Local festival in Fishers with several vendors, mostly jewelry, housewares, and cooking supplies — nothing really ‘German’. One booth was selling beer but only 2 choices and $ 7 for an 8oz plastic cup. One food vendor had brats and polish sausage but the rest of the food was chicken tenders, tenderloins, elephant ears — not exactly what I think of when it comes to Oktoberfest. It was a gorgeous day and fun to walk around outside but for those seeking authentic German food, music, décor, or memorabilia this event would sadly disappoint.
