omg… i don’t really like this store. everything is just SUCH low quality, and they dont have a wide variety of sizes for the shoes. I haven’t tried on any of the clothes but they all look to me to be pretty low quality too :(i reeeally wanted to like this store because they have a lot of unique styles BUT they’re just so poorly made. one of the shoes i tried on smelled like chemicals. stores like H&M are pretty low quality too though, so if you dont have a lot of money(which I dont) ur basically fucked lmao.(thrifting rocks LOL)

Its always a hit or miss with this shoe place. They typically carry cute basics every girl should have in her shoe collection and then they have the stripper and tacky party girl selection(which is 80% of the store). Hey, if you like it, I love it; you were warned! Oh and no refunds so be VERY sure you want the item because you only have 7days to exchange for something else.

I cannot stop talking about, thinking about, raving about, plotting ways to get back to this place. Eternity was a total unplanned detour during a 4th of July vacay in Philly. We were up and at ‘em after a red-eye flight making our way to long list of tourist attractions in this historic city, but we were stopped dead in our tracks when cute shoes were spotted out of the corner of my eye. Our intended«Oh, let’s just take a quick look» turned into a «two hour, two day, morning sidetrack causing us to miss our ride to NYC so we needed to resort to the MegaBus» event. But it was totally worth it. Eternity is something else, and if we had one in LA, it would be chaos. If you are a fan of the clothes shopping site, Tobi, then you will think you’ve died & gone to heaven after stepping into Eternity. Seriously, half of the items I’ve coveted on Tobi were found at Eternity for half the price! Us girls stocked up so well, we more than filled the free totes that they gave us at checkout. The girls and I STILL talk about this place often, and there is no doubt it will be the first spot we visit when we return to Philadelphia.

Didn’t have much luck when it came to leggings(which I was looking to restock my wardrobe with); however, when it came to shoes, I lucked out, as did my friend with whom I spent the day shopping. Everything in the store happened to be 20% off that day, so I picked up a pair of TOMS-style shoes retailing originally for $ 16.99 and only had to pay $ 11.99! SCORE! In the way of clothes, you really have to scour the place, but it’s worth it. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for decently priced, good quality shoes and I am for sure coming back next time I need to buy more!

OK… This isn’t some fancy pants place. but let me tell you… I got a great pair of jeans for $ 15 and two pairs of(nice) shoes for $ 35(their shoe selection ranges from horrifying stilettos to the most adorable flats and boots). That’s not too bad. I’m telling ya, this stuff don’t get any cheaper. Sure, it’s not the gold standard of quality, but hey, neither are some of the other stores that are passed off as top of the line. If you need something specific, fast & cheap, this is your place(and probably any of the other stores exactly like it. I guess this review sort of counts for all of those stores that carry the same exact stuff on Chestnut St.) Also, surprisingly good customer service. The lady back in the shoe section asked me how the shoes I was trying on felt and offered to bring back the shoes I didn’t want. Don’t knock it ’til ya try it.

Became a regular here, I never know all the associates names, but they really are a great help on the floor. Always interested in your selections and not afraid to give opinions/advice when you ask.(They don’t just suck up and upsell either, I’ve gotten honest answers). Always a huge amount of selection of shoes, and a good place to go for cheap trendy items that won’t last very long.

Shopping Eternity is one of my all-time favorite lunchtime activities. I don’t usually get too many clothes there, but I almost ALWAYS walk out with at least one pair of shoes. They have super cute, fun and bright shoes in every height(though in my opinion: the higher the better!) and a LOT of them are priced to go at $ 19.99. They also have a lot of discounted brand name stuff, like Steve Madden and Dollhouse. The only down-side, as far as I can tell, is that the dressing rooms are right in the store and the doors only start at knee level and come up to eye level(well, eye level on a regular sized person, it’s top of my head level)… which I’m not in love with. Plus, an attendant stands right next to the door and I’m fairly certain they can see right in. Maybe that’s why I stick to the shoes :)

Like Rave and G&G type stores, Eternity stocks only the latest fashions; however, Eternity’s at a higher price point. E is also positioned as a distinctly urban store. The dummies in the window always catch my eye with their super fly outfits. Here, you can get pretty much any type of clothing you desire plus ALL the accessories to match, but it’ll cost ya. Shoes are $ 50, shirts & bags are $ 15 – 25, and dresses are in the $ 40 area. It adds up pretty quickly. There are a few sale racks, but if something is marked down, that’s usually for a reason, i.e.: it’s ugly. The sales associates are virtually all African-American girls under the age of 21. I have no idea why that is, but it’s funny how they all wear whatever they want. The only way you can tell if any given woman is an employee or a customer is by the presence of a red vest. You’d think that’s pretty obvious, but it’s not when an outfit is tres colorful. Even if you walk out with nothing, you’ll have gotten a primer on the latest in urban east coast fashion & the hottest new hip hop songs. See, E is like a club!
