybe those would taste better? Hopefully.

Free appetizer for writing a review. Came to check this spot out because I haven’t tried a Japanese ramen spot in queens. Heard some mixed reviews so I’m definitely down to try it myself. We ordered the spicy miso ramen and the pork tonkatsu. Both were very flavorful. The spicy miso was a bit spicy but I loved it. The tonkatsu was a blend of egg rice and pork which was the perfect balance of all 3. We also ordered the tokoyami tempera for appetizer. It was okay. Only one piece of octopus in each ball

3.5 stars. Turn your a$$ right around and do not step into this establishment if you expect ipuddo– like ramen. Let’s get this straight the ramen is ok and satisfying but for Pete’s sake it’s flushing. Unless you are eating Chinese/Korean food, flushing is no destination for amazing Japanese food. My Asian foodies know what I mean(non Asians. Well you have a lot to learn). This place is very reasonably priced(12 bucks for a big bowl of ramen– when it’s usually at least 15 or 16bucks in the city). I have come here a lot since it first opened. There were never any patrons here in the beginning and the last few times I’ve come, it has gotten very packed! The friendly waitress knows me(bc we come so often) and my family and she is always so super sweet to me and my kids. My kids always split the tonkatsu ramen and I usually stick to the other cooked dishes. Almost always I get the mentaiko spaghetti. Simple but packs good heat. Tonight they actually had specials and I got the Uni ikura don. Could’ve used a bit more Uni but it was 15 bucks… Worth it and still really good. Their onigiri was good too. Came earlier and there was a huge table of Caucasian women. I guess it’s getting more popular bc I’ve only Ever seen Asians come in. Word to the wise my non-Asian patrons… If you aren’t Asian. Stop screaming Asian jokes. «Sake to me!!!» Or «U-nag-I» … Middle aged women who just sat down and weren’t even drunk(and obviously not too classy). Sad and oh so irritating!!! Stick to your bayside or Long Island… Don’t ever come back to flushing, I beg you. Anyway! Recommend but ipuddo/totto ramen it is not. Again if that’s what you want… Drive the 45 minutes into the city, have a hard time finding parking and then wait an hour or two for your at least 16 dollar ramen. I’ll stick to this place for a quick fix.
