TownePlace Suites

Pet friendly a plus for pet owners, but not so much for non-​pet owners. Some rooms should be set aside for people only! Furniture was worn and dated. All in all not up to Marrriott’s usual high standards.

Super friendly desk clerk and a very clean property made for a peasant stay. It was raining cats and dogs so we stayed in the room and cooked dinner. The kitchen had enough pots and dishes to whip a a great meal.

Stayed here for a very extended business trip. Very nice on the outside. Reminded me of a big, over-​sized mountain lodge. Has a very nice outside patio with a big gas fireplace, all covered by a pergola.
The suites are nice sized, but a bit dated in my opinion. The furniture in my suite was in desperate need of replacement. The couch was VERY worn and stained and sunk in the middle. Not too comfortable. My mattress was pretty much the same… very worn and saggy.
The complimentary breakfast was… not so good. Pretty much cereal, oatmeal, toast, and biscuits and gravy. Ohhhh… and get this, when they ran out of biscuits for several days, it was biscuits and English muffins… yes you read correctly, GRAVY AND ENGLISH MUFFINS… ummmmmm no thanks!
Needless to say, went next door to the Residence Inn for breakfast…
On a positive note…
The kitchens were nice and had all the basics. Housekeeping came everyday and did a good job.
All in all, it was an ok place to stay, but for a Marriott brand, I was a little disappointed.

as there is ALWAYS room for improvement, service, can get a tad better. staff is always in the back or on personal calls, otherwise they are very helpful, and friendly when assisting you.
the rooms exceptionally clean and i am a clean OCD freak and i didnt feel uncomfortable at all.
***THIS IS AN EXTENDED STAY HOTEL**** SO THEY DO ALLOW PETS**
WHICH WAS A MAJOR PLUS FOR US! AND they even have free treats for your dogs! Considering they allow pets and the rooms were that IMMACULATE, i was shocked!
there were a few days that the breakfast was just not there (clerk said delivery hadnt come in? i have worked this industry, you always over order), otherwise, its in a good location, close to shopping, downtown and fort bragg.
prices are really reasonable. i was told it opened in 2009
