«beware» i called them to clean my sewer the guy said he will arrive in an hour i said ok without asking any question the guy showed up and asked me for$ 300 saying that this is a memorial day on their website they advertise it 39.99 holiday and weekend included! i told him i didn’t ask ask for the service today just to be nice to the guy he Was very rude and started cursing. These people are scam never calling them again «beware»

He was a scam artist. In the house for 30 seconds before he decided it would cost me $ 80 verses the $ 40 he quoted me. Said the clog was in two drains, sink and tub. He snaked the tub, and sent me to the basement to make sure there was no leaks… when I came back up he was done! Never saw him work on the sink… whatever…the drain was clear when he left… but I guarantee it won’t just be the $ 39.95 they advertise! And… be prepared to clean up after him…

The guy they sent me to unclog my sewer was rude as hell, (I seriously think something is wrong with him) and I would never deal with them again. ZERO stars.

Stay Away. The owner is a scam artist. My sewer main was clogged. His website says 39.95 any clog. Tech showed up was very unprofessional and said it was 149.99 because it was the weekend. I told him that it didn’t state that on their website. The tech called the owner john and he told the tech to leave. Didn’t want to discuss it. Was told they only take cash. I told him I only had $ 100 and he accepted that. Rude, unprofessional and a crook.

I called and spoke to John I’m assuming. He was very rude. Talked down to me and ultimately made me feel like it was a nuisance that I was calling to schedule a service.
I gave 2 stars just because I didn’t hire him and maybe his work is better than his people skills.

DON’T DO IT. SCAM ARTIST!
I called this guy because my sink and tub in my new (old) house had drained slowly. My handyman pulled apart the pipe and discovered buildup that needed to be snaked. I google searched and Cheap John popped up. I clicked on the site, and saw his phone number, $ 49.95, and 24hr service. PERFECT, right?! WRONG! After speaking with John himself, he assured me that someone would be at my door within an hour and a half. To his credit, that absolutely happened. Unfortunately, the price he quoted my handyman was $ 100 because it was considered an ‘emergency service’ because it was after 5pm. My handyman called me, and I in turn called John back and was told that indeed the fee would be $ 100. I asked how this could be when his site clearly listed $ 49.95 in big, bold numbers… his reply? ‘Well, you have to click on the ‘About Us’ tab, and there it will go in depth on our pricing and what times the $ 49.95 price is valid.’ OKAY. Quick question… WHO OF ANY OF US TAKES THE TIME TO LOOK ON THE ‘ABOUT US’ TAB WHEN YOU HAVE A BUSTED PIPE, DRAIN, FLOODED BASEMENT, OVER FLOWING TOILET, ETC?!! WHY IS THAT INFO NOT ON THE HOME PAGE?!! OR AT LEAST HAVE $ 49.95* — WITH THE LITTLE ASTERISK SYMBOL SO I KNOW THERE IS A CATCH. I digress. So, back to John. We continued back and forth about how his site is misleading and how he basically BAIT and SWITCHED me, and he got mad, said I should call Roto Rooter and hung up on me… Classy guy, that John. Way to gain a customer. Anyhoo. He did bait and switch, and something tells me he knows exactly what he is doing. An honest man puts the price up front ON THE HOME PAGE, or at least refers the reader to call for a quote. Needless to say, I had my handyman send his technician home, and I got my drain snaked for 49.95 from one of the MANY other companies that offer this service. John, if you are reading this… learn to listen to when a consumer attempts to explain an error on your site. No good can come of being rude.

Giving an extra star out of generosity. Their hours say 7 – 7 and somewhere else it says they close at 5. When I called around 3 asking if anyone could come fix my sink they told me they were getting ready to be finished for the day and couldn’t do it. They asked if tomorrow 10am would be ok and I agreed. The next day 10:20 had come and they still weren’t here. I called to ask what was up and first they didn’t pick up either of their listed numbers. Then when I tried again a few minutes later I finally got a response which was. «Yeah they’re running late. Probably like an hour and a half to two hours». Seriously? But I had nowhere to go so I agreed to wait. 12:15 came and I was about to call again when I finally heard a banging on the door. A guy and a lady came in dragging a bucket across my hardwood floors and thumping it up the stairs and got to work. 7 minutes later I hear them saying they’re leaving. Upon checking the pipe my dad found it to be looser than he had it before and asked if the guy could tighten it. The guy refused and said that our pipe wasn’t the right kind although it’s the same pipe we’ve had all these years. Then they left. Oh but not before attempting to add on a $ 5 gas fee which we refused since I had confirmed the price with the person on the phone prior. For $ 45 you decide if it’s worth it. We’ll see how well the work holds up.

stay away. $ 1k and problem persisted. will rake you over coals in a pinch, call someone else!
