I ate here twice and about the only good thing here was the beer and my Mac and cheese side. I really wanted my fancy named steak from a ranch with blue cheese au gratin potatoes to scream flavor, but it missed by a mile. My other meal of a burger was bland, even though the name said flavor. I left both times sad and confused that I didn’t enjoy my food.
Sadly, I’m at the hotel just next door, so eating walking distance close just kills the hope of decent eats nearby. Good luck to anyone else, i hope you find your flavor.

Frozen and prepackaged. The burgers are frozen and thawed making my request of, «medium rare» impossible. I ordered the sante fe burger thinking it would be an explosion of flavor. I was disappointed. The burger was bland and very hard to eat. We tried the sampler of beers and each beer was lacking any semblence of flavor. The porter was almost see through and didn’t have any mouth feel and tasted like it came from a concentrate.

Bar had some good games on, drinks were great, clam chowder was great, people were nice. Thank you RAM staff for being awesome to this out of towner

It is good place to have a drink beer with delicious food. There are many flavors fresh beers. They give a sample for taste and you can choose what you like it. It is so cool.

My favorite fish and chips. Its generous and tastes great. The beer is great too try the 71 Pale Ale

Picked this spot primarily due to its location next to the hotel I was in, despite very mixed reviews.
So, to start, I was greeted quickly and as you would expect. When I indicated «one» for dinner, was pretty much directed to the bar. That’s where things went downhill. I was approached by a server in good time, who took my drink order and filled it, then disappeared.
After seeing her take orders from three tables and still not approach me, I finished my drink and waited another 3 — 5 minutes for her to then ask if I was ready to order, after almost 30 minutes… So, no, I was not ready to order. I paid for my tea and left. I don’t know if this place has good, bad of indifferent food, as by the time I was asked to order, I’d made up my mind to move on. Dinner was from Jimmy John’s across the street and was a pretty good roast beef sandwich and pickle.
Or, maybe I was just that hungry from not getting served at The Ram.

Wow! Where did the quality of your food go? We had a group of 15 people. Service was good except for a server with a pony tail he was maybe Asian/​white. He was rude and a di@! We both had mushroom patty melt. Yuck ! It was 2 huge pieces of rye bread with a tiny tiny meat patty. It had about 3 whole mushrooms with 2 pieces of cheap white cheese ! Nasty nasty not worth the time or the money !

I ordered the Cubano. Bread was so soggy I had to use fork and knife. No flavor in the carnitas. I’d would advise against ordering this sandwich. Waitress was non existent and the place was not crowded. It definitely disappointed. But the beer was good, hence the second star.

What’s wrong with people when the sun comes out they act stupid I was sitting next to a table and the waiter was so nice to them when there food came but when she left the lady put hair in her food and made a big deal out of it just To get free food if there butts didn’t have money they never should have been eating out I hope that manager didn’t give them free food.

The ram the ram the ram lol okay so this place is so weird. Some things on their menu are just disgusting and some things are so ridiculously good that it’s sinful!!! I had a glass of their merlot and it was satisfying. I didn’t take a picture of my food sorry about that. I just got a basic burger and fries. Another time we went my husband got some cheesy cheese burger thing and it was so damn good!!! Just be careful with what you get off of the menu.

Great craft burgers, great local beer. Nice atmosphere, nothing fancy, but nicer than a lot of other places around.

My family and I decided to go here for a birthday dinner and we had never been before. Besides a slightly long wait, it was overall a great experience! The food was delicious, our server was great, and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. I’ll definitely be going back.

I really like this place after going to the movies.
The happy hour has great options and we usually order the calamari which is super crispy and it tastes so good. My favorite is the tuna sandwich which has cheese and avocado, this is to die for!!!
The house chips are pretty good too and also recommend the mac n cheese with chicken. Service is always great and the food doesnt take a lof of time.

Service is always friendly, drinks (especially the Proud Mary) are fantastic and the food is good. Just a good place to go for a relaxing dinner or lunch.

Love the service in the bar. Awesome.
Beer: Buttface Ale is great. Food done to perfection.

