It’s the funniest thing. A beach in a commercial/​residential development with the faint sounds of an interstate. Yet… it’s sand and water and FREE! Because of the proximity to my house, the cost, and my low expectations for it, I’m giving Saxony Beach 3 stars.
If you’re looking for more than this, you’ll be disappointed. There are no bathrooms, only two por-​ti-​lets and no where to rinse off before getting in your car. But, it’s easy to access and good for a couple hours. The 12-​year-​olds I took today had a great time and were among the oldest kids there. Probably better for little ones.

This place is just ok. It kinda reminds me of a water retention pond and the sand is pretty horrible. It just the sand is well… rocks and very hard to lay on and be comfortable.
