Fitness 19

Hands down, this gym wins. I can’t even believe all they offer in this package. I have been on a fitness kick for over a year now. I was 260lbs and am now at 200lbs thanks in part to fitness 19. Really? 60lbs in one year and I have tried several gyms… Yeah I think it’s working at fitness 19. I tried several gyms at the beginning and just couldn’t find the right fit. Everything clicks at this location, the hours, the facility, and best of all the people. The staff at this gym is so down to earth and friendly they quickly became more like family. When I miss a day, I actually miss the gang. So get this, for $ 12 a month, I get all access to their gym. The free weights, the machines, the treadmills and all the other cardio equipment. Since I just went to Hawaii the first time, I used the stand up tanning bed also. I don’t have any young children but they also have a daycare inside. What I like most about this gym (besides the crew) is it’s an easy in and easy out quick full stacked gym. And when I need to pick up some milk on the way home, I don’t have to make another stop since its in the Fred Meyer parking lot. This is a busy persons gym for sure. If you don’t have the time to work but have to figure out how to squeeze it in your day. This is your best shot. Take it from me, my results are not lying. Nice and simple gym. Great price, no yearly contract. Can get crowded between 4−6pm for the obvious reason that the whole world seems to be off at the same time and wants to get their sweat on at the same time. I’m one of those people…
The overall staff is nice and the Kid Zone has lots of activities for kids. My sons enjoy going there and sometimes hate leaving. They’ve at times asked me to go running for another 30 mins, so that they can spend more time there. lol
The equipment is solid, machines hardly break down and when they do, the facility is quick to fix it. Benches are nice, no tears or rips. Dumbbells and bars have great grip not worn down.
Other than having to deal with a few dumbbells who forget to rack their weight or take up more space than what they need to the atmosphere is pleasant. No huge gorillas to deal with or people who like to gather around a machine and pretend they are on the show «The View».
As a side bonus. Starbucks is next door and their Wifi spills over to Fitness 19 so you can connect your mobile device to their wifi broadcast and not have to use your own data. Great bonus for me because I like to watch movies or shows on my mobile device as I do cardio.

good value — wish there was cleaning supplies posted around to clean the machines before and after you use them — dont appreciate the trash in the PDA /​book holders on the orbitals — looks like a trash bin — freekin gross. guess that is what happens when you go value — you get the hood as well.

Not a bad facility. Has all the basic work out equipment, lockers, etc. Child care is available and very reasonable. It is never really packed here, you can always get on a machine as another person commented, it could use a little deep cleaning. Overall, good bang for your buck for membership. Pass on the personal training though, the trainers here are useless.

Good price and friendly atmosphere! Overall the facility is fairly clean, could use a dusting but the machines themselves are wiped down very regularly. A wide selection of machine and free weights to choose from. For a small neighborhood gym, this gives you the bang for the buck!

For the money this is the best gym around. They pack a lot into a little space but all the essentials of a healthy weight and lifting system are there. This facility has the added perk that it is brand new! The location is convenient and there are typically enough equipment to keep as busy as yould like to.
The gym has tanning available; there are changing rooms and a children’s play area.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and supportive.
One perk is that if you are a member of one gym then you can go to any of their gyms… That is how I came across this gem of a gym.
Sweat is good here! So is the price. The only downer I have is their hours of operation dont really fit my active lifestyle. Sometimes it is hard to get a full workout in when they close earlier or open later than Id like. That will change as people go/​request it to.
