I’ve driven by it hundreds of times during various visits back home when I would visit from afar, but never went inside until this past spring. Big mistake on my part. Been digging this place a lot since I moved back to the area, as it’s a nice short drive from my place. Great selection of beers at decent prices, and a killer-looking menu, though I confess I’ve only been there for lunch and had a burger, a chicken sandwich and some ahi tuna on various visits. All were cooked beautifully and were placed in front of me with no serious wait each time I’ve been there, so your mileage may vary on a Friday or Saturday night. Trivia nights on Thursdays at 8 p.m. have been a fun draw as well. Fun staff who appear to really enjoy working there and are often cracking jokes and shooting the bull with regulars and new faces alike. Several screens above the bar allow you to check out the latest games, and there are dartboards in the back for those who are so inclined. I’ll keep coming back!

I’ve been here 2x by myself at the bar. I’m only basing my review on a burger and chicken sandwich. Both were good. The bartenders are friendly enough but not super chatty. I’ll come back.

There are innumerable restaurants within the confines of Morris County that claim a variety of pleasantries. Some promise an affinity to a style of cuisine, which in some cases can define them as a standalone restaurant. The Corner Pub is singular in its affectation. Situated at the north western edge of the Hub of North Jersey, the Corner Pub is an oasis for the local foodie and traveling enthusiast, alike. I would consider myself a local to this establishment, having sampled the majority of their in line menu, as well as their specials, which tend to encompass a wider comprehension of Mediterranean and British seafood. The head chef is given the liberty of some signature dishes, which are always worth a look. An evening at the Corner Pub will always include fantastic service, accompanied by superior attention to the dining experience. On top of having Tony take care of absolutely every nuance at our table, Nadine made us some specialty drinks behind that bar that were to die for! At an appropriate time following our main course, the manager, Wayne, stopped by to make sure that everything was above standard, and even bought my wife and I a complementary apéritif to go with our dessert. Walking in to the Corner Pub is like coming home to the Eastern Coast Irish Family you wish you had, and is a must stop if you are traveling Route 206. I have also been present for a handful of their after hours entertainment, and have never been let down. Whether it be a DJ spinning top 100 Billboard hits, or a live band playing the best of rock and roll covers, The Corner Pub will never disappoint when it comes to nightlife!

Cool place for happy hour. They had trays of food for patrons. We ordered wings, which were awesome. Fried pickles not so much. We played darts with about 10 people in our group while there. I wish they had a pool table. Otherwise, beers were cold, bartender was attentive and my group enjoyed.

There are only a few places I feel as good at as I do when I go to the corner pub. The girls are beautiful and attentive to your needs, food is great, atmosphere is fantastic. If you want to try something new and not be disappointed try the corner pub. Tell them Hakim sent you!!!

I can only speak for their carry out service, but my husband and I have now ordered from here twice and have enjoyed our food. We’ve both had burgers and chicken sandwiches. I was surprised how fresh the ingredients were(the rolls were especially good). My only complaint would be that the fries were a bit soggy when we got them and they could’ve given a slightly bigger portion. Personally, I probably wouldn’t ever dine in as it seems to be a bit of a dark, townie bar. But the food certainly hits the spot when looking for a quick burger! I’d give a 3.5, if possible.

This review is way overdo. We hired the corner pub to cater our wedding. Mike was so accommodating to work with. Went above and beyond to meet dietary needs, plan a very creative menu, and deal with stressed wedding clients. I heard for months after the wedding how amazing our food was and how great everything looked. I highly recommend the corner pub for catering out just stopping in and grabbing some delicious food and great beer.

Been here a few times and the food is good, however came in tonight and sat there for 15 minutes and no one came over to take our drink order. We got up and left… and noticed that the manager who had seated us was sitting there texting.

Being in a new town, I like to support local businesses. The first experience at the corner pub was not a good one. Sat at the bar with a friend and I ordered buffalo wings and a cheeseburger cooked medium well. After the first round of drinks, although very friendly, the bartender barely came back to check on us. It was a Monday night and it wasn’t very busy The food was not even luke warm, it was cold. When I cut in to the burger, it was beyond rare. Needless to say, the food was sent back. The staff was very quick to accomodate, however, when biting into the wings, I bit into bone… it was disgusting. The second time I went to the corner pub, I was optimistic that the experience would be better. Sat at a bar table and watched football and baseball games. I ordered from their fall menu and had the meatballs, they were very tasty and this time the food was the perfect temperature. I am still on the fence about this place.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon for a quick bite and the restaurant was quite empty. We were seated rather quickly since we chose not to eat at the bar. My bf order some type of stout on tap which he enjoyed. Ordered the garlic parmesan wings which were okay. They had potential… but were way too greasy. It seemed like the wings went straight from the fryer onto the serving plate, it was sitting in a pool of oil. The flavor was quite nice but the garlic parmesan was very faint and it seemed like the marinade needed a hint of salt. My bf ordered the shrimp po boy and I ordered the rib eye sandwich, which both came with fries. Both sandwiches were large portions and quite good. The po boy could’ve used more shrimp but still very good. The rib eye sandwich was a bit greasy but cooked perfectly medium as requested. The menu offers a great variety of pub food. I’d give it 3.5 stars if possible. I would definitely stop in again for a quick bite. There are plenty of large TVs at the bar to watch games and our server(also the bartender) gave us OUTSTANDING service. She was very friendly and offered her suggestions and recommendations.

For the record, I was only slightly hungry upon entering! However, the minute our food came I was salivating! It was beyond delicious. If you like goat cheese and you like an amazing burger, you must, I repeat must(!) try the Green burger. My husband and I have now each had two in last three weeks and are already craving another! On our first visit we used a great Groupon deal which led us to this cozy(yet spacious) place to begin with. Don’t let the strip mall location fool you. Once inside its all warm wood, lots and lots of TV s if you’re there for sports! Also, as mentioned above, although large inside it definitely feels cozy. Tons of beer on tap! Friendly staff. Well priced for what you get. Back to the burgers, you knew I was going back to them, right?!? It is served with tiny polish-like potato pancakes, apple sauce, sour cream and coleslaw. The combination was amazing!!! Lastly, on our first trip we went as a couple for a mid week date night. Second trip we took kiddos late on a Saturday afternoon, 2 and 4. Perfect for both! Don’t miss the peek through door on way in/out! See pic. :)

Came here for lunch with a friend and her 6-month old son. The waiter, Patrick, was fantastic! He communicated dietary concerns to the kitchen(the chef, Chris, was able to clarify which foods were safe for people with Celiac’s), and even went out of his way to find a substitution for a regular bun! Fantastic service! We each ordered the Corner Burger — the patties was fresh, clearly made in-house, and cooked to order. The entire sandwich was tasty and satisfying. We’ll definitely be back, and would recommend to friends!

Nichelle is the best! The corned beef was moist and delicious, the cute Irish dancing girls, amazing! The downer, the cover band playing beetles music on St Pattys Day weekend! I have nothing against the band, but I was expecting to jig some awesome Irish dance moves on the floor and instead mellowed out. Boo.

The Corner Pub has a dark wooden feel. It is warm and welcoming. The bar area is fun and has a good crowd vibe. Some nights are slow. The bartenders are always friendly and provide great service. Recently the Corner Pub opened up a new room for parties. I ordered a hamburger. It was what you would expect for bar food. It was a nice size, cooked as I ordered it and enough to fill me up. I will go back in the future and try some other menu items. If you are looking for a Pub do not hesitate to stop in here.
