Poor customer service. Made an appointment a well in advance for an alignment and tires as well as state inspections on another vehicle. First vehicle gets inspected in the morning. Switch them out and get a call 4 hours later saying they are really busy and may not get to it. 2 more hours and they say maybe tomorrow. Not off work to let my car sit in your parking lot. Was an 8 year customer with Al’s. Never going back now. Good thing I made an appointment on my day off.

The service and customer service at Al’s is EXCELLENT! All of the employees there are helpful and knowledgeable. I have been taking my vehicles to Al’s for over 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Another perk that I took advantage of recently was their courtesy loaner cars, much cheaper than renting a car!

After visiting family in St. Louis and on my way back to San Diego, my car started misfiring. AAA towed me to Al’s, which is approved by AAA. They quickly diagnosed the problem. I did have to wait for parts to be shipped in, while Betty kept me well-​informed. They fixed the problem and while testing the car heard a groaning coming from the front of the car. Found a problem with the right front wheel bearing and fixed that. My drive back home was smooth and safe due to the excellent skills and conscientiousness of all the staff. I highly recommend Al’s Auto and Tire!

I’ve tried many car repair places and I finally found the best! Al’s Automotive offer full services from oil change to tires to exhaust to transmission. I’ve been a customer for several years now and I won’t go anywhere else. A couple years ago, I left my car there for new brakes. They told me I did’nt need new brakes, just cleaning the rotors and tighten a couple of things. They easily could have sold me a new set of brakes. Instead they honestly fixed only what needed to be fixed. Integrity is hard to come by in this line of business.
