My wife and I used to go to another Thai place that was in the area. After being disappointed with the food and prices, we ventured over to try the food here. Man was that one of the best decisions I ever made. The restaurant has more of a trendy feel to it. And its a great spot to go with your significant other. My wife and I really enjoy the ambiance, but more importantly the owners are fantastic people. We know each other on a name by name basis. The staff is friendly. We try to come weekly or every 2 weeks to enjoy a nice meal here. We have been doing so for 2 years now. The Forever Hot Sushi(prepared in the shape of hearts) and Calamari are two of our favorite appetizers. All of the food is great here. And I really enjoy the sake selections(in particular the Nigori which is unfiltered and served cold). If your a sushi lover they have a ton of selection(btw I never eat seafood and this is the only place I am willing to even eat seafood because it’s so fresh and none of that stinky fish smell). And the portions are pretty big we never leave hungry. We will always be loyal patrons to Amy, Ivy, and the rest of the staff here. I have gone to a variety of Thai places in the past and this location is probably our favorite place. I wish I was on my smartphone so I could post some photos. I will do that in the near future.

I came here for an impromptu date night with the hubby because I was seriously craving some Thai and this is the closest decent spot to the Queens Village area. The chicken satay skewers and beef pad see ew I ordered were impressive, the restaurant décor was super cute inside, and it’s a nice space for an intimate date. I enjoyed it so much, I even made space for some fried ice cream dessert. I plan on returning,

I ordered some of the vegetarian sushi rolls for delivery. The confirmation email said it would take about 45 minutes but it was there in about 20, which was great. The sushi was okay. Not the best I’ve ever had and the avocado rolls felt like they could’ve been filled more. I also didn’t like that they put carrots in the vegetable rolls.

So we get there for lunch and the boss is standing outside waiting for his order. My lunch crew was freaking out because that’s what they do when the boss is around. On a Friday, this is one of their favorite spots because it’s convenient and you can get a cold beer to ease out the day. But if the boss is there?! Dry lunch?!? The crew starts to panic. OK, so we tell the server Amy the gravity of the situation, and she says, «Don’t worry, I got you». She brings out three jumbo tea cups filled to the brim with ice cold Sapporo and gives them to us with a wink. The crew was so happy at the Amy’s thoughtful complicity, that suddenly, no one’s freaking out anymore, even though the boss was now standing inside waiting for his order. If you’re looking for some ultra-trendy spot that’ll make you wait on line a couple of hours for some fancy ramen and pork buns, this place will probably not impress you. Until, of course, you get greeted by Amy or one of her awesome servers, and you start to remember what a nice restaurant experience is supposed to be like: you hungry, you go in, you sit, eat and pay normal price. Ah, satisfied! And bonus, when the servers are this cool! After the boss left, Amy approached us to ask who he was. When we told her, she’s like, Oh, so that’s why he paid for your lunch! We ordered a second and third round of «tea» after that, because TGIF and we’re at Glow Thai at the exact time the boss is there, too! If the food doesn’t win you over, the exceptional customer service will. Thanks boss! Thanks Amy! Word.

Very good food! I usually order the sushi lunch and it never disappoints me! Very deceiving from the outside but it’s cute inside and everyone is always so nice. I have also gotten the pineapple chicken fried rice and it’s Delish!

It is an A– OK simple spot for a Thai or Japanese cuisine. Came here for Saturday luncheon with my girlfriends as per suggestion by a friend who is mini-vegan, gluten free and dairy free diner. I like the decoration, it’s glowing effect is cool and hype. We waited for a while before we were serviced and recognized. We came in about half hour past 12 but they said they just opened, oh well, it should not be an excuse. Anyway, we gave them time since we need to do a lot of catch up. Food was good for the price. $ 8.95 for complete meal: seafood choice meal with starter soup or salad or roll(pick 2) and free in-house green tea. Nothing much exceptional but we did enjoy our meal’s taste. Mango basket rice bowl was a delight. Pad see eaw was filling. Ginger stir fried texture was liked by my girlfriend. Unilocaler, dont forget to check-in for a 10% discount voucher.(the best part of the experience). Am I coming back? I may but not really my first choice if given an option by my companions..

