The Sweet Retreat

My spouse and I chose the Sweet Retreat for our wedding cupcakes and the choice couldn’t have been better. They were personal from the cupcake testing clear up to setting up the display. That’s not to mention their delicious products.
They also prepared a small wedding cake to my wife’s design and integrated the cupcakes on a stand with decorations at the reception which relieved some stress. They will also deliver and set up on the big day. I would ⁵⁄₅ recommend to a friend and make another visit for some post-​honeymoon cupcakes!

Great Cupcakes. They just opened a few weeks ago. They are open most afternoons (Wed-​Sun) to evening and then on the weekends after 1 pm.
This little shop was opened up based off of their cupcakes and cakes. The two ladies love to play with different flavors. Each week they have 3 – 5 flavors that change weekly. I have tried their Banana Cream and Lemon Raspberry. My wife who doesn’t like Banana flavored food usually liked the Banana Cream. The middle of the cupcake was filled a very flavorful cream along with a nice light fluffy icing. Their cupcakes aren’t super gourmet but some of them are filled and they are light and fluffy. My wife has enjoyed their carrot cake stated that it was wonderful. The cupcakes are $ 2 a piece and cheaper if you buy a dozen. They also have a Sunday Happy Hour around 5 or 5:30 where they sell whatever cupcakes they have in stock for a $ 1.
They also carry concession type foods since they are located across the park where soccer reigns supreme. They have soft serve ice cream and are playing with ice cream sandwiches and drumsticks. Prices are about normal for this type of place. One can sit outside on picnic tables or inside at about 4 – 5 tables. I love the décor inside as it has a nice small town feel. The menu is written on chalkboards.
I also like this place because it is two local girls stepping out and trying something new. The cupcakes and cakes give this place an edge on the other local soft serve places in town.