Service was great, had a small problem with my DL (from out of state) but service was great and friendly. The loaded fries were amazing. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the décor is nice, can be classy if you make it that way (business casual)

I have been to Federal Way Ram before during the week for lunch. I remember having Chelsea as our server. I went back and yeah Chelsea was there.
I had the Sante Fe burger and it was fantastic.
I can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I used to really enjoy coming here. However, recent management changes and the menu change have made our visits less enjoyable. We have given up our Mug Club memberships for 2016 after being members for the past 3 years. It just isn’t the same anymore. Hope this changes in the future. We miss the days when Mike was the manager and the wait staff was friendly and personable.

We ordered 5 entrées and 3 were over cooked with black burn mark on the food.
The salmon were over cooked so bad that it even tasted bitter. The rye bread on the Reubens sandwich was harden black. One out of 2 steak sandwich orders turns out to be good, but the other one the steak was burnt too.
5 stars to the manager’s nice and courteous service. 2 stars to the food. Either the chief needs more training or they need to buy a new grill.

It’s pretty bad when the only halfway decent thing on the plate served to you are the cheesy mashed potatoes. Should’ve known better than to order a steak at a burger joint, but what a disappointment! I ordered my steak medium-rare…my brother ordered the same steak, and asked for his medium. When our dinner was served, they gave my brother the medium steak, and handed me the «rare» steak. I didn’t bother to correct them that it was supposed to be medium-​rare, since I had the gut feeling it was over cooked anyway. I was right, but it wasn’t bad… medium as opposed to medium-​rare. Still somehow managed to be a dry and flavorless steak (probably a poor quality cut)…but my poor brother’s steak was basically well done. Hardly a sliver of pink anywhere to be found, so I wouldn’t even bother calling it med-​well.
To top it all off, service was terrible. It’s pretty bad when your server has to be flagged down — on more than one occasion — just to get more water. When taking our appetizer order, my brother ordered the armadillo eggs. I lifted my head to ask for mozz-​sticks, only to find that our server had already disappeared from the table to place my brothers appetizer order… but without asking anybody else if they wanted anything. Again, our server had to be flagged down to come back and take the rest of our orders.
To top it all off, no check-​back was done after we received our entrées to inquire about our dinners in the slightest. No, «how is everything? Is everything cooked properly?» Nothing. No opportunity to tell them how badly they had f***ed up my brother’s steak, nor to tell them that my steak, while almost cooked right, was just not good.
I ate two bites of steak before asking for a box. Should’ve been another clue I wasn’t happy with my dinner.
My stepdad asked for our checks while we were still eating. Still clueless. Either that, or our server just didn’t care at that point…
I’m in the service industry and have been for a long time. It takes A LOT for me not to tip 20%, and usually it’s just reduced to 18% on principal. I’m pretty forgiving with questionable service, because I get it. Everybody has an off night…
…but this was atrocious. I left pennies over 10%. My mother and stepdad did the same. My brother left $ 5 on $ 30. When my step-​dad inquired as to why, my brother quipped, «because he took my appetizer order. «
I will probably not go to any Ram location ever again. I’ve been disappointed at other locations in the past, and this time was no different.

Favorite go to place for lunch and a cold beer. An original Mug Club member from the year it opened. Good service from folks who recognize me when I walk in the door. Sometimes I feel like Norm from Cheers.
The Blonde is my favorite brew and the fish and chips is great.

Beer, burgers, family. Perfect setting for all 3. My family and enjoyed every bite of the food at Ram in Fed Way. Upbeat bar and grill that compliments all. The staff was friendly and the burger I ordered was phenomenal. I would highly recommend trying this place out! It’s like BJ’s but better in my humble opinion.

Nice, comfortable place with a very good high gravity ale as a seasonal beer. The spicy Caesar salad was a delightful riff on the original, although the sweet cornbread croutons did not stand up to the dressing.
The service was extremely friendly. All in all, a nice meal on the road.

4stars for the service and drinks. 3 for the food. We stopped in here after a harrowing 4 hr drive at night through the the Pass and POURING rain.
It was walking distance from our hotel.
Danielle the bartender mixed up my Lemon drop martini and hubby had the house merlot. One of the best lemon drops I’ve had and we were both happy with the quantities poured.
I ordered 2 appetizers to-​go for lunch tomorrow (fridge in our room).
I ordered the calamari and their crab dip with crustini bread. I checked the order before we left and had a taste test. The calamari has a delicious dip accompanied, but WAY too much breading.
The crab dip was plentiful, creamy and delicious but there were only 6 pieces of bread and most were burned :-/​There’s no way they should have been served but since it was a Togo order the cook probably figured we wouldn’t notice till we got home. I ordered another batch of bread (charged .99) and should have told our server but she was also the bartender and I didn’t want to add to her load on a Busy Friday night. She did her job well; can’t blame her for blasé cooking. The second batch was done perfectly. Apparently, for me, it’s all about the bread at this place :)
We would definitely return for the drinks, crab dip and try some of the food we saw other diners enjoying.

