The prices are good, but the issue with this place is the employees. It is not a good thing when the customer shows more common courtesy such as «please» and«thank you» than any of the employees. I have lived near this Walmart for a few years now and can never recall one positive«customer service» experience. One such issue was at self checkout. At 10am they only have one actual cashier lane open, and I went to go purchase a gift card. When I went to process it, an attendant was required. She very rudely and loudly told me that I had to go wait in the cashier line because self checkout doesn’t process gift cards. I told her I never had a problem like this at Kroger, but I’ll go in the other line because this isn’t a big deal. As I waited in line, she actually stood 20 feet away from me and stared directly at me the entire time I was in line. I didn’t yell like she did, I didn’t use profane language, and I was more courteous. For all the time this worker wasted trying to eyeball me while not doing anything… she could’ve opened up another checkout lane instead of trying to stick it to a rather tame customer. This is FlowerMound, there are options for shopping everywhere. Walmarts cheap but I’d like to actually leave the store not feeling sleazy like I stole something.

I have had plenty of good experiences as well as bad experiences at this walmart. The good consists of me walking in, grabbing my items, paying, and leaving. The bad is just pure laziness of certain employees. For example, I was about to check out one day when I passed a Monster Energy Drink fridge. I saw a Monster Protein which I had never had so I picked it up. I proceeded to the self checkout to scan but the drink was not registering in the system. A lady came up and looked at it and told me that I could not buy that particular drink, individually. I asked her if she could at least ring it up for me this one time because it was in the fridge with a price tag right below it. She flat out said no and walked away. That was not the end of the story though. You would think that after an employee knows there is an item out that shouldn’t be, they would remove it from the shelves. No. I saw that item in the same fridge from a month before I tried it again and it STILL was not in the system. I don’t want this one employee to influence my review on the whole store so I didn’t give it a single star. The store is close and has most needed goods.

The prices are good, the courtesy is WAYBELOW average… If there is ANY courtesy. I have NEVEREVER heard any of their employees say THANKYOU… There are clueless at just basic corporate work greetings. I called the manager last week to vent my frustration. He was wonderful and would fix the problem. I had the same checkout lady today. Same, «I don’t care attitude». I’m done shopping at this DUMP. I’ll pay more at another store, just to be around NORMAL human beings.

Good little store. No bakery or deli, but Walmart prices. Like most stores it could use more employee’s to help you after 5PM. Clean and better stocked than most other Walmart’s . Produce stocked everyday.
