Rendezvous Coffee House/Martini Bar

I was out with some restaurant buddies who were regulars at this bar and knew all of the staff by name. We ordered a round of shots which the bartender messed up horribly, and were undrinkable. I had already given my card to the bartender before when I ordered my first beer.
Instead of apologizing for her mistake she started arguing with me, threatened to kick me out, and refused to give me back my card even though my group of friends had easily spent 1,000’s at this bar.
Most likely the worst service I have ever had in my life, and I work in the industry… doing her job. She should be fired for her incredibly poor attitude and blatant lack of understanding of the job of being a bartender.
I will never come back to this place again and I can only hope my friends never step foot inside Rendezvous.

Ok. So many years ago I refused to come to this place due to rude service on a consistent basis. I decided to try it again. The coffee was really good! I have also had some drinks here as well. The guy bartender is great. I do remember though some of the girl bartenders could be a bit stand offish or ignored me! I don’t understand this but don’t do it to me again when I come in! Cool? Sweet! Let’s see what happens… Note: I did not go in during HH or Night, it was in the middle of the day around 2:30. Best time to drink. ;)

This is such a unique spot! I like that it’s s bar that doesn’t feel the need to place TV’s all around. We got wine and a basic liquor drink but all of their cocktails looked and sounded amazing. You could tell they really care about each drink they make and put such detail into them. They also have a menu of hot alcoholic cocktails which are perfect for the cold weather and very unique. So glad I stumbled upon this place for drinks because I thought of it always as a coffee shop.

Really enjoyed this place. Kids loved the hot chocolate and spiced apple cider. We LOVED the whisky chi, wow. Relaxed while the kids played Jenga. Good service, great atmosphere. Will be back for sure.

Every time I walk into rendezvous I have friendly service. It is refreshing compared to some other places in town. Eric and the red headed girl with glasses are 100% always great. The whiskey chai is always a pleaser and I love their Bloody Mary mix!

Rude, rude, rude. 4 separate bartenders and while sitting at the short side bar I was totally ignored. Bar was busy but not packed. Asked if I could order a drink and was abruptly told to go up to bar. Funny, I thought I was sitting at the bar!!! I’m a longtime Flag resident and enjoy the atmosphere but with this kind of service I can easily go somewhere else. Try Zane Gray or the Annex.

Terrible service. Not sure what was up with the two employees working today @ 5pm, but they were both extremely rude. First, I asked the heavy set guy with glasses about a particular tap handle. He set it was black IPA, when I asked if he happened to know who brewed it he said no and walked away. First thought was maybe he didn’t know his beers too well, so I asked the girl who was also working the bar about it. She said it was a black IPA by stone. Thinking maybe they had Sublimely Self-​Righteous on tap I asked if she knew the name of the particular brew. She then seemed to become really aggravated and said it was a milk stout by Stone. I told her that her co worker had said it was a black IPA and apologized for the confusion. For some reason that really seemed to tick her off, enough to to the point of her raising her voice at me. She proceeded to tell me that the black IPA was a milk stout and IPA mixed together and not dispensed from the tap as they had both said at first.
Both of them had a very passive aggressive attitude. The big guy was also rude to my wife as she paid for our drinks…

Shop and Staff
This place was very nice. We wanted to get out of the cold for a bit before we explored more of the town, and shops. We got some hot coffee drinks right by the window looking out at the town. The service was spot on and fast. We got here early morning with only one other person in the shop. It is a bar at night and coffee shop during the day.
Drink and Experience
Both of the drinks we got were great. They woke us up, warmed us up, and got us ready to go out in the cold to go exploring. I almost didn’t want to leave because it was very cozy, quite, and warm. I’m sure the night life at this place is crazy fun. It would be nice to go during the night to get some adult beverages. It is right in the middle of town with tons of cool shops close by.

I have heard about this place for a very long time and finally got a chance to stop in. i was very impressed, it definitely lived up to the hype. I started with an espresso shot which was masterfully pulled. Then I tried a cinnamon turtle latte which was also very well made! All in all I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back and trying some cocktails here.

The late night bartenders here are so friendly and nice!

I went here for my very first time on a late Saturday night. It was pretty packed. Pretty clean. Cute atmosphere. I love coffee & tea shops and I thought the fact that it was also a bar made it that much cooler.
My friend and I ordered a mint mojito and blackberry mojito. My friend shared that it was the worst mojito she’s ever had and that she’s «had better.» My blackberry mojito was also not that great. I think it was topped with too much soda and didn’t have enough lemon in it.
I would definitely come come back to this place for the cool atmosphere and great service but I probably won’t order that mojito again unless they improve their recipe.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff and a great selection of beverages makes this a great choice for a drink whenever in Flagstaff.

Apart from my own home, this is probably my favorite place to hang out in Flagstaff. Definitely the most casual hangout spot in downtown Flag. There are some nice seats in the area, and some comfy couches. This place gets crowded in the evenings and loud which keeps me from going here at night. However the selection of drinks, teh service and the ambience can’t be beat. I wish they however, had a better selection of food to choose from, apart from some of the local flavor.

Came in for a late afternoon drink. The place was pretty empty… The bartender was somewhat inattentive. This is a nice place to sit and people watch. Rooibos tea Latte was delicious.

If you have a taste for a good mix drink this is the place for you! The bartenders Jeremy and Eric have impressed me for years. They are always helpful even for the more challenging drinks. They play great music and have great lighting for a second date where you are comfortable to drink. Above all if you don’t order something off menu they have an amazing always changing drink menu that is sure to impress!!!

Amazing drinks, vibes, and service! Jamie and Erik are my favorite bartenders. Good for locals and tourists alike!

Awesome ambiance. Great fresh local pastries available. Unique coffee drinks ie: lavender infused espresso. Yum!

Really good coffee and liquor bar in Old town scottsdale. The coffee cocktails were really good. Perfect amount of sweetness and alcohol. Also had a cinnamon drink, the red devil, a metropolitan. Prices were good, bartenders were cool, and the ambiance was delightful. They have a lounge to sit down too.

Fantastic place to grab a drink. We popped in here while waiting to go next door and eat. the ambiance here is posh/​sophisticated. A tiny little place and it was pretty full of people.
Regardless of the business of the place, the bartender was prompt and helpful. We each ordered a glass of wine from the wine list. I loved the heavy pours. Score.
WE didn’t stay long due to our dinner reservations, but if you are in town after a day of skiing, this is a great place to grab a drink that isn’t overrun with college kids.

I ordered the chai tea latte with soy milk on a cold rainy day and it HIT THE SPOT. Rendezvous makes it on the super sweet side, so it’s comforting and dessert-​like. The milk is frothy and thick. Would totally come back to try some other drinks too!
