I was so excited to come to this place and try it out for the first time because I’ve heard so many good things! Before I went I had already looked at the menu so I knew what I wanted. I ordered a crêpe but I wanted Togo, they don’t do Togo crepes I guess. And so I ordered a hot chocolate chai tea Togo. The girl didn’t know how to make it, and she had to ask someone in the back to show her how to make it. I paid almost 13 dollars for two hot drinks and when I got home and gave my friend his drink I took a sip of mine and my chai was disgusting. It tasted awful and I opened it to try and drink it and noticed something black in my drink. It was a blueberry?! Why was there a blueberry in my gross chai tea… I was very disappointed and I hope it will be better if I ever go again.

Good atmosphere. Quiche had mushrooms from a can, disappointing. Plain black coffee is weak and lacking good flavor. Would I came back? Nope.

I have a love/hate relationship with Cultured. I love the food/coffee/tea. I go there to study and most of the time the upstairs is full of other people studying so it’s a great atmosphere. 50% of the time I love the music(eclectic mix… think new modern folk mixed with the best songs from the last 30 years). The other 50% of the time they play weird(Christian?) music and if I don’t have my headphones I turn around and leave. I’m there to study and drink delicious coffee, not to go to church. I also don’t love the yogurt. It works out because if I’m hungry their other stuff is great(blueberry muffin = heaven… they don’t need to play weird music to spread the good news, they just need to sell more blueberry muffins). I assume most people just add so many toppings they can’t taste the actual yogurt anyway so it doesn’t matter to them either. I don’t love the occasional loud groups that set up shop upstairs in the middle of a bunch of people obviously trying to study, but that’s the risk we take when we study in a social environment, so I don’t get too worked up about that… and besides, I recognize I am well on my way to crotchety old person :) Prices are high, but I view it as paying rent to use their electricity to charge my computer/heating/chairs…and what I’m getting is good, so I pay it. But be warned… coffee and a pastry is going to cost you what an entire meal would cost you across the parking lot at Someburros. The staff tends to be great… friendly/helpful.

I’ve always had a good experience at Cultured, but the last time I went in was above and beyond. There was only one person working, Jordan, and he was doing an amazing job. I’ve never had such genuine customer service! He made an effort to talk to me about my day, and it was quite refreshing. He worked fast while making everything with care. My coffee was so delicious and I will definitely be coming back more often! :)

This place is absolutely beautiful. The décor inside is so inviting and welcoming to everyone. It is a warm very homey place to visit. However, the manager is a discriminating person. I applied for a job and she«didn’t feel comfortable hiring me because of a peanut allergy». If she chose to not hire me for any other reason I would completely understand but to not hire me because of something that I was born with, is absolutely absurd. I can handle duties just like anyone else and being allergic to nuts has never held me back from doing anything. It’s so sad that such a beautiful place is run by someone who is so rude and discriminatory.

Lovely place! Great location and good service. My flat white coffee was very good and the chocolate chip oatmeal cookie was amazing! I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Excellent café in downtown flag. The atmosphere is quaint and the staff is friendly. It’s a great place to get work done, read a book, or chat with friends. I tried a tomato quiche and a spiced apple chat tea latte. Both were quite delicious. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be coming back here to check out the froyo bar.

Disappointing. The place is beautiful and the coffee is decent enough but the service is truly sub par and the employees attitudes varied between extremely slow and extremely rude. It is the kind of place you can tell is run by apathetic teenagers who really need some supervision. Bummer though, from the reviews we were really looking forward to checking it out.

I came here on a short trip to Arizona and instead of going to a bar we wound up here to unwind from a long hiking day. I couldn’t decide what I wanted so the gentleman working helped me decide. Their yogurt, teas and customer service is all amazing so I’m glad I ended up here instead. Definitely worth the visit !

Slightly outside of the historic district in a strip mall which made parking very easy. I needed coffee and pastry quickly and the quality and choices were very good and efficiently served. The ambiance wear comfy.

Man this is the spot. Great view of SF Peak and great folks behind the counter. Coffee and muffin was awesome. For the record it should be illegal it have to choose between a Banana and Chocolate or a Banana and Blueberry muffin. Just put the three together and be done with it!!! Loved the place and will be back

Came here for some after-lunch coffee and dessert. Ordered a big french press to share and also some cookies that were in front of the register. The coffee had distinct taste, but it was good! Also, those cookies were surprisingly delicious! The chocolate oatmeal cookie had the perfect amount of both oatmeal and chocolate and perfectly complemented the coffee. There was also a butter cookie and it was actually like a butter shortbread, very flaky and yummy. The interior of the place is very cozy and comfortable. You can chill at a table or at the couch, which is perfect for when you want to chill or whether you want to have coffee and talk to other people. I’m pretty sure their main thing here is their frozen yogurt but I wasn’t hungry enough to get some, but from what I hear, it’s good. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area looking for desert or coffee.

Love this little gem for its coffee(pumpkin latte made from real pumpkin-mmmmm-but fall only), homemade baked goods, and especially the comfy cozy atmosphere: downstairs fireplace and couch and upstairs piano and a view! Looking forward to trying their frozen yogurt. Do not, I repeat do not, get their crepes. Yucky yuck. Tried sweet and savory-both awful. Best thing overall are their accommodating friendly employees.

The atmosphere gets a 5, the coffee gets a 5, the yogurt gets a 3, and the toppings get a 4. Super great place to hang out after a hike in the mountains. Coffee tasted lovley. The only complaints I had was with the yogurt. A few were very runny, like they wernt cold enough, and some other ones tasted«off». I stuck with the vanilla and crème brulé. The vanilla was the most runny out of them all. Also, it was a bit«icy» as if the machines possibly needed a cleaning. So icy and runny yogurt isn’t fun, but still tasted good. Overall a great experience. And the men’s room was cool.
