Great hamburgers but dinners are almost always disappointing due to lack of flavor and imagination

Chicken tenders were awesome. Server was enthusiastic. I recommend the Orange Crush and a margarita (can’t remember cuz it was sooooo good).
My wife and I plan on coming back and you should too!

Food is tasty but portions and presentation are pretty disappointing. I ordered a burger with blue cheese. It came out it was literally a bun, burger patty, and a little blue cheese on a plate! Not so appetizing. I ordered it medium rare it came out medium-​well.
There was no lettuce no tomato no pickle nothing. Needless to say I was disappointed when it arrived, but after I ate it since I was so hungry, I was satisfied. Pro tip: tell them exactly what you want on your plate!

Went here with my family. It’s a smaller place. We were sat in the back. Nothing too spectacular at this place. Typical bar food. I ordered Pork Osso Bucco and it was great! The meat fell right off the bone. The rest of my family got burgers and wraps. They looked underwhelming. Overall, it’s an OK place to go.

I went here with some friends. We grabbed a table in the bar area.
There were no servers in the bar area. You had to walk up to the bar, order your drinks and carry them back to your table. The bartender was friendly but I’m not sure why there wasn’t a server. All the patrons were friendly also.
We did get some food to eat. The menu had many options.
For an appetizer we ordered the boneless buffalo wings. They were good except the bartender told us they did not have any more boneless wings and we had to substitute regular wings. We went with the regular wings and they were good.
My dinner came with a salad and I ordered the house dressing. The greens were fresh and crisp and the dressing was good.
For dinner I ordered the blackened chicken with pasta. It was on the special menu. What impressed me most about the dish was the pasta was cooked perfectly. The dish was much better than I expected.
The guys I was with enjoyed their dishes also and agreed a 3 start rating would be appropriate.

After spending all day in the nature, visiting beautiful lake, river and parks in the area, we were starving. Officer in the state park recommended Long Valley restaurant and we decided to give it a try.
The menu looked promising, it was hard to decide what to order. For appetizer we shared mozzarella sticks, fried calamari and chicken cordon blue bites. We could choose 3 for $ 8 or $ 9.
Fried calamari were horrible, couldn’t eat them, they were far from being fresh. The worst ones I ever tried.
Mozzarella sticks and chicken bites were better, but nothing special. Frozen and microwave reheated.
For main course I decided to play it safe with All American burger. My husband got pasta with shrimps and scallops.
My burger was tasteless. After adding a lot of ketchup, salt and pepper, it was still really bad. I only ate half of it.
Pasta with shrimps and scallops– just blah.
It seems that they don’t have fresh food at all. I bet they use the microwave more then anything else.
The service was okay.
I wonder if the good reviews are from friends and family. A restaurant should cook freshly made food, not buy frozen food that anyone can just put in a microwave and have it ready to eat in few minutes.

Stopped here after a long day of kids’ activities. To be honest, it was our second choice (couldn’t get in to the restaurant we originally wanted to go), but I’m so glad it worked out this way! They were pretty busy, but service was tight — our waitress was friendly, talked to the kids, always available but not hovering. Also, the owner/​manager was walking around, making sure that everyone was happy and satisfied. The food was really good too! We kept it simple and stuck to burgers and wraps, plus the chili nachos (which I loved — only the cheese and chili are on the chips, you DIY with jalapeños, tomatoes, olives, and salsa. My husband didn’t like that aspect though.) The food and beers hit the spot, and the price was fantastic. To be able to go out as a family of 5 and get a bill for @$ 50 (plus tip) is great! We will definitely be making the trip there again.

Great local bar and pub, with a clean family run atmosphere. I am giving the valley a four star review based on what it is, a local pub with good food and good atmosphere. If your looking for lobster and the best steaks, this is not your place ! Service is always great and I love the covered outdoor eating area which is the perfect place too take in the wonderful views. Beers and drinks are perfectly priced for the surrounding as well. I am here a couple times a month and always go in knowing what to expect, service is great, drinks are great, and food is always good and consistent. Keep up the good work!

Stopped here for a quick bite after our annual pumpkin picking excursion.
Beers were very reasonably priced and the food was priced decent too.
The bartender poured a beautiful, perfect, pint of Guinness. We had a Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms. It was made on garlic bread. So good! We also had chilli cheese dogs that were on special. Very good chilli and perfectly soft buns.
They even had a nice hot sauce selection which we enjoyed.
We will definitely come back.

have been here many times food is good service is iffy.
i have ordered an appetizer and meal and the meal comes out minutes after the appetizer, the staff seem to think this is not a problem
they hire a lot of young kids with little experience and if you get one of them your meal could be doomed. most of the food here is good… the worst experience i had here was the fried chicken… terrible
most everything else is good if you get it and its comes out hot, if you have to send it back it can be a long wait

Good food, great staff!!!

One of my favorites — food is great and they have hand crafted beer. Very interestin atmosphere. Great bar for the guys and equally great table service for families and meetings.

This is my fiancé and mine favorite place to hang out on a «Sunday Funday». They have great bar specials during football games and the bartender, Melinda is great!
We come here for dinner on occasion as well and have never had a bad meal. Food is reasonably priced, portions are plentiful and delicious and service is great.

So, I’m tempted to go down to two stars but I am going to keep it at 3. I recently went there and had chicken fajitas. One problem, I am 99.999% sure that the chicken used was the store bought precooked grilled chicken from Purdue or Tyson or whatever. (I’ve had it before at home and it tasted just like it). That completely left a bad taste in my mouth. C’mon guys, you can’t fool the general public.

Good pizza. Very friendly family run.

Fun little local pub/​bar. Food was fine.
