I have been here twice with a sick baby each time, once was teething or Upper Resp Infection the other was her first ear infection. I give both my experiences 5 stars! The wait time was ridiculously minimal and staff was kind and excellent! Both visits were on a evening or weekend so that’s saying something. :) So glad I found this urgent care!

I’ve taken my kids here multiple times, however will not anymore. dealing with their Questcare billing is an absolute nightmare. I paid my bill in FULL and they don’t know how to post and now am getting notices that I’m getting sent to a collection agency. Ridiculous. The service is always very fast, they could do without the kid front desk staff that is less than helpful.

Kevin is a total creeper ! I won’t take my kid here again. Highly Inappropriate phone etiquette. Here’s the rub Our pediatrician gave us a nurse line # to call when the need arises to call concerning our baby. So when people like Kevin intervene into situations that clearly are out of his league such as handing the phone to a nurse when we have an emergency it begins to trouble me greatly ! My favorite part is when he barked«we don’t do nurse calls… so what’s the problem? «well the problem is an emergency so don’t waste my time and put a god damn medical professional on the phone ! We’ve been before without issue but when children are involved it only takes once. I hope others read and take this post as a warning.

I took my son here a few nights ago for a stomach bug. It was 15 mins before closing time. The staff was not bothered by my late arrival, in fact they were extremely caring and attentive to my son. We were taken back to a room within minutes of arriving. The doctor was kind and very thorough in his exam. The day after they called and followed up to be sure my son was doing better. I will return here every time.

I have been to this place several times with my kids. So glad that we have this urgent care so close to home. The facility and staff is very kid friendly and efficient. They even call home the next day to check on the child’s well being. Would highly recommend this place for any emergencies.

They were helpful, friendly and have crazy late hours. A kid friendly place if there ever was one. TVs all over the place with cartoons, and murals on every wall. Had all their papers ready, no muss-no fuss. Would gladly return again!

I took my 5 yr old here last Saturday afternoon when she was running a high fever. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, then I had to fill out paperwork since it was our first time there. Within 5 minutes, we were taken back to an exam room and the tech took her vitals, asked about her symptoms, then took a throat swab. A few minutes later the doctor came in and confirmed she had strep throat. Since my pharmacy was closing within the hour, the doctor sent over the prescription electronically so we could be ready to pick up on our way home. They also sent paperwork to my pediatrician so I will have the diagnosis on file. My daughter was delighted when the nurse brought her a Popsicle before we left. No problems with my insurance and we were in and out within 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend this place to friends for weekend or after hour emergencies.

We went here because it was recommended by a friend and our infant was running a high fever and it was off hours… we came back very disappointed with this place. Pros 1. The office has beautiful murals of animals and is kid friendly. 2. They have an excellent«fever myth» manual. Very useful. Cons 1. Doctor wanted to do a flu test and said she’ll recommend tami flu. However, even the CDC doesn’t recommend this for infants under 1 unless its an emergency. We checked with our pediatrician about this and she was shocked that Tami flu was recommended by the doctor at Acute Kids Urgent Care. 2. The excellent Fever Myth manual is not followed by the doctor/techs on call. They seem to be doing exactly the opposite. For example, it says that treating infants with medication is not useful. And that fever will subside gradually. However the doctor on call, Dr W**ch said that if it were here baby she would start on the medication right now… thank god its not her baby. 3. Doctor was impatient and unreceptive to our questions. 4. Its hurried as if everyone wants to get you to shut up and leave. Really felt like we were in an assembly line there. 5. Doctor and tech’s attitude were unfriendly and very clinical. Not one smile or kind word during our hour there. They clearly didn’t care about us or our baby, just wanted to get us to do some tests and move onto the next kid. Cons far outweigh the positives. Unless you have no other choice, pl avoid this place.

I don’t have kids, but I had a 3-year old niece staying with me for a week. She got sick and needed to see a doctor, and my family practice doctor was on vacation. So I drove from Coppell to get here, and it was totally the right choice. They were super friendly and cater to children. I can’t imagine how painful it would have been to take a fussy child to an adult urgent care center! They took our insurance with no problems, and we were in and out quickly. The place was almost deserted at 4:30 in the afternoon(which is when the facility opens).
