Delicias Pizza & Fried Chicken

Food was nasty, I don’t understand how anyone could give this place good reviews. The only item that was decent were the buffalo wings but everything else I tried was trash.

ordered online, came in less than an hour. its not expensive and very delicious. only problem was that the BBQ wings, the sauce kind of spilled out of the box onto the other things but overall very delicious and will 100 percent order again.

The menu is very similar to Daro’s Chicken and Pizza but this place also offers Mexican food.
Very interesting takes on pizza – including Penne Vodka pizza.
Incredible value and pretty tasty. Positive experience.

So I decided to go in physically to order some tacos. The restaurant is extremely small with 3 – 4 tables that can seat 2 people per table. This is more of s takeout restaurant if you ask me.
I ordered the same exact tacos I got for take out and boy was I disappointed. I ordered the spicy chicken taco and it probably was made the same as before but… It didn’t taste as good the second time. Overall I’m pretty disappointed. You can’t expect much as this is a pizzeria. I don’t think I’ll be ordering any Mexican food from this restaurant in the future.

DO NOT EVER ORDER FOR DELIVERY
I placed an other through Unilocal at 4:52PM for delivery today. Estimated delivery time was 40 – 60 minutes. I did not receive my pizza until after 6:30. Honestly, I should have just told the delivery guy to take it back!
1. It genuinely looked like someone sat on the box. I opened the box in front of the delivery guy and showed him that the cheese was stuck to the top of the box, and all he said was, «oh.»
2. I ordered a large mushroom pizza and an orange soda. It wasn’t a very difficult order, yet they still managed to forget the soda. The delivery guy just said no one gave it to me. He did not offer to bring one back, did not offer to refund me the money or anything!
3. The total of the order was $ 18 and change WITH the soda. Now, they did not bring the soda, so the total was less than that. I gave him a $ 20 and he did not even offer to give me change. He literally took it and turned around and walked away. I was dealing with a very upset six year old (due to the missing soda) and didn’t even realize he had already walked away. By the time I looked him he had already turned the corner.
I generally tend to not leave reviews, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with pizza. The cheese was stuck to the box, the pizza was cold, and they forgot the soda. Obviously, I will NEVER order from them again. Absolutely terrible.

My daughter loves this place. I think the food is hit or miss, most of the time its good. Deliveries tend to be later than quoted and they must always be busy or something because the orders aren’t always right. They forget things or add condiments on stuff you didn’t ask for. 4 Stars since they will always fix what is wrong if you tell them. So its obvious they look to please and I like that.

Delicia’s is located right across from an elementary school and a lot of middle schoolers come here during school days. They offer slices of Cheese Pizza for $ 1.25 on those days until 4PM.
Wanted to try something different so I got Onion Rings and a slice of Broccoli & Mushroom Pizza. One of my friends stopped by a couple minutes later and ordered a Mozzarella Cheese slice. Big mistake. The Onion Rings tasted funky, and the oil that was used to fry the rings was probably 1 – 2 days old. The Broccoli & Mushroom Pizza was not fresh and the shiny layer of grease did little to alleviate the heavy clouds that were looming over my head.
I totally agree with a fellow Unilocaler that if you want to avoid a not-​so satisfying eating experience, then order the items on the menu that are the most popular. I’m sticking to the regular cheese pizza slices from now on. For pizza pies, I’d rather get those at Singas.

good services and the time for delivery is less than 30 minutes. The food has a good taste and good price. I really like it. No bad experience here.

Even though I had a bad impression on this restaurant, I have to said their food is good compare to other pizza stores, especially the fried and heroes, the fried is crunchy and the bread smelled good and was tasty.

Cheap, good, and fast. Can’t beat that combination. I was very pleasantly surprised when I ordered, for 5 $ I got a very large meal… that was really good too! There are a lot of great options and delivery is quick.

Their fried chicken is excellent, and so are their quesadillas. In addition, their customer service is fantastic!

All the five stars are for the great pizza and the friendly Mexican guy who ket us hungry souls in when he was just about to close. What more, he even said he will make another pie, even if I wanted only 2 more slices. Can’t get too many such good people nowadays. Go have a slice or two !!!

It’s been a couple years and I’m still ordering from here. Overall food and service is excellent. Anytime I’m hungry and want delivery, they are my 1^st choice.

A decent eat. Not the best but far from the worst. great variety! thats the best part. delivery is good and customer service is great. just need to upgrade some of the food.
favorites are burrito, whole pizza extra cheese, canoli and milkshakes.

The closest to find REAL AND AUTHENTIC Mexican food. They mainly sell pizzas and sandwiches, but they added Mexican food. Flushing don’t have Mexican food, so the fact this hidden place makes and sells Mexican food is a gem. It is expensive though, but they pack on the portions. I mainly get their philly cheese steak sandwich and chicken parm sandwich. By far in the area they make it the best. Their pizza is great too. If you order a plain whole pie and you pick it up then it’s only 8 bucks! Great deal for a local pizzeria. The place has limited seating, but since it’s local I can always carry it home to eat. They have school lunch hour deals, since they are located in front of a elementary school. I hope they stay open long. I would cry if they close.

This place does ordinary food, well. Super cheap and fast and perfect for lazy days when you can’t think of making dinner (so you order delivery).
Recommend: fried eggs with beans and rice, small veggie pizza, fried fish sandwich, any of the juices.

My friends and I ordered some sandwiches for lunch today. Out of the sandwiches we ordered, one of them have mold on the underside of the bun the size of a quarter in which none of us noticed till my friend put the sandwich down to answer his phone.
Called back and asked for refund and was informed they can’t issue a refund and I am stuck with the sandwich. This is poor service. I used to work in a restaurant and depending on the problem such as a mistake in the order, or if there were any problems I would exchange the item, give a discount, or issue a refund and give free food depending on the situation. Yet this place did none of that sort and basically told my friends and I that we are stuck with this order.
Do not buy from this place. Worst service I have seen and the food is expired.

The fried chicken is pretty awesome for a low rent hole in the wall. Great batter, decent meat quality, just the right amount of greaze. Bliss. Pizza was good as well though it seemed to be sitting for a while before they reheated it. I would pop in for lunch again if I was in the area, no doubt.

I used Seamless the other night to get my greasy burger and pizza fix, and Delicias did not disappoint. I ordered their Cheeseburger, fries and drink combo with their two small pizzas for $ 6.99 deal. I appreciated the fact that they give you a selection of cheeses for the burger (mozzarella, swiss, provolone), as I’m not a big fan of plain ol’ American cheese. The fries were of the typical pizzeria/​chicken place variety, which is to say they were fried fried fried and delicious. The pizza was above average especially for the price. Not too crunchy, but not too doughy.
My only negative comes from their delivery. I live in an apartment building, and unbeknownst to me, the buzzer system was defective. The guy calls me, and the first words out of his mouth were, «Why you no open the door man? I’ve been waiting here pressing the button.» When I apologized profusely and explained that the system was probably broken, he muttered under his breath and told me that he was coming upstairs. When he got to my door, I apologized again, but he kept telling me that I should’ve pressed the buzzer as he was waiting for me. Honestly, I regret the tip that was calculated into my Seamless order.
Otherwise, I’ll probably order from Delicias again. I’ll just meet the guy downstairs.

I’ve always passed by this little pizza place without considering going in. But after running 10 miles in the Bronx, we had a strange craving for fried chicken. What a great find! You can get pretty much anything here… Italian, Mexican, gelato, fried chicken…
Our fried chicken and mozz sticks were surprisingly good.
