Applebee’s

Going to this applebees has always been a crap shot. But they really out did themselves on this trip. First of all a customer told us as we were waiting for a table good luck, as he was getting his own silver ware. We were seated shortly after that. Fifteen minutes no waitress. Walked out, waitress never was going to wait on us. Needless to say, we’re done!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Was taken to a table that wasn’t cleaned properly, waited for 15 mins no one greeted us and 3 other waitress was around us. My friend had to get up and tell someone that the table was dirty and no has greeted us. It took another 5 mins to have a waitress come to us to explain that the waitress for that section was overwhelmed and she will be helping us, we gave her our order considering we have been sitting there for 15 mins. We waited another 20 mins for our drinks which then my friend went to speak with manager she told her the ordeal and that we were about to leave, the manager said don’t do that. The waitress came back and gave us some bull crap excuse on how that our drinks should be made shortly cause the is a line of other drink to be made… we had beer… then another waitress came over and tried to straighten it out but by this time we have been there for 45 mins, still no food no drinks. Then we found out that our order was NEVER put into the system at this point we were fuming and l apologies only go so far, so we left!!! On our way out we made the comment if your hungry don’t eat here and that couple said they had the same issue! I wish I could give them negative stars it wasn’t like they were really busy or anything it’s in the flipping suburbs!!!

The service was terrible. Customer service was horrible. My family and I were greeted with attitudes and watched as tables were not cleaned properly. The tables that were being cleaned had a server clean them
with a trash bag in their hands and dumped into the trash bag. I also saw another guest have to come back to the front to get silverware from the hostess area. The hostess had terrible customer service as well. Her friends congregated around the area laughing and talking in front of the door which was very unprofessional. On a similar occasion, I witnessed some of the same poor service techniques and customer service. I thought I would give this Applebee’s another try but after tonight I will not be visiting or recommending this restaurant to anyone. I plan to send a letter to the corporate office Monday morning. I have never been so disappointed.

Last night, Nov 24, 2015 I visited Applebee’s and it will receive no stars (I think I have to give at least 1 to post). I will never ever return to this restaurant. Bar none… The worst dining situation I have ever been in. 2 ½ hours to get thru our meal. They were short on cook staff (30 minutes went by before we could even order due to the back up in the kitchen) When we finally did get our meals… we had no silverware. When requesting silverware… It took about 10 minutes to round up some plastic ware. Hence the food got cold. Their dishwashing help didn’t show up so they were behind on cleaning dishes. My son had a steak and it was most difficult to cut with a plastic knife. It was so cold in the restaurant… Cool Air was noticeably blowing out of the vents. It was 50 degrees outside… So air conditioning did NOT need to be on. Most of the diners kept their jackets on while dining. The hostess also was wearing her jacket. The manager — I think his name was Fredrick– was one of the few not wearing a coat. He seemed to be sitting down a good bit chatting it up with folks that might have been regulars. The tables where diners had eaten were not bused. There were 5 tables sitting there… Dirty and Un bused. The women’s bathroom was a mess. One of the toilet paper dispensers was broken and on the floor. Sinks looked awful. The only reason I stayed was because it was my sons birthday and he had planned his bday dinner around this restaurant a long time ago because he loves the chocolate dessert here and he had a gift card for Applebee’s. It was a special night for him as he brought his girlfriend along to celebrate. Both of the young adults that went with me have special needs… they too noticed how whacked out this restaurant was but they were patient as ever. Thank heavens the food we did receive was surprisingly good (even though it got cold before we had our first bite) considering all of the other red flags. Our waiter, Keenan was AMAZING in spite of the conditions he was working. I believe he had only worked there for 2 days and it was obvious he had great training from previous employer– Chick fil a. He was calm and poised and terrific dealing with all kinds of shenanigans that must of been coming from the kitchen. No apologies ever came from the manager.

You should visit @ your own risk, I started with a dirty plate, Food not plated as on menu, hard potatoes, mushy veggies, over coked steak and drinks! forget about it. But if u want privacy u will get it, barely saw my server, and even after requesting store manager not at all. I reported the visit with online review with Applebee’s, no response. I say No! Late night eating after a graduation ceremony. Place was busy. Server was very friendly. We all ordered the boneless wings. Mine were dry and not very tasty. They were barely warm. Celery stick was large and crunchy. My husband’s wings were soupy. Pretty disappointed in the meal. Just because it was ½ off appetizers doesn’t mean quality should be affected.

Considering that it was 10:30 pm in the middle Of suburbia on a Sunday night; Applebee’s was the only sit down diner in Fayetteville open For business (this location closes at midnight and 1am on weekdays). That is it as far as convenience and being open for business goes.