VERYVERY expensive for take out but the food is good and the portions are barely on the acceptable side. Be prepared to shell out over $ 50 for take out if you order here, I feel that is too pricey for me to order from there often, but again, the food quality is good. This is a good«once in a while» take out place, unless you are Rockefeller.

Saturday afternoon around 6pm — I order Sahimi deluxe was serve Sushi deluxe. Food quality very poor, Tuna was discolored and rank, they use lemon to mask the smell, however the lemon use was spoiled and made me nauseous.

When they first opened the food, at least the Thai food, was really good. Sadly the food is been on a steady decline. The last 2 times we ordered it was such a let down. We had Tom Yum soup, Basil Chicken, and the oreo tempura. We requested everything extra spicy but still the soup and entrée came bland, no flavor at all. It tasted like really awful Chinese food. Do your self a favor and stay away from this place. You’ll regret going.

Bad customer service and not good food. Came into the restaurant during the lunch special and was greeted terribly. The seat we were seated at had no napkins or utensils and we didn’t even receive the full menu, only the menu that had the lunch special. The waitress seemed clueless and expected us to know certain soup orders just by the foreign names which I thought was weird, and even when the food came out I was not pleased. The sushi was not bad, I am not going to lie. However, the appetizer was too small(vegetable roll) and the drunken noodles had no flavor and was drenched in oil. I would not come back here.

I’ve been here a few times over the past year. The interior is very nice and chill. The food is great — I usually get some type of roll with the soup/salad. Yesterday when I visited I was sick and the food made me feel much, much better. Everything was great until we were leaving. The bill was $ 20 and we had left a $ 5 tip under the water, and nothing on the bill. To our surprise, our waitress had the audacity to point out the fact that I left the bill blank. Not only is that extremely unprofessional, but I have never had a waiter/waitress ask for a tip when I already gave them a hefty(25%) one. Not only did she not apologize when I told her I left the tip under thew ater, but she didn’t even make eye contact with me. EXTREMELY unprofessional of her.

I just tried this place today and I was taken back when I walked inside. This is a beautiful location. The deco inside is so freaky cute! This is a hidden gem because the outside do not do the inside any justice! Cute and romantic place to take a date!!! There is also power outlets at each table which was great to charge my dying phone! The staff was professional and quick with service. However, they got to work on their language skills. I had lunch there which the food was beautifully decorated and presented to us!!! The food was very good. I would go back and bring others to enjoy. They have sushi too! Oh I was happy to get a Unilocal 10% discount which was super nice. However the prices are very reasonable!

— Thai iced tea– pretty decent — mango smoothie– not too bad — Pad Thai– Mild to no flavor — Masaman curry– okay flavored; had a grand total of 5 pieces of chicken and the vegetables were undercooked — Red curry: again, undercooked vegetables and not enough chicken in it Fried Oreos: just okay, def not the best I’ve had The food was not flavorful enough. Also, the foods they claim are«spicy» are not spicy whatsoever. So if you do come here, make sure to ask to make your food ‘spicy’ or ‘extra spicy.‘ The service was pretty decent. The décor during the day makes it look more like a takeout place; it seems like it would look better at night. Damage– $ 90 Was it worth it? Definitely not Would I be coming back? Not in this lifetime There are definitely better Thai options in the area.

I went here a few times. I have never been disappointed on any of my visits. Each time I we t the service was great, the food tasted well and the price remained the same. The resteraunt is clean, they provide a good ambience, I think it would be better if they offered more seating but for the space they have it is a nice place. It is located in floral park so even though there isn’t private parking it isn’t usually difficult to find street parking. I enjoy their sushi and the Kani salad. I always go here at lunch time for a good sushi fix. I recommend this place if you’re looking for something low key, casual and delicious.

This is such a great sushi spot! I primarily go during my lunch break. My favorite item on the menu is their pepper tuna sushi, it’s to DIE for! It has the perfect amount of spice and you are able to enjoy all of the ingredients simultaneously. They have a good variety of sushi selections and binto box options. The staff are very accommodating, the sushi always tastes fresh and the ambience is always just right, no matter the time of day or the occasion.
