Nice ambiance. Perfectly steamed milk and the espresso was very smooth. The barista was nice and friendly. Good tea selection. Would love to come back again.

The epicenter of the Flagstaff Renaissance. Don’t miss it. The best place to chill and enjoy some killer joe and get the creative juices flowing. Definitely more cozy than my living room.

An ideal study spot, lots of big tables and a fun vibe! It’s expensive, so I just get a drip coffee for $ 2.50 and sip on that while I work! The music is loud and the crowd does shift to more of a bar at night, so this isn’t a quiet calm type of study spot… There’s also excellent hipster spottings unlike anywhere else in town.

Stopped here for a coffee on the way out of town. Ordered the Ponderosa Vanilla latte with soy milk– SO yummy! Nice and creamy, not too sweet or rich, just the right amount of vanilla flavor. The coffee shop had a great vibe for studying or working. I wouldn’t be able to get coffee here every day since it was a little pricey, but so worth every penny when you get a good drink on a special occasion.

The chai is absolutely un-drinkable, if I liked anise maybe I would order a tea with anise in it, why do places think they need to reinvent chai??? What coffee shop doesn’t have creamer out for the customers??? I won’t be going back. Another note: did the owner watch Portlandia and think that the«good walls, horrible art» skit was a documentary???

Came here based on Unilocal reviews and pics and was not disappointed. Very friendly baristas and both drip and espresso were delicious. Few items in the bakery case to choose from. Had the biscotti and it was good. Crisp, but not stale. Place is spacious, but comfy and cozy too. There is a small bar that serves beer and wine as well. Note: They do not have drip decaf. Yes, I am one of those decaf people! :-)

I got a cappuccino with orange and lavender… And the cappuccino was perfect, but the extra flavoring was a tad bit overpowering. I also felt like it tasted like sweet tomato sauce or pizza. It wasnt a bad drink, i just probably would get a plain cappuccino rather than adding a flavor. But the coffee shop was really relaxing and hip. I liked the service as well, the barista was very nice and helpful. Id go again!

Fire creek was the second place I tried to get coffee in on my trip to Flagstaff. Here was my exchange at the first place: Me: hi! Great to be in a local vegan coffee shop. Can I have a double soy latte? Dude: we don’t actually have soy milk because we only carry non gmo milks Me: ok, tell me what milk… you think is the good milk Dude: we carry cashew or sunflower seed milk Me: Jesus gimme cashew I guess Dude: we actually don’t have espresso, we do a Japanese pour over Me: oh man really Dude: it’s more robust than drip coffee Me: I know what it is. I don’t want it. Walking into Fire Creek, two nice dudes that looked as though they could have been in a Weezer cover band greeted me and made me an elaborately foamed, delicious soy latte, and I enjoyed it in their beautiful living-room style café.

I am a coffee snob. I find that most places burn their coffee and overdo the milk until it too is over heated. The latte I had at this place was very good and prepared correctly. Latte milk should be heated until the lactose in the milk begins to caramelize and gets very sweet. The latte was perfect and the latte art is always a good indication that a coffee shop gives a crap about the product.

Having finished dinner a group of us were in need of a caffeine fix and something warm. When you walk in you’ll notice the photography art on the wall and tables throughout the coffee shop. Just a select few items to choose from makes it a simple decision for anyone. After taking your order you’ll notice the bar across the two WC which was a neat concept which would be the 2nd establishment that I’ve seen like that. Walking down further to the back there are several group tables and a stage. Catered well to nightly events. Hot chocolate tastes warm to the body for the winter that is almost here!

Coming from a coffee fanatic this place does is right. Recommended by friends, I had to stop in while traveling through town. Came back the next morning for more! Super friendly staff, awesome open interior. Had their latte, cappuccino, and granola with milk — all five star!

First time I’ve ever actually seen Cappuccino Art. Amazing coffee shop. I don’t even live anywhere in the area, I’m actually in Southern California and every time I pass through flagstaff in route somewhere else I have to stop here! I loved that they automatically used really high quality organic milk without even asking. And I tell people about it as well. Honestly, it’s in second place to my favorite coffee shop in Huntington Beach CA at Caffe Caldo. I’m a sucker for a great cappuccino and few people nail it. Firecreek nailed it.

After crawling for coffee all over the United States, I can say without any reservation that this literally is one of my favourite coffee shops in the country. The menu is minimal and they’re good at what they do. I got a flight and chai for my first visit, but now get both an espresso that I’m in the mood for as well as the chai. Their chai’s are one of the best I’ve ever had. They have two restrooms — major bonus points! And they’re clean! I found the environment to be welcoming and inspiring. I made some of my best art thus far there. Plus it’s in a great location, right on the edge of the central hub area in downtown. But one can still find parking in front. Or perhaps I’m just lucky :) This place is incredible. Well worth visiting when around flagstaff!

I ordered a coconut milk latte and a cold brew for myself. Both were delicious! My husband had his french press coffee — perfect. Location was easy for us to find and customer service was great! We also ordered some delicious pastries!

These folks are hipster’d out! It’s cool and all… lots of cool college kids… lots of cool glowing Apple logos… It’s a cool place… but you’ve probably never heard of it… whatever… Sometimes I stand there trying to figure out what to order… But they make me feel like I don’t even know what I want… I thought I wanted a dirty chai.

Got 45 min you need to kill and you want a coffee? Your in luck as this is the place. The staff is expertly trained to take as long as possible to prepare your coffee. Free wifi is available so that you can skype with family you have been meaning to catch up with, get all those work emails done or watch a movie. By the time you are done your coffee should be ready. I am pretty sure I could roast the beans and make it myself faster than I can get it here. Staff really needs help on being more efficient. If you want coffee in less than the time it takes to wash your car visit the desert flour down the street. If you walk in and there is more than 1 person in line you are screwed. If you are unemployed, bored or you enjoy relaxing while watching workers get overwhelmed it is a great place to hang out at and wait for your order.

This is an awesome coffee shop. Very spacious and it offers great access to the internet. I do not drink coffee, but they had a wide variety of tea available. I got a peach vanilla roobios tea that was tasty. I also was impressed by this lavender soda that they had available which was very crisp and refreshing. However, I must have visited this place at the wrong time because even though it was a Saturday afternoon and busy, thee was only one person at the counter helping out. The other person seemed to be out in a corner talking to their friends. I am not sure if they even worked there, but even if they didn’t the service was extremely slow. It shouldn’t take 10 minutes to get an iced tea.
