Decent prices, good service and the food was good. I had not eaten at this chain in 20 years as they don’t have them in my home state anymore. But I would definately go back and it was pretty much what I remember.

Chicken teriyaki was really delicious and juicy. Sauce was excellent. Two sides to boot! Reasonable when you consider everything

I’m not impressed with you, Black Angus. I came here a few months ago, for my birthday. It was a Saturday evening, so I expected a long seating wait time, and that’s what I got. Being in the busy Gateway Center, this establishment receives a lot of traffic. Finding a parking spot here is a NIGHTMARE and impossible. You won’t find a spot in the restaurant’s small lot. Pier 1 next door prohibits you from parking in there lot, which means you have to park on the other side of the shopping plaza. That was the first sign of things going downhill. I waited to be seated about 45 minutes, from there, I was escorted to the«Bullseye Bar» area. It was loud and noisy, although I didn’t really have any issues with that. I had a coupon for my dinner, and when I gave it to my server, she seemed annoyed and became hostile. The first appetizer I got, the Cheesy Bread, was delicious. However, when the steak I ordered came, I was disappointed. It lacked any real flavor, and the consistency was off. The French fries were ok. My server asked if I wanted ketchup, which was probably the only positive thing she did. Dessert: Sky-High Mud Pie. Yes! But no. It was on-point — but I’ve never eaten at a place that gives you one slice for a party of two. I felt ripped off right then and there. My experience here was sub-par, as I’m not recommending this place for others. The décor here was nice, unfortunately, that’s not why I go to restaurants. Go 30-seconds down the road to Outback Steakhouse. Better steaks, Better prices, and convenient parking. Sorry Black Angus, but it’s over. We’re not getting back together. Like ever.

I was quite pleased with the food and service! I would highly recommend that you call ahead and meet a reservation(as I did) or you could be spending a wait for a table on the weekend! We arrived approximately 5 minutes prior to our time and only had about a 10 minute wait before we were seated. Also I would suggest taking advantage of any coupon you reciever in the mail, as well as the meals can be a bit pricey if ordered straight from the menu. Our family used the 2 for $ 42 campfire meals, which was a great deal! The salads, appetizers and steak meals all tasted great and were served rather timely/quickly. Also, the waitress did not make you feel awkward for using the. oupons, which in turn left more money for a deserved tip! I would recommend stopping in, once in a while!

My boyfriend and I went in for lunch yesterday. It was amazing!!! I ordered the Cowboy Sangria, so good! My boyfriend ordered the Rack of Lamb and Rib-Eye Steak, he loved it. I ordered the Rib-Eye with Lobster, also amazing. The house bread was also very tasty. Everything was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed it all.

Tonight I came for drinks and maybe a playoff game(GSW– OKC). I was told that I couldn’t get sound because it wasn’t a playoff/Seahawk/whatever game could be watched with sound. Needless to say I wasn’t granted access to the fun filled watching I was hoping to have. After talking to the ever so pleasent manager I took to this site WHERE maybe I could be heard. What a disappointment. Had to wait for 45 minutes for a table after being told only 20. 30 minutes to order. Food was cold. Dessert 20 from the end of dinner. We used to go there often yet not worth a discounted $ 80 dinner for three.

We came in with a coupon for a free lobster tail with the purchase of a steak. It turns out that I had the wrong part of the coupon with us. I kept on insisting, that we would just order a regular meal, not worry about the coupon and would just use the coupon next time. The waitress insisted on talking to her manager, to see if it was OK if we use the coupon. She came back and told us that it was OK. So we placed our order, both with filet mignon steaks, we told her our sides and she asked if we wanted a free appetizer. We were surprised that it came with a free appetizer but she says yes it comes with a free appetizer so we ordered the potato skins. When the meal finally came, oddly enough we had no lobster tail. We ask another waitress, who just happened to be passing by, where our lobster tails might be. She said she would check on it. Are waitress came to our table and already had a slight attitude. She said that the coupon had about four different choices on it and she assumed that we wanted something else. She assumed? She assumed wrong. She asked us that didn’t we realize it was the wrong order when she offered us free appetizers? I told her we didn’t even know about the free appetizers or didn’t even ask about them, until you mentioned it! I told her not to be rude but the coupon that I had has a huge lobster tail picture on it. She began to pull out the coupon from her pocket, but then said to us that she had to throw it away, because if she got caught using a coupon that we didn’t even have in the first place she would get written up. Can you say guilt trip? I guess at this black Angus, the customer is never right. Sadly, I don’t think we will be back.

Ate black angus as a kid and thought it’d be better… but i guess what do you expect from a national chain with undertrained, unimaginative cooks. The main? Well, it was an overly salty, chewy steak. Bleh. That and gross bathrooms that hadn’t been cleaned all day(if all week) pretty much sum up the experience. To be fair It does merit a 2.5 stars for the grilled shrimp which were actually delish, and the helpful, positive minded servers. The grilled salmon wasn’t too bad either just overpriced at $ 23 ish. Won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend… we just had a coupon so gave it a try.

Haven’t been here for a little while. We had the campfire feast. All was good. Like the loaded potato soup. Ribeye was very good! Wife had the New York steak, and liked it as well. Service was a bit slow,(they were not slammed), but then we were not in any big hurry. So much food had to take it home and the dessert as well. We went home happy.