Well, after a 6 hour flight and all the other airport nightmares, I made it to my hotel. Right next door is this place. It’s Sunday afternoon and food and beer and football were on my mind. All three are readily available at RAM.
My co-​worker got a crab and artichoke app and a Ruben quesadilla. I opted for the BBQ burger and a side salad. And some of their home-​brews. It’s a little on the noisy side, but that is the type of place that it is, no romantic dinners here. But there are PLENTY of TVs for watching sports. I even got to watch my beloved Bears, even though they lost in OT. :(
The burger was cooked to a perfect medium, but be warned! Wear an old shirt or get extra napkins before you dig in. I bull-​dogged the Hell out of that thing and was still covered in drippings by the time I was done.
The app was ok, I would have picked something different. My co-​worker let me try a wedge of quesadilla and I just don’t think corned beef and sauerkraut (which I love) goes on a tortilla. Just my opinion.
I saw a lot of seafood options, so I’ll be trying the beer-​battered fish, fish tacos, etc… this week.
Speaking of beer: I had the Oktoberfest and the hefeweisen. I preferred the latter but they were both very good beers.
It was about $ 50 when we were done. I’m sitting in my hotel room, slightly buzzed, satiated with food and drink and trying to stay awake long enough to no wake up at 3AM.

10% off your bill if you’re staying at the hotels nearby! Not bad, I guess.
Came here because we were starving after flying in and this place was right next door to the hotels.
If you’re looking for your fair share of unhealthy food, this place is it! Everything from waffle-​cut fries to fried pickles to mac and cheese, this is the place. Hits the spot if you’re hungry, but I would say the food was average. Drinks and cocktails here were pretty delicious though.
Also, you can borrow tablets to play trivia on the TV while you’re waiting. Pretty cool.

Not many HH places in FW so the RAM is one of the places I occasionally go to. Pretty good food and a good selection of beers and appetizers. Probably more known for their burgers/​sandwiches, which they makes pretty well.
They had some new Asian inspired burgers went I went. My friend and I ordered two burgers and split halves. We got the Taste of Seoul Burger, which was a Korean galbi-​marinated burger with pickled veggies, and the Pork Belly Burger, which was a beef patty with pork belly. The Taste of Seoul was actually quite good with a good sweet taste to it. Reminded me of the Bulgalbi Burgers I had at Lotteria in Korea. The Pork Belly Burger was pretty good as well. However, the Pork Belly was more of thick cut bacon than a traditional Asian pork belly one would think of. Both burgers were very juicy as well and some napkins were required!
We got some appetizers which were disappointing today (or maybe they just didn’t taste as good since I didn’t have a beer). The loaded waffle fries were quite cheesy and little too much cheese for me. The nachoes were alright but nothing like Matador or the such. The calamari always tastes good and I think is the best appetizer offered.
Overall, the Ram is a decent place to go to for HH. Decent selection of appetizers and beers (which I haven’t talked about today).

The food isn’t bad, but not the greatest either. The last time I went, I sat in the bar. There was only one waiter in the bar, and he gave good customer service for being the only waiter in the busy bar. He did forget a few items we asked for, but was sincerely apologetic and still did a good job. I ordered the Crispy Pork Belly Burger, which I haven’t seen anywhere else yet so far, so I had to try… it was pretty good, tasted basically like a bacon burger. I do like that their bar opens later than most restaurants.

This place is just average. I could eat here again if someone I was with wanted to, but I wouldn’t choose it myself.
Had a hamburger and fries. The fries are soggy and not fresh. The hamburger is the same quality I could get at Jack In The Box.
Super loud joint as there are no barriers for the huge one room dining area plus large TV’s playing sports. Décor is way boring and tells nothing in a story.
Service as not what it should have been, but not terrible.
