I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had from Laura, and I’ve had my fair share of massages. I got a deep tissue massage and it was well worth the $. She really focused on my problem areas which we discussed prior. She also did a fair bit of stuff to help with my recurring migraines.
As far as a «spa experience» goes, this place is not the greatest. I didn’t get a robe and there was no relaxing area or anything. That said, i would go back to Laura in a heartbeat. The massage was really awesome, and IMO, that really all that counts.
One strange thing was that there was no price list to be found anywhere.

I have had many massages and Laura is the best! She provides many «extras» that I have not had in other massages. I have also had waxing done by Ruth who is also great at her job. This is a very welcoming place and very laid back. It is a beautiful old home and much attention was paid to detail. You will leave feeling energized! I recommend this spa to everyone!

My husband and I have been to Arnica & Ivy for Swedish Massages on numerous occasions and continue to love the experience. The owner, Laura, gives perhaps the best massage I have ever experienced. She has a calming presence from the moment you enter her day spa and the massage is perfect blend of soothing relaxation with a bit of deep tissue work in areas of muscle tension. Laura’s attention to detail is well worth the price of the massage, with extra touches such as hot towels placed over your back or encasing your feet prior to certain aspects of the massage. Your massage is «all about you» and she takes this seriously.