Diet coke took the better part of an hour and a half to arrive while the restaurant was half empty, fully staffed and appeared chaotic for
No absolute reason visible from where I was sitting.
The table behind me was huffing and puffing at the excessive wait time and the family of four walked out. Another lady at my right was about to do the same until the manager brought the food and told her out loud that «it’s free and on the house, so sorry, etc.».
When the food finally arrived to the table; my very apologetic waitress that was simply way too chatty at every tabe instead of being focused on the task at hand; poured her heart out about every problem she can think of with her work shift and I simply said can you please get the cutlery so I can finish the meal and leave. The meal was actually pretty good for a late Sunday night diner meal but everything else ruined the stop.
Unfortunately, the other Unilocal reviews were very accurate in the description of this location’s ambiance, drama and long wait times; I certainly will keep driving next time and will be avoiding the chaos and hassle of

Service was good but nothing impressive. The restaurant was quiet and overall pretty clean. We were sat fast and we had one lady get our drink order and the second waiter was actually our waiter.
We received free chicken wonton tacos because of a promotion for the new drinks.
The food was good and came out rather fast.

Do not go here expecting good service. The experience starts from the time you walk in the door. The workers seem confused and unmotivated. You’ll wait forever just to be seated in a half empty restaurant, another forever to find out who your waitress is, then again for drinks, food and finally to check out. Nothing is quick about this place. The food is decent at least, but the service sucks. Every time we go, there’s someone walking out and other people complaining and looking disgusted. There needs to be a major overhaul of management and crew here. Unfortunately, it’s the only one in the nearby area. Every time I go I hope that things have improved, but it hasn’t happened yet.

Im not sure about the other reviews but my service was great! Drinks were never empty and we were checked on multiple times to see if we needed anything. The food was great and didnt take too long at all.
Leaps and bounds better than the location on Tara.

Just left the place moments ago. Service was awful. Walked in and was seated quickly. Fifteen minutes passed w/​o so much as a courtesy glance from any of the staff. No water or drink requests were taken Left the restaturant perturbed and immediately wanted to let every one know. By the way, there were two waitresses standing around yapping to each other while we waited… go figure. If their customer service is the determining factor of the establishment staying open, then they should close… immediately!

Tried this place once, my wife asked if she could have the chicken in her wrap substituted for shrimp and said we were ok with a dollar or two up-​charge which is typical at most places — but for some reason they said they couldn’t so our visit only lasted 10 min and consisted of a canceled app order

Dude! This Applebee’s leaves me almost speechless… And not in a good way! I’m seriously the sweetest and most forgiving customer when it comes to restaurants because I’ve worked in several restaurants before. However, even I couldn’t over look the terrible service here.
After being sat, it took our server 10 minutes to greet us then it took him another 10 minutes to bring waters. I wanted to order a margarita but he disappeared without a trace for another 10 before he finally got my drink order. After he brought that and got our food order it had been a half hour since we sat down!
The whole time I wondered why we were still there. It was truly disappointing.
The whole process took a total of 2 hours! And all we got between two people was two drinks and an appetizer sampler. It was such a fail!
I would never go back not recommend this Applebee’s location to anyone. The only positive thing about the entire experience was the fact that the appetizer sampler was delicious.

have seen a lot of negative reviews on here for this place. not really sure why. I am a regular customer here bc of how great the staff is here. a lot of them spot me right when i come in the door and make sure to come say hello. really makes u feel at home. food is also pretty good and reasonably priced. make sure to say hey to natalie at the bar.

This was probably THE WORST casual dining experience I have ever had! From the inattentive, unfriendly hostesses, the unknowledgable and slow server, the less than adequate kitchen staff and a manager who se lying made her sound like a bumbling fool! A TOTAL waste of $ 41.24!!! Just think of the groceries I could have bought! Shame on me! Well, we’ll see if an email to the GM will result in better service (sent that as soon as I got home!) One thing is for sure… I will NOT return under ANY circumstances! Even my co-​worker said, ‘you should have called me, I would have told you not to go!’

This Applebee’s does a good job. The servers are just attentive enough to be effecient without being annoying. We have never had to send food back, which to me is a BIG plus.

Ok, ok — I shouldn’t have any expectations… it’s Applebee’s. But after hour 3 of Christmas shopping, it was a desperate act. I decided to be good and get one of their signature «under 550 calories» meals, so I decided on the Grilled Dijon Portobello Chicken with roasted potatoes and grilled veggies. The chicken was actually cooked well, but I couldn’t taste any «dijon». The 5 (five!) potatoes were just ok, no real seasoning to speak of. The squash was fine but the broccoli was cooked to within an inch of its life. Hubby got a run of the mill «bar food» burger — nothing bad but nothing good, either.
Service was fine, if a bit nosy («You must be tattoo artists!» was our greeting. Ugh.) The speakers spat out a bonafide 90’s dance party — Spice Girls, Ace of Base and other crimes against music. So yeah, we ate, nobody died, and we got everything on our list.

Every few months we decide to give this restaurant another try. I don’t know why. Every single visit we have server issues and food issues. Really unfortunate!
