Fayetteville Townplace Suites

BLUF: 3 stars for the room, the 4^th star for the friendly and helpful staff.
This is day 3 of my 1 week stay. The one facet of my stay that I was the most impressed with was the staff. When I went to breakfast on the 1^st morning, the auntie (I didn’t catch her name yet) staffing the dining area greeted me, asked how I was and checked to ensure I had what I needed. Not a bad way to start the morning.
Later the same day, I returned to my room before housekeeping could get to my room. Before I entered the door, Rachel from Housekeeping greeted me and asked me if I had everything I needed. This kind of attention from both staff encounters makes you feel a little special!
As for the room, it is very clean. The carpet on the other hand is either very old or wasn’t installed correctly, thus is wearing down faster than it should. The carpet bunches up in places from vacuum in or furniture moves. The room would be close to perfect if they install a new carpet.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

This place has nice rooms. The typical things you’d expect from a Marriott stop there. I don’t know if it’s because this place has such a high turnover because of being in Fayetteville but front desk assistance is lacking as well as basic services for the hotel. Paying for just using laundry and requiring change without even an ATM in the hotel makes the simplest of tasks difficult. Bottom line, if you’re stuck on Marriott, try a different one like Residence Inn.

I was stuck between Meh and A-​Ok. The rooms were a decent size, but the kitchenette seriously lacked supplies, the rooms had no soundproofing and my colleagues and I were regaled with sounds of our neighbors having sex, some father verbally abusing his wife and kids, everyone’s conversation, something that sounded like the maid’s cart exploded, and we could actually call to each other from several rooms down and hear each other.
The downstairs PCs were so awful. If you need to stay connected bring your own pc definitely. The staff was nice and allowed my colleague to do a ridiculous amount of printing for free, so that was a plus. The daily cookies were also delicious and the guests lined up for them.

Nice rooms, with kitchettes. But slow internet.
Noise is off the shelf crazy on the weekends — kids and adults screaming in the halls. I was here for 10 days and the difference between week day and weekend traffic was significant.
The front desk staff is super friendly and super welcoming. Breakfast in the morning is a great option when you have early meetings.
The neighborhood is doggy at best. I went running and when I came back i got all kinds of feedback about «never doing that again» because the area around hotels is #1 drug trafficking hot spot in Fayetteville.
Plenty of restaurants to walk and drive to — just be careful after dark.

I really love this place!
So this is my first time visiting Fayetteville. And I was really pleased when I came across this place and decided to book it…
It’s about 10 – 15 minutes away from Ft. Bragg and it’s also pet friendly! I wish I would have known this earlier cause I would have brought my pooch…
There’s a Walmart and a Sam’s club all in walking distance. As well as a Cracker Barrel! And a few other really good restaurants in walking distance.
The staff is very friendly… And really give u that southern hospitality feel.
In the room There’s a cook top as well as a full fridge and a dishwasher. Only thing missing is an oven! They also have a grill located by the pool that you can use.
I would definitely recommend this place if you have dogs or are looking to save a little cash by cooking ur own food!

I’m on day 2 of a 15 day stay here. I like it! It’s newer (well…since 09 or later) and roomy and seems clean. No bed bugs in my room and the AC/​Heater isn’t too loud (I have a problem with that). My only real complaint is the TV. It’s slow and the satellite skips CONSTANTLY! It’s also VERY slow to change channels. If they changed that… I’d probably give it 5 stars! I have no other complaints!