Came with the family on a busy night and we were seated in a booth promptly at the time reserved. The booths are great, especially with kiddos, and provide a surprising amount of privacy. Waitress was attentive without being pushy. Food took a bit long to come out, but that was somewhat expected with the crowd. Steaks were all properly cooked to medium, which made up for the wait. Overall a good place… We will definitely return. They do get quite busy and it’s a bit expensive for casual place, but not overly so. Love that they are on OpenTable and Rewards Network, as that gives you a bit more value for money.

Came here with my wife, in federal way for business. We got the campfire feast– I got prime rib she got salmon. Both meals were perfect: large portions, great quality, cooked perfectly. We got the zucchini with the cucumber dip as an app and it was AMAZING! Our waitress Kim was wonderful! Refilled our drinks promptly, didn’t bother us much but was very tentative.

A steakhouse in Federal Way should be able to garner a 3 star review because that would mean it is middle of the pack, good service and ok food. Let me start off by saying this visit didn’t hit the mark on any of those points listed above. 1. Reservations for 6:30 for a birthday dinner. Sat down 15 minutes past the reserved time but I can live with that. 2. Appetizers and drinks ordered. 15 minutes later, drinks showed up which consisted of a water and an iced tea. Appetizer didn’t show up until 20 minutes later but the appetizer sampler platter came out almost ice cold. Ok, getting a little irritated but at this point I just want to order my entrée. 3. Ordered a steak medium rare, a prime rib rare and a kids meal consisting of sliders and fries. 25 minutes later, our food came and we get to see how they do with their food since their service isn’t even close to being good(I will elaborate later). 4. My steak was over cooked, but at least warm, and my loaded baked potato was cold. The prime rib was cooked good and decent taste. The sliders were cold as well along with the fries. *side note– I don’t send food back, that is just not me. I would rather tell others about my service than make the cooks do double the work when it is typically the servers fault. 5. The service was atrocious! Not one time, let me repeat, NOTONETIME did the server ever come to the table to ask how the food was, ask for refills or ask if there was anything else that we needed. I personally had to get up, go to the server station and grab the iced tea pitcher along with the water pitcher just so we can get some refills for our drinks. The server never came over to grab any plates from our table so when they started to get piled up from the appetizers, salads and dinner, I personally took them to the server station and set them on the counter. *I should have gotten paid an hourly wage for coming here tonight since I was doing all the work. 6. I WILLNEVERCOMETOTHISRESTAURANTAGAIN! Horrible service and horrible food. On the way out I asked for the manager who was unavailable so I was offered the manager’s card so I could give feedback via phone call or email I guess. The hostess’ didn’t even seem that me asking for a card was an out of normal experience so it seemed as though it may have happened quite often here. This probably ranks in the top 3 worst restaurant experiences I have ever had in the whole country. I hope that the managers of this restaurant feel ashamed and use this as a coaching moment to share with their team on exactly what not to do. I understand that things can happen such as people calling in sick or not showing up for work without calls but in that instance, the manager should be up floating around and checking in with customers and helping his staff. I sincerely hope that someone didn’t show up to work or else I would have to assume that this service is as bad all the time like I have described above.

Came here earlier this afternoon for a quick lunch since the BF and I were both hankering for some meat after an early afternoon of shooting. Came here on a very quiet Christmas Eve day and the place, as expected, was practically empty. We got seated right away. 10 minutes later and still no waitress, the BF finally got up and flagged a server down. Only after did we get any attention. By the time she came around we already had everything we wanted to order down and rattled off our order so we could get our meal as quickly as possible. The meal itself was decent — my favorite part is probably the 3 cheese garlic bread appetizer. My NY strip steak was just ok(a little too much on the rare side of a medium rare order) but the asparagus and Brussels sprouts were delicious. The high noon lunch order comes with 2 cookies for dessert and I think they were essentially just butter and sugar with a sprinklings of chocolate chip here and there. It was so sweet(maybe even a bit undercooked we couldn’t eat it). This branch is fine if you’re in the area but you may have better luck on your food and certainly the service at a different chain steakhouse.

Our last experience was so unsavory we vowed to not go back. The Campfire coupon for two is very cheap and tempting and it can feed 4. Unfortunately, not even that can make me go back. We reeled waiting and waiting for almost two hours for food, for receipt and service. Our waiter simply was inattentive and didn’t care at all. There was no apology except for an explanation that there was a big party ahead of us. Quite a shame because we’ve seen busier nights. We literally had to ask for our receipt and had to take our desserts to go. Food is okay but without the coupon, it’s really not worth the trouble.

Tonight was my sisters 20th Birthday celebration. We were a party of 6. The hostess didn’t seem to happy to work so that was one thing that bugged me. Although, our server Caitlin was the most amazing server we’ve ever had! I’ve ever had. Surprisingly she was only 19, turning 20. She had lots of energy and smiles, was very positive and patient with us, and was very nice and polite too. She honestly deserved that $ 30 tip we gave her. I ordered a New York Strip, Center Cut with a Caesar salad and loaded baked potato side. My steak was medium well and it was perfectly cooked. Caesar salad was amazing and the loaded baked potato was good, but the cheese needed to melted a bit more. Overall everyone else’s good was pretty much 4star. What really topped it off was our amazing service! Thanks so much Caitlin! We hope you have a great 20th birthday!

Came here for happy hour with my boyfriend. The bartender is completely rude. He makes you feel like you’re an inconvenience to him. He didn’t have enough time for his customers but he had enough time to talk about after work with a coworker. I used to love coming here with my family but… I’m not so sure it will happen again anytime soon… very disappointed.

Great food! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the ribeye steaks. They were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their garlic cheese bread is THEBEST! :)
