I had the worst experience at the Greek Garden yesterday. They always have poor customer service but yesterday it was awful. I went in and placed an order to go. I paid for my food after I ordered(12:33pm). I didn’t walk out of there with my food until 1:17pm. The cooks made the food for every person eating in restaurant before they made my food. All but two of the tables came in after me. People who came in after me were done eating before I got my food. The cooks were also standing around talking about the TV show Prison Break. I feel they should have been focused on doing their jobs. After about 35 minutes they said it would be 2 more minutes for my food and it was like 10 more minutes. The food you can tell was rushed and didn’t taste the greatest and my Greek Fries were half burnt and half under cooked. When I finally got my food the guy in charge said he told them to make my food. He didn’t try hard and that is by far the worst service I’ve had at a restaurant. If you want Mediterranean food I recommend Cedar Valley Café. I’ve never gotten bad service there and the food is better.

This place is fun but the food is average. We returned because of the atmosphere not the food. In the summer sitting outside is wonderful. Service is often a bit slow.

Great local place ! Came here for lunch and they were quick to serve. Had the gyros lunch plate that was very good and a coworker had a salad with more meat than he could eat ! Looking forward lunching here again.

Greek Garden is a great casual restaurant with delicious and affordable food. Literally every single menu item I’ve tried(and there’s been a lot of them) is great. Three generations of my family love Greek Garden so it’s somewhere we frequent. Some of my favorite meals are the Bruce salad, Rice bowl, gyro, hummus, and saganaki. I really appreciate the improvements Greek Garden has made in the last several years to its atmosphere. They often have live music inside & outside and the re-vamped patio is the best spot in Findlay with its huge tables, outdoor bar & large plants. You never feel like you’re hanging out in an alley. It’s my favorite spot in the summer months to drink wine, eat some delicious food, listen to live music and just chill.

I lived in Findlay for almost 6 years, and I did not discover this gem of a Greek restaurant until after I moved and visited Findlay months later. Now every time I come visit, it is a routine that we go to Greek garden. My favorite part about it(besides the food) is the alley they have with seating, lights, live music, and a cozy little bar area. The gyros are delicious, and I dream about the garden hummus. Wine is good and reasonably priced– actually the whole menu is very affordable for how good the food is. I think a gyro is around $ 5, even during dinner. The service can be very slow at times. If you come during lunch, don’t plan on getting in and out in an hour unless you call in the food ahead of time. You have to be a little assertive and get the waiters attention, otherwise you will be drooling at the menu for 20 before you can order. On the other hand, it is very nice no one seems to be in a rush to get you out of the restaurant so I don’t mind taking my time during dinner and enjoying the music and having a bottle of wine. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was great, unfortunately it took over an hour to get it. This place is definitely no where to go on your lunch break, to top it off we had no food and ALL of the cooks were outside smoking. If this place got a management plan in place it would be 5 stars.

This place is in the center of town. It looks quaint but the host took is for quite a walk to the back of the building, so there ate two seating areas. The back where we sat had a TV, a small bar and tables. The TV was turned up load due to a football game. I was happy it was on as I was interested in the game but at the same time it kills the atmosphere. The décor is unique and feels unusual. There is a bunch of bottles and or glass containers, some shaped like heads… And other items that don’t seem to mix or contribute to environment good for a meal… but I have seen worse. The service was friendly but a little slow at times between refills or when we needed something, based on this one visit. The menu is Greek/Mediterranean themed. There is a nice mix of cheaper items like Shawarma roll and gyros and full platters. They have some nice appetizers as well like hummus. Its generally reasonably priced but one issue we had was the pita to hummus ratio was so low we asked for more pita bread and the provided but charged us. You have to have more pita so if you get hummus keep in mind $ 5 for the hummus and another ~ $ 1.50 for more pita bread. The food quality wasn’t authentic but it was good. Its worth a try if you are in the mood for Mediterranean, given the comments above.

The hummus was very good. The gyro pita was a little overdone, meat was spot on. The sauce was a little bland. Good size servings. The service was good when we arrived, they were very slow. Half way through our meal they were getting busy. We waited a long time with no refills to see what they had for dessert and again to get the check. Other tables waited long to order too.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. It was a little dark when I first walked in and that tends to lead towards the negative for me. Fortunately that was the lone low point. Authentic flavors, good service and the chef even came and talked to us. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for something delicious to eat.

A true Greek-style treasure in downtown Findlay! This place is a MUST if you are looking to have a glass of wine on the patio for lunch. Knowledgable and friendly staff(especially Keith) and you can’t beat the atmosphere.

Asked if I could sit on the patio, and they said yes. Sat on the patio for 10 minutes and no one showed up. I have had good service 2 times out of 10 + at this place. if there was another Greek place in town I would never suffer through it.

This place is one of my favorite restaurants in Findlay. The food is absolutely delicious and for an amazing price. Our only complaint is that the service is pretty bad. It’s no fault of the waitress staff, who are always working as quick as they can. They just need more staff working there. If you are patient and don’t mind waiting, this place is well worth it.

Greek Garden is the favorite date night for me and my husband. The prices are unbelievably reasonable. The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. Adding the outdoor tables in the alley is great because you don’t have the windy Findlay breeze but you can still people watch from your table. I usually order a large greek salad and it is huge! Very filling. They have a very nice wine list and wine specials. Dining there feels like fine dining without the fine dining price. My only warning is that if you order the OPA, there is a long wait. I don’t know why. It is just fried cheese. Luckily, it is worth the wait.

The food here was excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant, there is a nice patio for enjoying the summer day. The only unpleasant part of the experience was on a busy holiday evening there was only one waitress for the entire place, including outside. The table next to ours was dirty when we walked in and didn’t get bussed during our entire visit. Hopefully this was just a fluke, and it certainly won’t keep me from going back.

Slow service but very friendly. Food was amazing. Tzatziki needs serious work though… very sad news. Thought bill was wrong because it was so cheap. Chocolate baklava had my patents speechless… which NEVER happens. Beware: your clothing and hair and probably your person in general WILL smell like grease after eating here. Try it anyway.

I live in Michigan which is well known for the Greek town located in Down Town Detroit. I was pleased to find a Greek food restaurant until I dined at this particular restaurant. The server was not very helpful she was very short with her words snappy and somewhat rude. The food was very greasy. I ordered the chicken shrarny(gyro) It was very sloppy Not Fresh by any means. The side Greek potatoes were greasy and limped as if they were sitting in grease for quite some time. As if that wasn’t enough; The plates in which your food was served in, were thin wooden(picnic like) plates. «Can You Say Bacteria?» The pickles were american pickles from the jar. There was Absolutely! Nothing Greek about this restaurant. Please do not waste your time or money eating here. _You will regret eating at this establishment more ways than one!

The Greek Garden provides a Greek option here but it isn’t like the Greek places in Columbus. My wife gave it an so-so while my mother-in-law liked it. Note my mother-in-law comes from an area with few or no Greek restaurants while we come from Columbus. The spanakopita wasn’t all that good which is a must for a Greek place. The Greek salad was good but no one should mess that up(I have seen it done before). The Gyro was at a good price at $ 4.50 but was just average. The Tzatziki sauce tasted more like ranch than Tzatziki. The price is pretty good here but if you are looking for good Greek then wait till you head toward a city with a surplus of Greek Restaurants.
